I really like this stabilizer. I got it just in time for Thanksgiving, so I had fun using it with my family at dinner and then later as we went out to the mall. It was very easy to set up and to connect my phone. Great product and highly recommended.

It’s a bit confusing to use with the different settings. It’s also slightly janky as far as motor controls. The gears tend to favor a vertical phone positions rather than horizontal. The worst part is most of the special functions require you to use the app like the tracking or pushing zoom effect. The app doesn’t have the flexibly of shooting like Filmic Pro does, plus you’re handing over your information to Chinese servers.

The gimbal is smooth as it is named after. But for me, I was not comfortable with the ground level shots. Battery back up is good. The clamp is strong to hold iPhone 14 Pro but is a bit extra strong if you need to pull your phone out for a phone call or text.

THE APP IS IN CHINESE.
I’ve tried to use this thing for that past two months and it’s simply not reliable. The software times out and drops the camera for no reason and after only a few minutes of filming. I wish I could return it, but I gave it too many chances to disappoint me. WILL NOT BUY THIS BRAND EVER AGAIN.

At first im not gonna lie was very excited about this one , was easy to set up and put together. ran very smoothly in the beginning thenafter downloading the app in the app store it recommended, the whole stablizer started acting weird and lights started flashing every since then the thing hasnt worked properly and i never dropped it or anything.

The Zhiyun Smooth Q-3 Gimbal is a major disappointment. Its design feels flimsy, and the built-in LED light is weak. The gimbal struggles to stabilize, causing shaky footage. The detachable tripod stand is equally unreliable. Overall, a frustrating and unreliable product. Save your money and invest in a more dependable stabilizer for your phone.

At first you need to get used to how to mount your phone and handle the gimbal. Being brand new to making videos, it was pretty good with room for improvement on my part.
