Very Sleek, low profile microwave. Seems to heat quick & good. Love that you don’t see a handle or any numbers on the outside but definitely takes some getting used too – keep shutting the door before setting the cook time. Have received compliments on it from every one who has seen it!

This is a really nice microwave only one flaw you will have to get used to is that the door is longer than the regular full size microwave and you can hit your head on the door when opening. Other than that I we have had it 6 months now and everything works fine. Love the LED stove light. I would recommend for anyone looking for more stove top space, great space saver.

Space saver! Works great, doesn’t take up as much room as I thought it would, which is great. Looks nice, clean look with buttons under the door, but takes some getting used to. I’m glad the 30 second/start button is on the outside. Wish it had the quick minute buttons, for one minute or two minutes, I do miss that. I like the music it plays when it’s done, that’s nice. It also plays as a reminder if you forget your coffee or whatever in there.

I have only had this microwave for 9 months and it quit working. I’ve verified it’s not an electrical issue both the plug and circuit are good but microwave has no power. The only help I have gotten from whirlpool on this issue is to schedule a local service tech to determine if it falls under warranty with the caveat that I could be responsible for technician fees in this determination. I think if a product last less than a year they would fix the issue or replace the product. I’m glad I discovered how poorly they stand behind their products before I purchased my double oven, I will be buying another brand. Sad to see that the quality of their products isn’t what it once was and of limited customer service. I couldn’t talk to anyone other than a customer service rep and they wouldn’t provide any other contact info for me to discuss the issue with in fact they just ended the chat. I’d advise to purchase a microwave from another manufacturer.

Extremely easy to install, make sure you check studs before buying. We got this to replace a large bulky microwave hood and have plenty of room to see the stove now. May be a bit cumbersome if you mind the old holes in your backsplash or if you have something difficult to replace like tile.
Edgewise, prepare yourself and measure twice. Very easy to install.

Our family loves this microwave! The Low profile over the range microwave hood combination looks great and works great! The only problem was the installation instructions were a little confusing. I have installed probably 25 microwaves in my lifetime. This microwave had the worst instructions.

It died within 8 months and whirlpool warranty is ridiculous to deal with to get someone out here. I am going on a month with a dead microwave that is 9 months. Best Buy Service Plan on it won’t kick in until it is past manufacture warranty or I would have had this resolved already through them. By the way, my Whirlpool refrigerator, which is a 2019 model, condensor died the week before the microwave and all other appliances, non Whirlpool working just fine so no mechanical issues stemming from my electrical in case you are wondering and Best Buy installed the microwave for me, not refrigerator because it was here when I purchased my home about a year and a half ago. I replaced it with a Samsung when Best Buy gave me the choice between the same Whirlpool and the Samsung.

Works well so far. The only suggestion is online there were two almost identical versions and the only difference was the location of buttons style. The one I ended up ordering has the buttons for programming before shutting the door and an electronic opening of door versus manually.
If there is a way to clarify the differences a bit more because even the compare option wasn’t completely clear.

I love the height of this microwave; I don’t care for the fingerprints on it constantly but that’s because of the people I live with. It’s plenty big enough for anything I used in my regular size microwave. Looks good and a good amount of space between it and stove which I needed. Might be a problem for a shorter person installed under a cabinet over a stove.

At first you will look at the dimensions and think, is this going to be big enough for us? But the truth is the interior is large enough for anything that you are reheating or small things that you might be cooking. We have found the fan and the light to both high quality and to provide what we were looking for over our range. I could not be happier with this purchase.

Normally I do not write reviews. I am so happy when someone does because, as a buyer, I find them very helpful. I bought this microwave because it was the only one the fit my space. It fits beautifully. The controls are very awkward. You must make your selection only when the door is open. The wire rack that supports the glass plate does not stay in place, forcing the plate to slip.
