    Easy perfect preparation of–so far–long grain white rice, short grain rice, American brown rice and oatmeal (porridge setting). If only it would give time to finish before the last few minutes, it would be a true genius. Easy cleaning and storage.

    This was purchased to upgrade my simple one click $20.00 rice cooker.

    This thing does cook rice the right way, brown rice, long grain, short grain etc you select the settings and it does its job correctly everytime.

    Only down side is the rice cooker is always on when left plugged in. It keeps the cooked rice warm FOREVER! you do need to unplug it from time to time when it’s not in use.

    It would make sense to have a timer option where it would shut off after set time.

    Overall it works, does the job real well.

    OH EM GOODNESS! Best rice we have ever made in 20 years+ of marriage. Wow, why did we wait so long. Had a nice zojirushi from 20 years ago that was so dented and beat up. It still worked but the nonstick surface was scratched up, we couldn’t replace that and we lost the scooper. Modern technology. So much easier to store, to clean, to use, and the rice is high restaurant quality.

    I actually sent item back. I though for the price it would be simple but it really wasn’t. I have a Tiger brand right now and it’s a no brainer! It also steams and this one does not.

    This rice cooker is so amazing. Perfect rice every time. It’s not super fast, but in reality, if you cook your rice, and then start to make your food… it’ll probably be done around the same time.

    It’s great, can’t say that enough. Good rice takes time, so you should know it will take 45 minutes plus depending on the rice. It’s easy to measure using the inside measuring lines. The only difficulty is if you are using basmati rice where you may have to adjust your water amounts yourself.

    This is the best rice cooker I have ever owned. The Zojirushi brand is the best on the market so the commitment to spend the extra money for this investment in a rice cooker was worth it. Although, it is a little bit bulkier than I expected, it’s this particular model that I really liked because it has smart & intuitive cooking features with it.

    That means that the heating of the food can be adjusted as the rice is cooking. This allows for perfect rice every time. Based on the reviews the quality of this device is strong and durable. Also with the handles it allows you to pick up the rice cooker to remove from its base in order to wash the rice or even clean the cylinder itself. This is a great product and I hope that it lasts the test of time. I really hope it does because I would love to keep this for the long-haul.

    I’ve had a $15 rice cooker for 3 years. It was simple to use and made inconsistent but edible rice. This one is on an entirely different level. Perfect every time. Masure, rinse, pour, start. And the rice will stay warm for hours without drying out or getting mushy.

    It is the cutest and most efficient rice cooker ever! I love using this to make many different meals when I need a big batch of white rice. The rice comes out perfect each time and you can chose how you want it cooked with the hard or soft settings. The fuzzy logic aids in cooking the rice to your liking if you don’t want to use those settings. I’ve had it for over 2 years and it’s like the day I opened it out of the box.

    This thing does it all. I use it almost everyday. It makes perfect rice every time no matter the quantity or type of rice. It is incredibly easy to clean and maintain. The ability to keep the rice warm for 4 hours is also very handy. Meal prep is so much easier when you don’t have to think about rice getting cold. I cannot say enough great things about this rice cooker!

    I tried to make brown rice with this rice cooker, and the rice came out very sloppy, I correctly adjusted everything to specifically make brown rice, and it came out awful.
