The frame would have required different size opening in cabinet but old frame integrated OK and we had saved it so installers were able to finish the job.

I paid more for this trim than I paid for the microwave it was for! I could not find any options so I reluctantly ordered it. It is offensive to think that they can get away with charging so much. In fairness to Best Buy this is the price everywhere. I just couldn’t find a better deal. Mad at Panasonic

the trim kit is well made, and pretty, but it’s very hard to install, it’s hard to just install the bracket and put the trim cover on. you need to measure and add filler in order to fit the cover.

if your cabinet opening is not too big, i suggest you not to use the cover. if you want to high end finish look, you need to spend some energy on installing this.

The installation is now completed, however, I could not use half of the kit supplied. The support tray held the unit to high in the cabinet opening. The pin and brackets were too wide to fit into the cabinet opening. had to use spacers and shims to get it all centered and able to mount only two of the four brackets. Can recc to people who have some tools and skills to modify.

Nice trim kit but it did not fit the unit. The Best Buy in home consultant did not measure correctly. Best Buy made returning this very easy.

Well-made stainless steel trim kit. It is tricky to install. The installation by the Best Buy service guy went well. Once installed, it really looks nice.

Before buying this I read a couple of really nasty reviews mentioning vague instructions and one complained about uneven gaps around the oven once it was installed. The instructions are a bit vague. Lots of drawings and arrows and few actual instructions. But after carefully looking at them things became clear. The reviewer withe uneven gaps obviously bought the wrong trim kit. My advice is just make sure this is the right trim kit for your Panasonic oven and follow the measurements in the instructions very, very carefully. In the end it’s really easy to install and looks great. My only complaint is that in case the oven needs service how is the front of the kit removed? Panasonic was not helpfull here.

The trim kit gives a professional look to the installation. I was able to install it in the existing cabinet, however it might be a little challenging for a beginner.
