When I purchased this item I was advised by the salesman that I would get a 10% discount on the purchase if I signed up for a store card. I agreed. It took weeks for the store card to arrive and it turns out the 10 % discount can not be applied to this purchase but instead a future purchase. Trying to speak to a live person from Citi-Bank,N.A. is a lesson in futility. This is obviously a bait and switch. I will be paying off the card in full, cancelling the card and never shop at Best Buy again. A person with a little more tenacity and irritation may report your company to the Consumer Protection Division of the Maryland Attorney Generals Office.

I like this dishwasher except for one thing–all of the tines for the dishes are fixed, it would be nice to be able to put a row down for some larger items, That said, as long as you use rinse aid, the dishes come out sparkly clean and well dried.
Willy –
Product had issues with water flow due to install problems.
Playstation4 –
This dishwasher is so quiet that the first time we used it we thought it was broken. Lol. Cleans great!
Fridge –
It is so quiet, I had to open it to see if it was running. Cleans great.
NorthwoodsJuan –
This dishwasher does a great job. Our previous one left streaks and residue. Glasses come out spotless! Would recommend this dishwasher to anyone.
Tommy –
Very good dishwasher. There have not been any problems thus far. If there are problems in the future, I will certainly inform you.
Anna –
Very quiet, love the third rack. Dishes are very clean. Recommended.
Cupcake –
I love this dishwasher! Only great things to say about it! It is relatively quiet (not perfect, but tolerable for the price point). It does a great job of cleaning the dishes, even in the short 2 hour cycle. I love the little drawer on top to put knives and other utensils.
Orazio –
Pretty expensive on my opinion but one of the best brand worldwide
Applianceguymn –
Very quiet and a very efficient washing cycle. Highly recommend.
Jasakmyers –
Very quiet! I replaced the original dishwasher that was installed when the house was built. That dishwasher was so loud that I couldn’t stand it. I haf to walk into the kitchen to make sure it was running.

horrible horrible horrible brand. Whirlpool is really an inferior brand. American companies should be ashamed of themselves with these products. Every single Whirlpool appliance I bought from Best Buy has broken down or DEAD within 15 months of purchase. Getting service from Best Buy is like trying to take raw meat out of a gator’s jaws
jrdwestphal –
This will get almost anything clean with the right detergent. I love the third rack and everything fits well. It’s only drawback is that it takes so long on a normal cycle 2 hr 40 mins. But, it does get messes clean and mostly dried.
NewDishwasherinapinch –
The machine cleans well but is not very quiet and it takes too long for a full cycle.
Srpiccollo –
So far so good. We have only used it a week but so far it is quiet and cleans well. I really wanted the white but since it wasn’t in stock anywhere we’re had to get the stainless steel. 🙁
If anything changes as far as the performance I will update this.
Trisha –
Very happy with this purchase. This was the last appliance to come in after waiting months and now our kitchen is complete with all Whirlpool items. Machine is very quiet eve when I’m standing net to it. Has 3 running wash times. The 3rd rack is a nice surprise, as I didn’t even know it was a thing. And the stainless tub looks as good inside as it does outside.
Tnt74 –
Love this dishwasher so far. Works great. Looks great also
Ryan –
Works as expected. Only have had a month or so but nothing negative to say at this point.
OldDIYman –
Good machine. Very quiet, have to go see if running. Cleans very efficiently using Cascade pods. Would recommend top control only because small numbers on display, requires you to almost kneel down to read.
CRBaker –
So quiet. Especially compared to our previous model.
DrumTech311 –
This thing really washes dishes. Like almost like it was designed to do this or something.
Kevin –
We like this dishwasher a lot. Plenty of room, has a third rack we’re getting used to using. All of the features you would expect from a new dishwasher. Runs pretty quietly compared to our last dishwasher, but you’ll know it’s on when it’s running.
PewPewPete –
This dishwasher was recommended by our plumber. Within 24 hours the spring in the door had stopped working. Now when you pull the top shelf out, it falls out of the wheel in the track arm. I wouldn’t buy it again.
OpheliaM –
Solid performing dishwasher with some higher end features like the third rack and interior stainless steel. It is ugly to behold with the black strip and I wish the buttons were concealed. It is also louder than many competitors. We purchased it because the bottom could be opened to route the water line for our application where the dishwasher was not adjacent to the sink.
Jo2020 –
Runs very quiet. The first 2 times i had to go into the kitchen to see if it was working. Cleans great.
DHoffman715 –
From the first, I’ve been disappointed with this dishwasher overall. It’s louder than I expected, the top rack is stiff and squeaks when rolling it in/out, and it just doesn’t have a high quality feel to it. And now, after having it less than 6 months, it has stopped working. It still fills and drains, but just sits there in between, so I’m guessing the main pump has gone out. No error code or anything, so apparently it doesn’t realize it’s broken… I expected more from this brand and price point.
It’s still under warranty, but the earliest I was able to schedule someone to look at it is over 2 weeks out! So I’m without a dishwasher for 2+ weeks minimum, and who knows what it’ll take beyond that to actually get it fixed.
Once the whole warranty process is complete, I’ll update this review based on how that goes.

three stars only because of delivery date and time. was given one date and time and on day before delivery and set up all was changed to another day.
Osben –
I am impressed with this product because it is serving the purpose why I bought it and it is power efficient.
Jose –
I got it last Saturday 9/25 and installed it yesterday Sunday 9/26. I think cycles are longer than my old dishwasher (10+ years kitchenaid), however it makes sense since this is an energy efficient dishwasher. I use to run a load per day in the night so cycle time is not that critical for me. For very first load/cycle (last night), I used sensor with sani-rainse and I am happy with the results.

This is for my Whirlpool WDF590SAJM dishwasher. It’s a very good dishwasher. I have a Whirlpool WDT730PAHZ in my mother’s house. That one does a good job and seems quieter, but it’s under a granite counter. This one is quiet too. The third rack is shallow. It’s fine for large knives, spoons, spatulas, kitchen scissors, etc. It won’t fit anything higher than about two inches though. No bowls or anything deep. It is handy for odd shaped items that aren’t too thick. The second rack adjusts up and down easily. The racks are easy to load and leave enough space between dishes to get things clean. We had a Samsung that fit a ton of dishes, but they were so close together nothing got clean. Even spacing things out, the Samsung was terrible. This one does show fingerprints, but it’s not a big problem wiping them off. The controls are easy to use and the cycles and options are fine. The one hour cycle works well. The other cycles take two hours or more but all the dishwashers are like that now. We mostly use the sensor cycle. I don’t rinse things before loading the machine. Everything comes out clean. Very thick burned on stuff might not all come off, but no dishwasher will do that. The light dry option leaves a little water here and there. Regular dry gets things dry. Overall I’m very happy with this dishwasher. Apart from not having a third rack, the WDT730PAHZ is just as good. In hindsight, the third rack is handy sometimes, but I wouldn’t pay a lot more for it.
Jules –
We have been completely satisfied with the purchase of this dishwasher. As well as the in-home installation and haul away of our old dishwasher.
Amjam –
Seems to be working well, although the detergent lid that slides over broke already. Looking for a replacement. Cheap plastic pieces. Seems to clean well. Not drying all that great but I’m not surprised, I’ve never had a dishwasher dry well.
Rochreview –
We love this dishwasher! The flexibility of the middle rack going up and down and the top tray really separate this dishwasher from others in the same price point.
Andrew –
Cleans well overall. The third rack is not very useful. It is so high that even most spatulas won’t fit. It takes up just enough room that taller bottles and cups that used to fit in a normal dishwasher don’t fit unless you lower the second rack. But then the plates on the bottom rack block the sprayer arm. I ended up removing the third rack and no longer use it. Also, there is no soak option that many Whirlpool dishwashers have. This is a feature I assumed would be on such a nice dishwasher, but I guess not. Like I said though, it does clean well on its normal setting. Drying is below average. My old basic dishwasher used to dry better than this one.
Natwastaken –
I like the look of this dishwasher, the third rack is nice to have. My only issue is it doesn’t dry the dishes well even with the heat dry setting on.
Corsair –
Dishwasher itself does the job and good quality. The only minor I have is the top rack mid rack which the parts that holds it seems cheap and already had to replace with Amazon parts. It’s a great dishwasher but at this price I would not expect to have these issues with cheap plastic that breaks in a month.
Kingpin –
What can I say. It does a good job washing dishes. Still leave me water on it a little like all new dishwashers now a days. Miss the old dishwasher but this one does the trick.
Abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxz –
Enjoy, however top drawer slide out piece has broke within a few months of owning.
mrdave –
Great value and easy controls and clean dishes!
Nice look!
Wheely –
Habe had tp replace alot of rack parts and dispenser
garyjor –
Nice Quality, great price, great value. What’s not to like?
Ruslan –
Whirlpool very good brand, extra 3rd rack.I like very much.
CharM –
Better add the Geek Squad protection plan to the actual cost of this dishwasher. Purchased this in Feb 2021, and I’m on estimated 21 minute hold with Geek Squad right now (July 2022) because the motor isn’t working.
tcvair –
This was a replacement for an existing dishwasher. I purchased it on sale and for the price, it was a good purchase. The only knock on it is that it seems louder.
Jewel20 –
i bought this dishwasher to replace the old one that came in the home i bought. it is really quiet. dishes come out amazingly clean
Nitrorn –
I don’t want to put a low rating since I never got to actually use it so I will just keep it at 3 stars. When it was delivered everything seemed fine. The box was not damaged in any way however when I went to install it I noticed the frame at the bottom was damaged and bent. This must have been a quality issue from the manufacturer. Contacted Best Buy and we were able to exchange for a GE which has worked great.
Mskina27 –
We’ve had our dishwasher for 2 years now without incident! It’s quiet, easy to use and gets our dishes clean. We love the stainless steel interior and it’s so spacious.
DawnU –
This dishwasher is crap!! The dispenser would not stay closed, racks never rolled out smoothly and pulled off the wheels. This is not covered since the top rack is not necessary. The rubber strip inside comes out. I have never had a dishwasher with so many problems. The repair person that came out was useless.
SheriH –
Based on our experience, don’t buy this one. We’ve had it for 2 1/2 years. The racks started coming off the rails after about a year (just outside of the warranty time frame) and we are consistently having to realign them. This week the rubber sealant that keeps the water from leaking out came apart so we now have to pay to have this repaired. Thought we bought a decent dishwasher, but it hasn’t performed well and would not repurchase.
