    I purchased the item as “new”….this was untrue. This RX 580 has been used. No PCB cover and no plastic on the gpu itself. Fingerprints on the plastic fan shroud and using a q-tip, i swabbed dust out from the back of the fan blades. If I was going to buy used items, i’d be on ebay. This purchase has pushed me away from Best Buy for future “new” gpu purchases.

    My sons gsming computer just stopped working. We took it into the Geek Squad and they confirmed it was a bad graphics card. The associate assisted in locating a good graphics card but in budget. Geek Squad put in the new one and its like new again.

    I know this graphics card is a bit dated in 2023 but I liked that it has 8GB to play with and I’m not playing the latest and greatest games at maximum settings with some supercooled thunder pc. I’ve got this card in an egpu enclosure that connects to a mini pc. It’s good enough to get some awesome performance! The only recent game I’ve tried it out with is Age of Empires 4 (released in 2021) on max settings and it doesn’t even blink.

    Maybe down the road I’ll consider ray tracing but at the moment, I’m loving what this card powers.

    For the cost, this card is a great value, it performs similar to a GTX 1060. If you are into light gaming and general surfing or streaming content, this card will work fine.

    Amd has made a very effective gpu for gaming resolutions of 1080p. I was able to stream geforce now 4k on windows just fine. So it shows it has the encoding.

    This card still holds up, even today. You’re not getting 200 fps on AAA titles, but it’s still a solid card. I’m able to pull a sustained 60 fps on Madden 24 with high settings on a 65″ TCL Roku TV.

    This is the first purchase I made to upgrade my computer. I did have a really small GPU and was surprised with how big it is. I did have to buy a new power supply because of the hook up it needs. And a new case due to the size of the GPU. But now I can play all the games that I want to and have no lag. I have not played that many games but I have played 7 Days to die and split gate. With the graphics card that I had before, I could not play either one of those without any lag. I am planning on trying call of duty once I get a better SSD card. But till then I have no complaints! And would recommend to friends and family.

    Initially built a gaming PC for my son with a G series i5 since it was nearly impossible to get a new GPU for MSRP.
    Before:
    PC would run most games on low to medium custom settings at 30-60FPS, with most of the bells and whistles off or at low. Trying to use OBS for recording would make some games really stutter and recording quality was low.
    Now:
    Games can be ran at highest settings, with the bells and whistles on and easily maintain 60FPS in most cases, and some games run at 90-100FPS, OBS quality is good and gameplay has no stutter or delay.

    If you’ve built a gaming PC in the last 2-3 years, without a GPU(integrated graphics) this is a “No Brainer” you are without a doubt going to see a major difference in performance,

    Software is pretty straightforward as well. Overclocking, fan settings, memory etc. We haven’t done any overclocking as it doesn’t seem necessary at the moment. This is pushing 1080-1440p HDR 175Mhz panels no problem.

    My personal computer is an iMac, I only use the PC for Velocidrone and OBS/editing video and it is night and day. Outside of adding more RAM, SSD and maybe the processor as time goes on, I”m confident this rig will run another 2-4 years with no issues.

    This was well worth price, and can be found on sale. In the words of my son “Oh this thing a beast now!’

    The actual only downside was having to open up the PC case and route the cables etc. and fitting it in while leaving all my other hardware in. Not a big deal really if you built the rig. After that though, smooth as butter.

    This is the worse video card I have ever used. It has been plagued with problem since I bought it. XFX support is slow to respond and has done nothing to address the problems with this card. The card is only 3 months old and to get warranty on it, I have to pay to send it to XFX. I would avoid this card at all cost. As you can see in the pictures, every time the computer puts the monitors to sleep, and I wake them, a monitor fails to start. I have to restart my computer to get the monitor working again.

    The device functioned correctly for an initial three-month period, but in the subsequent three months, I’ve been contending with unpredictable hard reboots. Upon installation in my son’s PC, the identical issues emerged. Currently, I’m in the process of initiating a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). It appears there are widespread reports of similar problems with this EFX card based on reviews. In contrast, my ASUS ROG RX-570 has exhibited no issues over the past three years.
