Nice kettle, not your basic water kettle. Has different settings for temperature for water and has a baby bottle cleaning function if that’s what you need. I purchased this to heat the water for my moms pot and does a good job doing that. Like other Zwilling products well made and looks good. Not your basic water kettle.

Gift for my wife. Tea-natic. Worth every penny. She loves the temperature options for different tea types and the keep warm options. Very large pitcher so service for more is always ready.

Great kettle, easy to use, doesn’t connect to the internet. Keep hot settings are nice. Gets a vinegar bath every quarter for mineral stains and looks new every time.

This is a very nice kettle, it is ALMOST perfect. Out of everything offered on the market currently it hit all the marks of what I was looking for:
* Minimal plastic IN the kettle, there’s a small amount of plastic on the lid where the strainer connects to the lid.
* Keep warm function
* Temperature selections that work for tea! White, green, oolong, black.
There are additional things I was not looking for that I really like, I appreciate the double wall that insulates the outside of the kettle from boiling water. I can put my hand on the kettle without burning my hand or feeling like I can’t keep my hand on it long. With this being such a large kettle, if it is ever at capacity it may be difficult to handle.
The reason for the 4 stars is the display. It is very difficult to read and difficult to use.
I got the black kettle because I knew white base on white display would be a problem. I watched a few youTube reviews and only one review mentioned the display not being very bright. I knew it would be a problem but it was a compromise I was willing to make. It can be difficult to tell which buttons are currently selected because the back lighting goes from bright to slightly brighter. On a sunny day or when the lights are on in the kitchen it takes a few moments longer to read the display.
The second issue is the capacitive touch display, it’s not very responsive. Some times a light touch will turn the unit on and off, at other times a long press is required. Pressure should not be required but I can’t help mashing my finger on the display, then it seams to work. It’s really a crummy capacitive touch experience.
Another anoyance that I don’t really care that much about but someone else might is the filter. It is really pointless, maybe it would be useful for stopping a tea ball or tea filters from falling into a cup if you decide to brew in the kettle itself. The filter has wide gaps that won’t stop loose leaf tea. I ended up removing mine because I accidentally knocked it out of place while cleaning it and it was a pain to fix, while out of place it flipped forward and prevented the lid from closing. I sort of fixed it but it wasn’t in the exact spot it needed to be so the mechanism that moves it out of the way when the lid was open jammed and actually prevented the lid from closing. I decided to take it off and the lid closes correctly and I no longer have to deal with something I won’t use.
Those issues aside, this is a very nice kettle, it has all the features I wanted and I have used it daily, multiple times since I got it.
