    Very happy with this refrigerator. We like the smudge-proof finish on the doors. This replaces a French-door refrigerator which I found inconvenient: having to move everything around in the freezer to find what I wanted. The counter-depth model is fine as there are only two of us.

    The refrigerator has been good so far. It’s a little louder than our previous Kenmore refrigerator, but it does not show fingerprints too badly and the counter depth is great. We had a major problem with delivery however. It was purchased in store and delivery set up for a specific date. When the date arrived we heard nothing. We finally called after lunch to inquire about delivery time. We were told it was not coming and would not be delivered for another week! We had already moved our other fridge to our basement and therefore had no refrigerator in our kitchen for over a week.

    After a few issues with a damaged refrigerator and delivery we finally received our refrigerator and it is working great. The second delivery and install was perfect. Customer service was very understanding and handled my issues and concerns quickly and professionally.

    I would give a 0 if it was possible. Everurhing you could imagine went wrong with this purchase. From drlivery to the product performance. Unfortunately, the item we purchased was defective after several attempts to get it working and setup.

    I’ve had this fridge for about 3 weeks and my only complaint is that it is noisy which takes some adjustment. The compressor on the fridge may be smaller and as a result, it runs constantly. It is quite for about one and half ours in increments. On a positive note, I like the size and the elegant look. I purchased two additional shelves for the freezer side and one additional clear bin for the fridge door. When the fridge was delivered, the truckers overlooked leveling it, so I called Best Buy Geek Squad who came out and took care of it. Now I can open the fridge door without it rolling towards me.

    Spacious for side-by-side refrigerator. Takes a while to hit temperature. Has good water dispenser features. Watch the fridge temperature setting.

    My refrigerator is not even 3 months old and this will be the 3rd time I am having it serviced. The ice maker makes more frost than ice. The filter was so loud you could hear it through the entire house until they replaced it and now not even 3 months old it has stopped cooling. It is a piece of garbage. My family urged me to return it at the beginning but I wanted to give it a chance. DONT BUY IT.

    Had the same unit delivered two separate times and both leaked at water line connection in door. I wound up paying to have it fixed because Geek Squad came out on several occasions and never fixed the issue.

    Purchased this refrigerator less than a year. This is the second time the handle on the left door is coming loose. Today I called for someone to come out and they are unable to do so telling me about warranty….not eve a year old. Like my other items purchased in a bundleI I paid in full. Don’t wast your money, disappointed!

    Overall a really good unit. Freezer could use another shelf and drawer. The ice dispenser is pretty loud but works great. The control panel is easy to use. The water also tastes great so it’s a good filter system. I do love the fridge side. I love the look and everything stays nice and cold. Best But had the best deal. Delivery men were awesome, hooked it up for me and hauled away my old unit. The delivery window was wide but they called on the day of and narrowed it down. They were courteous and respectful of me and my space.

    This is the second time i had this delivered. The first one was very noisy. Second one is also noisy and both of the ice cube makers clump the ice together. In order to turn it off, you have to take out the icemaker container, shut it off and put container back in. I have never had a fridge with the noise.

    Absolutely stay away from this refrigerator!! After five years the ice maker quit working. After some research I found out that due to a design error the electrical harness that runs into the freezer door at the base of the unit is too short. So every time you open the door it stresses the wires until they finally break. A repair person for a national repair company said that the problem was pretty common with this refrigerator. The repair solution is to install a new door which would cost about a thousand dollars. I contacted Whirlpool and they refused to acknowledge that there is a design problem and offered a small discount on a replacement purchase. After this experience, why would I buy another one from them?

    Frig leaked where filter is due to installers. It was fixed. Installers dented the door with foot pushing it into space. Also cars led stone in courtyard. Didn’t notice till next day. Every time I look at the door, I’m annoyed. That’s a lot of money for a damaged item!!

    Had this fridge for 2 weeks and decided it was just too loud for us. The ice maker makes a ton of noise, and sounds like someone is trying to break into your house when it drops the ice. The motor is loud. If this is for your garage, then it would be fine, but it’s pretty loud for an appliance inside the home. We ended up returning it and getting a different refrigerator all together.

    This is my third Whirlpool side-by-side refrigerator-freezer combo. Generally I have been happy with this brand.
    My complaint is with the lack of freezer shelves provided. It was missing at least two shelves. I called customer service and found out that it was not a mistake. According to the agent, Whirlpool does not include all shelves in order to provide “options for storage’. HUH!. I had to pile my frozen foods onto two shelves which caused those items to slide out when the door was opened, And there was a massive about of space that was left unused. (There is only so much that can efficiently be piled on a shelf.) There was no option to purchase the missing shelves! I lived with this mess until I could no longer handle it. So I was able to find shelves of a similar width on Amazon but the length short. Anyway my freezer is now somewhat organized and easier to find what I need without everything sliding out.
    Whirlpool should correct this defect!
