    I don’t have any problems with the shield itself, it is putting it on that is a pain for me personally. I should have taken it to the store and asked someone to do it because I think I put it on wrong. Total operator error on my part, but it is something I’m sure I’m not the only person that has this issue. Other than that it seems to work well and time will tell about its endurance.

    DESIGN AND FEATURES:

    PERFORMANCE:

    I’m on my second screen protector and have had a lot of trouble. This item, on a Pixel 8 Pro, with a Mous or other low sided case is a horrible combination. The glass sits high enough up and the case low enough down that the glass catches on EVERYTHING and starts chipping and cracking around the edges. Pretty much the opposite of “ultra-strong”. It adheres great, smooth and good reaction to touch, no functional issues in that regard, but cracks super easy if your case does not come up over the edge of the glass. Will be looking for a more durable solution going forward. See images for reference.

    Lifetime warranty is nice, but a case will make the screen protector crack. Catches on my pocket knife and cracks it more than once with a magsafe style cheap case from the jungle site. I bought a quadlock case and it seems to be fine.

    Zagg has come a long way. Gone are the days of having to manually align the screen protector to your phone hoping that it will fit perfectly. Now they come with frames which you can insert your phone into making a prefect alignment as easy as can be. Great quality, highly recommend, but too expensive. $15-$20 cheaper would be far more reasonable for what you are getting.

    This was terrible. It’s overall about 1/4 of an inch to small to cover the screen. All in all, after the installation I had portions of the screen protector that were not covering the entirety of the screen. It did “install” easy enough, and I did have to remove the protector a time or two, because I honestly thought there was no way the protector was this small. I am taking it back to the store and hop e there are no issues with the return. Lets not mention that I bought the item one day and then it went on sale the next.

    The phone was never dropped or anything that I can think of yet the screen protector is cracked. Given the cost this is not acceptable. I have had a mobile phone. For years and never had a cracked screen protector before.

    ZAGG makes great screen protectors for my family’s devices. We’ve been using this brand for a couple of years now. Every time there is a bad drop, we see a crack but it’s only on the protector itself. Meaning the phone survives unscathed. This performs as advertised and is worth the money. This particular screen protector is for a Pixel 8 Pro and performs well! If the touch input is lagging because there is now a screen protector between your finger and the screen, the Pixel 8 Pro has a setting you can enable just for this situation. Go to Settings > Display and scroll down to enable “Screen protector mode”. The description of this mode is, “Increase touch sensitivity and improve touch when using a screen protector.” After enabling this, you will not notice the screen protector installed.

    I like that they include an alignment kit. It fits perfectly and is easy to do. The clarity is great. There’s no weird color artifacts like some cheap ones have when you tilt your phone to the side. The bubbles were easy to push out, and there was no dust. Sometimes I feel like the cheaper ones have dust on them from the factory, because no matter what I do I almost always end up with a tiny spec of dust. Thankfully, there was no dust on this one, or the Zagg that I had for my previous phone either.

    There is one minor improvement that can be made. I have mine fitted with an Otterbox Symmetry case and there’s a pretty big gap between the case and screen protector. They could make the screen protector just like half a millimeter larger on each side, and round out the edges too. Then it would be perfect. As it is, you can feel the rough edges when you do any swipe gestures.

    The main reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is the price. For $50, it’s gotta be perfect. With the cheaper protectors, I can excuse some of the imperfections. Plus it only comes with one screen protector, so if you mess up the first one, that is an expensive mistake.

    I’d still get another one.

    Cleaning kit included to clean your phone screen prior to attaching screen protector. Comes with an aligned to ensure the protector is even on all sides. Will have to turn on screen protector mode on your device though

    A smooth installation process with minimal gripes is always a great way to keep customers and have them buy from the same company. I can say that even with other cheaper screen protectors, they may not cost as much, but they crack or scratch more often than not against items that you have not even realized could scratch them. The Zagg screen protector, on the other hand, takes the hit and keeps going. Combined with a proper phone case, this screen protector will have no problems in keeping it safe.

    This is the only screen protector I will use. Whenever I get a new phone, I put one on immediately. Best Buy is the BEST place to purchase. If it cracks, just go into the store and they replace it immediately. Excellent product. Excellent service.
