I am the first-time buyer for this type of gimble. I really need a reliable product for my camera and phone to capture the best moment in my life. I did research in YouTube. This caught my eyes. The battery lasts pretty long. I don’t worry about that in the whole day. I have used it for two months. No issue.

I have used it for a month. It is quite fit for my short lens Canon camera and allow to stay focus all the time when I am running. The outcome is similar to the recording from Drone: smooth, streaming and comfortable. Amazing! I love it.

This gimbal is AMAZING! It’s compact, lightweight easy to carry around. Really easy to set up with no brain pain! Great features with build-in LED light which good for low light environments . Also it’s fast charging and more runtime compared to others. Love this little monster! A MUST have for Vlog professionals. Very happy with this purchase, definitely recommend it.

I love the look and the bag it comes in the gimbal is compact and easy to use. This gimbal is very sturdy and lightweight. The gimbal must be balanced before you use You can easily do it yourself. I love this product.

I was comparing this between dpi ronin sc and finally go with this after tons of research. exceed my expectation. Have to mention that the display screen gets you well informed of the status and parameters of your camera and gimbal.

For the price it is grate. Although the motors can handle a bit more than the dji osmo’s for a phone it still has a bit of an issue with an iPhone 12 pro max which i think is a bit of issue. Did not want to put my sony camera on this unit due to it not being able to handle it. I think think this would work tremendously with lighter phones.

I needed a second gimbal as a companion to my Crane-M2. Since they’re now discontinued, I ended up trying out the M2 S. The fill light does wonders for using a GoPro in low light. The locking mechanisms are also much more practical for balancing and storage.

Dont be frustrated by set up. Skip the instructions and find a good youtube tutorial. Balancing it properly can take a little work at first, and make sure you get it right because the motors arent super strong on this. Its a great gimbal and it makes my unstabilized camera with unstabilized lenses look awesome. Tried with the Sony ZV E10 with Sigma 30mm, Sony 50mm, and Rokinon 12mm with no issues. If you find it below $200, just buy it. You wont regret it.

I wish these things were a bit more simple. The idea is great but when you start to operate something always seems to go wrong and it takes too much effort to figure out the problem. After few days it was a hassle to operatr and balance so i returned it.

Didnt connect to my canon rebel t7 so it was a waste sadly

I purchased this gimbal after a similar frustrating experience with the Crane M3 gimbal. While the M2S is lighter than the M3 and much more affordable, I continued to have the same annoying issues with both of them. For the record, I was using them with a Canon M50 and smaller Canon mirrorless lenses so the camera package wasn’t very big or heavy. Both gimbals got very good reviews for the M50 but not from me.
While the M2S handled the camera fine given its lighter weight, I thought the joystick control on both gimbals was just too fast and whippy. Even when changing the setting to a slower pan, it was still pretty fast.
However, the biggest fail for me with both units was the app, which would not connect to the M50, even though it has wifi and bluetooth. It’s clear that Crane wants you to have a Sony camera on it, not a Canon. And none of the included USB connector cables worked with the M50 as well. In fact, it caused the camera to lock up. The directions for the app are terrible and not intuitive. It also required you to create an account with Crane, which really bothered me.
Emails to Crane tech support never got answered and the phone number for the US support center did not work.
So the M2S did work as a balancing gimbal but would not let you work camera controls from it. I couldn’t justify keeping it.

This stabilized all my iPhone videos. Using this with the 14 pro max cinematic mode was great! This is my first time using a gimbal , so it wasn’t that easy. But after one YouTube tutorial that lasted about 10 minutes, I was a pro! Went to Disney and all the videos came out great!

It couldn’t handle my a6100 + 35mm 1.8 oss setup the gimbal would vibrate a lot
Erica –
I love it ! Very powerful and the percect size. Woukd recommend.

Get it for my kid for Christmas, he didn’t figure it out have to set it up for phone, he says too complicated
Bigpaco213 –
Honestly just go with the M3 I was so happy with the ms2. I can only imagine how much better the m3 would be. I paired this with my Sony a6000 & 16mm Sigma lens. A very heavy paring to be honest… maybe a lil to heavy. This is the max payload this stabilizer is capable of handling.
DariusM –
I may have to return it. I tried to set the gimbal up on the app and the app said the serial number was registered to another account. Its a good gimbal for mid to small sized dslr
ValdezD –
Good device but if you drop it or it gets knock over locks break easily
JohnfG –
The app is not good, outside of that I like the actual gimbal a lot. Get a better app and its 5 stars

I recently purchased the Canon R50. I wanted a compact, easy to use gimbal for walking around, B-Roll, and vacation video. It is simple to use and the gimbal record button functions via an included USB-C cable. It is strong enough to hold a camera and lens combo that is lightweight. I am very happy with this purchase.

Great gimbal for small cameras and cellphones. It is a little tricky to set up and balance. I wish it had a picture button for my Sony camera.
CesarR –
I used this gimbal for a couple months and no doubt is a big surprise, is a perfect balance between quality and price. I use my cellphone, camera and go pro without a problem.

I purchased this to create a video from my smartphone. When I opened the box, I saw that there was no smartphone holder in the box, despite the fact that they show the holder along with the cables and light filters (that are included) on the Best Buy website. Be warned – this product does NOT come with a smartphone holder. I spent a lot of time with Best Buy Customer Service, but the the result of all that was that I would have to buy the holder separately, and was told to “rest assured, they would work on my concern.” My concern being that the picture of the smartphone holder needs to be removed from this product listing, because they are misleading people.
With regards to the gimbal itself, it’s not the easiest thing to set up. I had to go to youtube to see how to get it balanced and ready to go. Unfortunately, until I actually get a smartphone holder, I have no idea if it works.
JayC –
In my personal experience with this gimbal. This gimbal is very hard to operate for beginners. The product overheats sometimes. If you have an iPhone 13 pro max with an Otter box case, then the phone mount does not fit, and we need to buy the phone mount separately
HelpMe –
I bought it, then returned it a couple weeks later. It’s a decent gimbal but my ZV-E10 with the stock kit lens was almost to much for it. When I put my 18-105mm lens on it, the gimbal completely died out. If you’re looking for a gimbal for GoPro’s and phones though, this will probably work for you.

good and cheap! works perfect!! it suited me perfectly!

I love using this to make music videos. It gets me into the video making vibe lol. A little annoying to setup but gets easier over time. Just watch a wuick tutorial video! App is good but has a lot of issues.
Juan –
Great quality as far as materials go, only rating 3 star because it couldn’t handle the full weight of my A7IV. Balancing was a bit of an issue.
AngelicC –
Compacted and easy to use I would recommend this item if you like quick and easy items .
weltz –
Good quality, easy to use and good deal for the price.
SaiM –
Easy to balance all 3axis and its a great gimbal for all kind of users (Not for heavy camera) Just small cameras and GoPro and phone
Branden –
I tried it with a canon R10 & I couldnt balance my camera on it. I went at it for 2-3 hours. I even looked at all their youtube videos. Nothing made it work. Unfortunately, I ended up returning the product. It looked very promising based on other reviews online.
Aldrynep –
easy to use and nimble. lightweight and very versatile.
RomeDawg –
Tried to connect with my Sony A7C. Everything worked except the capture video button. Not sure if this even has photo capabilities. Tried to get the capture button to work by connecting through bluetooth, wifi and USB . Went to youtube for assistance, nothing worked
Ziecid –
It’s great, love how minimalistic it is and very simple. It’s great for long trips and stable when recording.
Marc –
This product is not for beginners. I wish I had listened to the reviews. It’s very difficult to setup. I watched many YouTube videos, still no luck. Even took it back to best buy and had geek squad take a look at it. No luck. Geek squad couldn’t get it to work, so they just labeled it defective instead of taking time to try and get it balanced. I do not recommend this product.
John –
Excellent functions. Light weight. But little bit pricy.
OscarC –
It was as wonderful. It was a lil hard to set up best gift

The Zhiyun Crane M2S Gimbal Stabilizer is a content creator’s dream, seamlessly blending durability with a sleek design. Its 3-axis stabilization effortlessly turns shaky footage into cinematic marvels, and with intuitive controls, even beginners can master its functionalities swiftly. The added bonus of the detachable tri-pod stand, coupled with commendable battery life and compatibility with both cameras and smartphones, makes it an invaluable asset for both amateur videographers and seasoned pros. Highly recommended!

Helped stabilize stabilize my ĥands while shooting my grandchildren
NoelO –
This is not a beginner friendly gimbal it was difficult to understand and operate
IshmailP –
I love everything about it my camera was to heavy for i got a smaller lens to reduce the weight of it but the balance is still of i havr the sony A7ii
EnocM –
Smooth is the name of the game. Works well with my DSLR and my GoPro. I love it.
Lija –
Awesome very much needed if your in need of a lightweight gymbal get this one!
Dmoneylovesyou –
Works with my a7ii & 50mm prime Sony lens… but you will need more for heavier lenses. Better suited for smaller cameras beneath the full frame range. I do really like the magnetic gel light feature however! Creates interesting and eerie lighting effects.
DustinG –
Easy to use and balance for a beginner. I love this for my first one
Blkghost8 –
Not compatible with my Nikon DSLR. I had to return it. Was highly disappointed.
Kirab –
What a great purchase! Perfect for any small body DSLR or mirrorless camera. I use a Sony a6000 with a 16-45 mm lens. Perfect method. The event that I was at was about 4 hours, and it wasn’t until around the third hour that I had to think about charging it, but it charged in less than 20 minutes to 3/4 battery. Really great quality overall with simple instructions!
VanessaC –
Works well better than I expected bright light not too heavy
Ferdinand –
Its a little finicky to get set up and understand, but once you do get it working its really good, i do not reccommend cameras heavier than 500grams/ 1.1 pounds to be put on for maximum usage.
