I installed this double oven myself, with some help lifting into the cabinet with my father-in-law. It is a great oven with an awesome look and easy to use. The Best Buy delivery guys were professional and had the oven in our home quickly and on the spot where we request them to leave it.
The oven itself preheats quickly and is very quiet compared to our old Whirlpool oven. The ovens bake evenly and handled our Thanksgiving dinner needs with ease. I was impressed how evenly cooked everything was, from vegetables to meats to desserts.
I find the touchscreen easy to use and pretty standard in relation to tablet and phone operating systems. Setting the temperature takes mere seconds, and once you have gotten used to the options it is really not an issue to use. I find light pressure on the screen to suffice.
My wife downloaded the app for the oven. It was easy to connect to our wifi and the app allows her to set the temperature from her phone if she wants. It also notifies you when it is ready, which I think is not too useful, but maybe for some who are in another part of the house when it gets preheated.
The oven light is plenty bright. The lights turn on in both ovens when you press the button for the lights. It is easy to see what is cooking and if it is browned or not.
The oven racks move easily. Each oven comes with three racks, and the oven have plenty of space for multiple items.
The soft close doors are awesome. Nice to know the doors won’t slam when you accidentally let the door go when closing it.
The only thing that has been annoying is the oven clock would reset itself to GMT time every few days. I found a solution online – In the app you can turn off the auto setting for the clock, so that it won’t set the time with your router. This way the time that you set on the oven will stick. I don’t know why it resets to GMT, but I would guess it doesn’t communicate properly with the router for some reason.
This is a great oven with nice features and worth the price we paid. I hope it is durable throughout the years as well!

After 3 years, control panel failed in lower oven, Convection does not work well. Over priced and Whirlpool does not stand behind the quality of their product.

The motherboard on my old double oven crashed and I had to get a new one 2 days before Christmas! After some fast and furious research we decided on the Whirlpool double oven, mainly because we knew it should fit the opening we had.
I love the oven and cooked Christmas and New Years dinners in it. I discovered it was running a little cool, as things were taking longer to cook than I was used to. I got an oven thermometer and Whirlpool enables you to calibrate the oven yourself–NO repair call. The temperature is now spot on! I do not have it connected to WiFi–I don’t really see the need for that.
Overall, I’m very happy with it, and it looks great!

Didn’t work right out of the box. Contacted Whirlpool because I was already outside Best Buy’s 15 day exchange window. They sent a technician out who replaced one of the fans, which corrected the problem. Now it works like a charm. The technician said he’s this model have that issue pretty often. Love the smart capabilities to turn the oven on from my phone.

I am highly disappointed in this product so far. My oven hasn’t worked since it was installed. It took 2 weeks to get an appointment with a Whirlpool tech after contacting Whirlpool. The tech said the upper fan was faulty and he needed to order the part. Well I currently am still waiting for the part to come in and the technician to install it. For the price of this oven it is ridiculous to be faulty from the get go. It makes me worry about how long this product will last if it already has issues from day 1. From reading other reviews it seems like this is a known issue with these ovens and by now you would think Whirlpool would get their stuff together and fix the issue. No one wants to buy an oven and not even get to use it for weeks after installation. If and when my oven gets fixed I will update my review; however so far my rating is very poor.

The smart features of this oven “Scan to Cook” are EXTREMELY Limited. I don’t even get it. I try to scan everything, but only a handful of items are in their UPC library and it makes no sense. Major national brand things like Chicken nuggets and Pizza rolls won’t scan, but oddball store brand items will. Next the heat is inconsistent and you need to consistently have to turn your food (Pizza, Lasagne, Cassaroles) and pans (Cookies, Cupcakes and other Bakes Goods) so that the entire item or batch of items will get evenly cooked. The rear of the oven is where the hot spots are.

I thought it would be cool to spend more and get a techy oven. Boy was I wrong. First, the panel started to glitch and Wi-Fi kept dropping. The panel kept restarting making the oven inoperable unless I turned off the Wi-Fi. It took 5 months for a replacement panel to come in. Two weeks after a new panel, the screen is defective and Whirlpool is not replacing the screen. Wasted $3,000 on this junk. Worst customer service!! Do not buy this oven and go with a different brand. Never again Whirlpool!

This thing’s just out of warranty and had to be repaired twice already. The repair is about 1800.00 and will have yo wait on parts as well as an appointment schedule. It is all because of the “SMART” Tech. The main board and keypad keep breaking for no reason!

Once I dropped the Alexa Sync – no issues. Also great price on clearance and open box so I purchased the extra 5 year warranty to be safe.

I will NEVER get anything from Best Buy again. We are trying to get a double oven for our new home. The first one arrived with a shattered bottom door. The replacement arrived with a shattered top door. Somewhere between the 2nd oven door shattering, the oven was discontinued and we were never notified. We are now trying to get a comparable oven. Because this IS NOT our fault, Best Buy should pay the $200 difference between the ovens if for no reason than we weren’t contacted about the disconuation of the original oven.
We have called and left messages for GAIL in MN for over a week. Her answering machine says she will return our call and she is the office until 5 each day. She hasn’t returned the call for 5 days now. We are currently working with corporate. Their paperwork says they refunded our money and our account is zeroed out. Where did the money go??? We paid cash. This is ridiculous. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BEST BUY!!!
