This is a decent fridge from Whirlpool, it cools and freezes well. However, all of the areas that a customer touch (handles, etc.) feel rather cheap. The doors don’t close very securely without paying attention to how much force is used when closing them.

The over all appearance is very nice and very classy, but the ice maker after Few months makes very loud noise and ont one the repairmen came to say the ice maker is broken
After that he said if he comes back for a second time to repair we will pay again which is still on warranty,now I have to buy again a very simple one costing $700 to replace this frenchdoor fridge.I’m sad that very nice and expensive broke so fast , this is the 3rd fridge that I bought in just a few months interval

The refrigerator is great. The experience, awful. I originally bought delivery and installation and removal of my refrigerator with this. Then I found a friend that could do it for me quicker. Instead of canceling the whole thing out and just charging me again for the refrigerator, (Which is what they said they were going to do ), They only credited me for a couple of the items. They keep saying they credited me for all of the items, but they did not. It doesn’t show up on my credit card.

Purchased refrigerator from in-store returned/damaged. The packing had been removed and there was a small dent in the freezer drawer. The price was discounted and a little further discounted for Labor Day. Have had it 2.5 months.
I have an old house with a very small opening – 32″. This is one of the few that fit at 30″ wide. It replaced a side-by-side. This one does NOT hold as much in the refer as the side-by-side did.
One minor issue: The wire arm you lower or raise to have it make ice or not sometimes sticks in the up position. It raises and lowers every time you open or close the freezer door. It has done it enough that the ice tray has never totally filled, but we’ve never ran out of ice-notice the ice is getting low. I may add a small weight to the wire.
Longevity is unknown. Our side-by-side lasted 28 years before the door seals and hinges began to fail.

The condenser motor failed 1 year 9 months after purchase. Contacted Whirlpool who sent a tech out to repair the motor at the cost of $400.00. (Not accounting for all the lost food) The tech also crimped the water line for the ice maker and cold water feed causing water damage to the kitchen floor and drop ceiling in the basement. Unlike the picture there is no footer cover provided by the installer.

Our space really dictated our refrigerator choices. We were replacing a 20 yo SS bottom freezer refrigerator. That GE had the worst icemaker, we had to replace 3 times. I’ve always been happy with my previous Whirlpool refrigerator icemakers. This one has an awesome freezer space and I really like the water on the outside of the door. The in freezer icemaker is fast and makes large cubes constantly. The interior refrigerator shelves are pretty limiting to rearrangement. Also the crisper drawers are on the low end, and barely close all the way.
The BB delivery people and scheduling was awesome.

Trust Whirlpool, Great French Door Fridge at a great price for the small space size that I have. This item was labled good condition but to me it easily could of been tagged Excellent. With the Frighe on top freezer on the bottom works really well for me, most items are easy to see and grab versus fridge on bottom, one I got rid of. No bending my head or body down is a plus. Fresh filtered water really handy. This was my 2nd item I had purchased at the outlet during this year and along with the Assocites and their service, It all Rocks there.

Bought an open box version of this and it turned out to be defective. Yes, when plugged in it would turn on and appear to work properly. However, it would not cool, make ice, or dispense water. Driving an hour to end up buying a dud was aggravating. So I called customer service to complain and kindly ask for a coupon code towards an exchange and they denied me. On their website it said that I needed to call their phone number, not the store in order to discuss defects, damages, returns, exchanges, etc., INSTEAD OF THE STORE. But when I did the CSR told me I needed to talk to the store manager in order to negotiate a discount on my next purchase…ugh. I know that open box rules are a little different but still, I feel I’ve been treated inconsistent with the rules. I feel like my time is being wasted and I am getting the run around. For that I can’t get like a measly 10-15% coupon code?! Give me a break…

Great fridge, the smaller footprint allows this French door to fit in a standard smaller fridge cut out which is what I needed. Ice production in the freezer and filtered water on the door is awesome. My only complaint is occasionally thing freeze in the fridge no matter where we have the temp set at. That could be user error just because we pack this thing up pretty tight!

It does its job and is a good fridge. I agree that shelves are smaller and close together hard to fit certain items like milk and larger condiments. Also wish that the left door closed easier and that there was an alert that said of the door was ajar.
