    Great product, so far (2 months). VERY quiet, lots of drying options, large capacity. Replaced a 31-year old Kenmore (still working). I’ll be happy if this Whirlpool lasts half as long as my old dryer. Only complaint (?) is: display shows “time” that dryer should run, but if you put on ” touch up” or certain other settings, the run time is considerably less due to dampness sensor technology…only a problem if you are trying to time it so you can promptly remove clothes to avoid some wrinkling (minor issue).

    I replaced my 5 year old dryer with this model (and bought a new washer as well). It’s a definite improvement in technology – the sensors and the multiple options for drying are very nice to have. What I really like as well is how quiet it is, and that it also will handle bulkier items easily.

    Purchased this product (along with set washer) back in October. Very user friendly, dries clothes perfectly according to settings, which there are just enough of. Lint trap does get a bit crazy sometimes after just one load, but I have dogs so that is to be expected. As long as your clothes are under the appropriate setting, there is no need to run for extra time which is great.

    Delivery service would not hook it up. Second item we bought from bestbuy that their delivery company found a reason not to hook it up. They look for a reason not to have to do it and I almost got the same feeling from the sales person in the store. Then they left and I realized they hinged the door on the wrong side. Went to the store and told them to come pick it up. Will never buy an appliance from bestbuy again. Funny thing is we went and bought the same exact dryer from Sears and they hooked it up no problem… Dryer does work good. Review on the dryer is good… On store is bad.

    Excelloent choice. Got the lowest price from Best Buy for this outstanding dryer. Easy to use settings. Everything the ad says it is and more. The dryer compliments the Cabriolet Platinum Washer. Together they make a beautiful matching pair. Highly recommended for someone who is looking for a great dryer at a very reasonable price.

    We bought the matching set (Whirlpool – Cabrio Platinum 4.5 Cu. Ft. 11-Cycle High-Efficiency Top-Loading Washer ) and since the washer uses less water and the clothes come out dryer, then dryer rarely runs for 30 minutes to dry a load of clothes. Love it!

    Replaced my old whirlpool dryer that actually survived a flood back in 2010 here in Nashville. This new Cabrio model dries my clothes very good so far. This is my 3rd whirlpool dryer. The brand is very dependable. My 1st one lasted 13years. I would highly recommend this product.

    Was looking for a basic dryer with a large capacity to accommodate a king sized comforter. I rarely use most of the functions on my current dryer so I wasn’t really in need of too many bells and whistles on a new one. This dryer has all the functions and cycles that one might want and it accommodates very large loads including a king size comforter. Most loads dry in less than half the time of my previous dryer. I’m saving a lot of time and energy with this new model.The king comforter typically needs to be removed and fluffed after the first cycle, with a little extra time added to completely dry the very center, however, this is the only time I have needed to do this. All other loads dry within the allotted time. Very pleased with this purchase. I was surprisingly quite pleased with the smoothness of our overall transaction. The delivery company called ahead and the men who delivered the dryer were timely, careful and professional. Definitely consider this dryer from Best Buy.

    Maytag cabrio platium 8800YC1 Plus told sales man. W/D could not go past 55 inches. 2 together was 1 1/2 too big Past 5 yrs now the ignitor sensor to heat dryer has gone bad AGAIN!!!
