This is a really nice and clean designed turn table.
The cartridge is fine and the turn table is worthy of the name , very nice tone arm and the anti skate mechanism is of excellent design even for the heavy cartridges(MMC),,

I purchased a Sony turntable from Best Buy that was defective and a replacement Sony turntable was no longer available. SO Best Buy recommended the Yamaha and they were right! It plays as good as it sounds and if you try it I think you will like it
