I like the microwave itself, it works well at heating up my stuff. The only issue I had with it was installation. The size of it was a little bigger than my hood range, things did not align up with my cabinet that I was hanging on. This made me have to add an new outlet, cut extra holes, add shims to get it to fit and it also hangs a little further out. If you don’t know what you are doing, this might not be the microwave for you, but I am happy with it after the hard work my family and I did to get it to fit. It looks great and matches my kitchen.

This microwave is the PERFECT size to allow required clearance. I owned one in a prior home & love it. That being said, you can’t cook a 20 lb. turkey in it, but it’s great with smaller items. I believe the inside height is 7″ – which is fine for me.

You know that thing when your microwave heats your plate or bowl to be hotter than magma, but somehow leaves your food colder than Antarctica? Well that ain’t an issue with this microwave my guy. This microwave is fantastic. Warms your food, and not just your dishware. It’s also sleek, low profile, and has wonderful sounds instead of annoying beeps. No more waking up the fam during 3AM munchies, am I right?! Hehehe. Anywho, this things great. You should buy one.

Love this microwave! It is everything we’d hoped for, and then some. Super quiet and efficient. The only complaint is that when it goes off at the end, you can’t hardly hear the bell. Other than that, it is awesome and very attractive.

It’s really expensive for just a slim look because the rest is basic and the chime is low.
(We moved into a home that didn’t have a microwave over the range. The cabinets hang lower than usual, so we needed a “low profile” microwave to meet the safety standard for above the range. We would definitely return this for something cheaper if we had more options.)

it should have 4 ‘wheels’ not 3. Getting better at operating this unit, but my GE was
much easier. BUT, I needed a low profile , so i will eventually get better at operating this new unit.

So far, I am quite satisfied with my Whirlpool low profile microwave. It was bit more money that similar models however this model has keypads on the exterior compared to other models where you have to open the door to access the keypad. Also it has metal underside while other models had a plastic bottom which would be hard to keep clean. It is easy to use, very sleek looking, and looks like it is built in appliance. The only negative thus far is the exterior bottom light is not very bright. BB installers did a great job installing the microwave and 110 outlet.

The Whirlpool was the perfect over the range microwave solution for me. I did vent it vertically through the existing vent stack and the 2 speed fan does a very good job of removing fumes & steam.
The LED light also is a much appreciated feature.
The microwave cooks very good and build quality is great.

It took way too long for this to be sold at a reasonable price, got it on sale for $389.99. Seriously, $567 is extortion just because it is a specific use case item. Price aside, it has been great so far! Plenty of room for anything to fit and we regained a lot of countertop space! Vent works great and it just looks great hanging over the range! Very happy with the purchase!

I recently moved to a house thst had a cabinet over the stove that is taller than most. This cabinet over the existing 1984 (!) built-in was so low It made it impossible to see the controls on the stove without bending down. This microwave is perfect. It’s 4-5 in. shorter and allows for easy viewing of the stove. Inside clearance is 6-7″, but width is similar to most microwaves. Everyone who sees it is fascinated by the low profile. I would highly recommend! Plus it has a very nice chime when done.

Nice for a low profile microwave. I like having more space on the stovetop. Few things. It only has one vent pick up underneath and it’s located towards the back of the unit closer to the wall so doesn’t pick up steam from front burners very well.
Also, if using the timer, can’t seem to also heat stuff up simultaneously. Overall happy as I wanted the space. Works well for heating foods.

It looks good and seems well made. The vent fan is a bit loud but works well and the filters are easy to change. The system for installing the unit is well designed. After watching a few utubes, the install was pretty easy. The edges of the mounting bracket are sharp, and I cut my finger twice. The surface does show a lot of fingerprints. We like the low profile but were surprised by the fact that it sticks out from the wall almost 3″ farther than the other units we looked at, it was also more expensive, so hopefully, it lasts longer. Time will tell.

It’s not difficult to replace our original GE standard profile microwave. It fits our cabinet as expected. Low profile has shorter inner place for food, but not a problem to us at all.

It’s great! The chime when through cooking is very low, but I read that in other reviews, so it wasn’t a surprise. Don’t know what Whirlpool was thinking on that. I does need to be louder.
It holds every dish I use in my other full size one!
