The Whynter 34 Quart Compact Portable Freezer Refrigerator is an excellent option for keeping food or whatever in a cold or frozen state. This was purchased specifically for keeping pharmaceuticals at a certain temperature. A secondary temperature/humidity probe has shown the temperature stays within 2 degrees Fahrenheit. I have used it in the house as AC powered and in the car as DC powered. The next planned use for it will be for picking strawberries and keeping these cool until being cleaned.

I’ve been testing this product last 2 days for an upcoming camping trip. It is very quiet and has manageable weight. It works fine.

The only negative or comment is that there is about 10 degree temp difference between the bottom and the top. I set the temperature at 5 F. The bottom temp reading is right at 5 F, but the top temperature is reading at 18 F. It is the understandable difference because there is no circulation fan.

I will update this comment after the trip.

Works very well. I keep in the garage on 110v, then load it up into the back of the truck for trips. Sucks very little juice as long as you chill it first, have had it plugged in to my truck for over half a day without starting the engine, and had no issues with battery drain.

I love this thing. We used it all last summer and fall. I would buy another if I had to.

Great car/camping fridge/freezer. I got this for 3 day overland camping. Testing it out at home. Plugged in the AC power, it lower from 78° to 34° within 5 minutes. I switched to DC power with an ecoflow pro battery. Two hours of usage with temp set 34° and room temp at 74°, it used 2% of the battery. When it is running, it shows 13.5 V on the fridge and range of 41-47 watts of consumption on the battery. Very quite. I tested with decibel meter, 46 decibel with compressor running. So far so good.

After getting tired of hotels that had no freezer and/or refrigerator, and liking my frozen strawberries for breakfast, I finally decided to get an actual portable freezer. Now, I did get before this an efficient ice chest, but finding a freezer to restore my ice packs was frustrating, and usually resulted in my frozen stuff to thaw out.
Now, this time, at the beginning of my trip, I found this portable freezer, and what a difference it has made! Now, with this working as my freezer, I can keep my strawberries frozen, and freeze/refreeze my ice packs for the cooler, keeping everything else fresh. This freezer has worked flawlessly, both in the hotel room, and in the car, keeping my set temp of 1 degree. When traveling, I do try to keep the sun off the freezer, and the sides open for the compressor to work. I really do not hear it working when driving, and only when the car is turned off, can I detect it is actually running. So, for my trip, it was running 5 days straight, with no problems. This will be with me for every trip from now on.
(As an aside: these aren’t normally in the stores. If you want one, order it well before traveling. I was able to find an open-box for a lot cheaper, and available 3 hours away. There weren’t ANY others for any price anywhere.)
