    One of the best games I have played in a long time. Vanillaware has made a masterpiece. The visual novel, the art, and the strategy part of the game is fantastic. I am glad I bought this game, truly a gem!

    This is my first time playing 13 Sentinels, as I did not play it on PS4. The game looks beautiful, as most Vanillaware games do and the story is engaging. Combat can get hectic at times, but is an interesting combination to the visual novel theme. I would definitely recommend this is either RTS or visual novels appeal to you.

    Vanillaware are known for releasing sleeper hits. Just like Muramasa Demon Blade/rebirth, odin Sphere, and (my favorite) Dragon’s Crown, this game is a must own.

    This is definitely a sleeper hit. If you like tactical games this will definitely get your blood flowing. It’s got amazing voice acting, plot is solid, characters are unique, art style by Vanillaware, it’s got most of the boxes checked. This is actually my second time buying this game, first was for my PS4.

    Vanillaware has yet to disappoint me. With 13 Sentinels Aegis: Rim they deliver a gorgeous adventure game/visual novel with a dozen or so characters involved in a really cool story, with some giant robot mech RPG segments to break things up. The game runs great on the Switch and is a nice change of pace from other games out there. Worth a look for sure, especially if you tend to favor anime-style stories/designs.

    It’s a bit hrs to label this game. It’s like an RPG, but the story elements are pretty unique. Vanilla ware comes through again with a beautiful game.

    This is a game full of twists and turns. The story and characters is great. There is so much fun in trying to piece together the mysteries of the world at the same time as the characters. The real time strategy gameplay is fine, nothing special. The real draw is in the story. If you’re not a fan of heavily story-centered games then this one might not be the game for you.

    This game is a masterpiece. I picked it up on Playstation when it first came out and ultimately didnt get that far due to the nature of the game and the time commitment. When it came to the Switch I picked it up again and popped in some head phones while my s/o used the TV. Everything from the story, the art style, the music, and the game play is wonderful. Vanillaware doesn’t miss. I hope to see them drag more of their classics on to the Switch in the near future.

    Great story. Gameplay is almost non existent. Plays more like a point and click adventure or visual novel than other Vanillaware games. And it’s still a 10/10
