    I like how dry my clothes get in a short amount of time, I use softener sheets and I noticed that there is still some static cling with some loads other than that I love my dryer for the price.

    For starters, I must admit we’d been going to the laundromat for the past year due to our old dryer breaking down on us So we were desperate to have anything that would work! However, being the frugal shopper I am, I cost-compared, and no other place could beat Best Buy’s price on this item. Even with a full warranty, it was still more affordable than “the other guys” dryer of the same make and model. So, I set it up to have it delivered. They actually came out on Christmas Eve to deliver it! The delivery men were nice and extremely thorough. We now happily have a working dryer that suits our family just fine – and the price was certainly right.

    Our old Whirlpool dryer went out, and instead of fixing it (it was almost 25 years old!), we decided to get a new one. This was one of the lower priced models, but it works great. It runs fairly quietly, and dries clothes very quickly. It has a good dryness sensor – even with jeans and other heavy materials. I would buy this again…

    This dryer finishes a load of towels in 45 mins. And that it coming out of a non-high efficiency washing machine. Can’t wait to hook up the new HE washer. Our last dryer took 1.5 hours to dry a load of towels before burning out.

    I owned whirlpool washer and dryer for 10 years they finally gave up and I purchased this new set … They are loud, noisy and have torn up my towels … Luckily not my clothes but that’s because I have used the delicate cycle. I called Whirlpool for the manufacturers warranty, which I’m within the time and the service provider they use does not work on Saturdays, they only have days until 5pm and I cannot take time off work nor have someone here to wait for them to arrive from 8 to 12… this shouldn’t be happening in less than 4 months.

    We have always had a traditional washer with the agitator so when I purchased this one, it was definitely an adjustment. It wasn’t difficult to hook up and install, but we thought we did something wrong when the machine didn’t start right away. The machine “senses” how much water is needed for the amount of clothes you’ve put inside. It takes it a minute so be patient. The lid locks so you just have to trust that there is enough water inside to thoroughly wash your clothes. The first load I felt like I didn’t use enough detergent. What I did was put detergent at the base, then loaded all the clothes all around leaving the middle visible. After that and because I’m a fragrance addict, I added more laundry detergent on top of my clothes. Oh, by the way, you NEED a downy ball since there is no place to put your softener.

    The machine makes some strange noises at first, but then I think it’s fairly quiet. Overall I’m pleased with my purchase.

    We purchased this dryer to replace a Samsung dryer. This dryer seems to be made well. Our only dislike would be the lint trap. It is on top which is good, but often makes a little mess when you clean it off.

    Great dryer with all the features we were looking for. Drop down door works great as a folding table. Drys a load of heavy denim in about 45 minutes and is done without having to run for extra time.

    We picked this up ourselves instead of delivery. The dryer ended up falling off the back of the truck on the thruway, it was then dragged to the shoulder and put back and the truck. Got it to my house, thought it was garbage ready…… BUT, nope, hooked it up and it works like a charm. Looks 50 years old and like it was dropped off a truck, but this thing works great. Would recommend to anyone. Thumbs up Whirlpool. You made my bad day, a not so bad one. Thanks

    I got this dryer because I have the matching washer from the PSE program, and I got a great price from Best Buy. I didn’t realize how lame my old dryer was until I used this one. It handles the large loads that the washer produces, and in a reasonable amount of time. The great part is that the sensor ends the cycle when the clothes are perfectly dry: not a little damp, not crackling with static–just dry. Nice product.
