We have two larger, more traditional models from Waterpik and use them regularly. Our one gripe across the entire household has been the fact that they are tethered to a base unit. It is small gripe, but a gripe nonetheless. Everything else about each of those units is great sans the fact you can’t really move all that much. I’m not saying we want to dance or run around, but you go to stand up straight or turn and look at something next thing you know you’re getting tugged by the base unit.
With the big obvious improvement/difference out of the way, let’s proceed.
When not in use it collapses down to darn near half its size which makes on-the-go use much more doable than with previous editions. You still get 3 head attachment offerings as well as a charge cable (type C!!!) straight out of the box.
Function itself is great as with all Waterpik models. At this point they’ve proven that in this department they aren’t going to let you down, it’s merely up to you to use their products often enough to see the benefits. The one downside here (and not even enough to warrant removal of a star) is that if you have something really stuck or you are used to using previous Waterpiks on a really high setting, you likely aren’t going to get the same oommmph out of this little guy. It is to be expected considering the lack of heft compared to their larger models but remember that this can also be viewed as a pro if you’re older or have a condition that limits your strength and/or dexterity. Besides, I’ve always found the power settings beyond 75% on the aforementioned two other models we have to be way too powerful for regular use.
Aside from that, it’s pretty straight forward. You can move around with it and it shoots water between your teeth. You can also brush thanks to the attachments. End of story.
100% recommendation, full price or otherwise.

I have the regular waterpik and I thought it would be need to have a portable one for traveling. I was attracted to the design that it’s collapsible which would make it easier for traveling. However, the product failed to meet my expectations.
Pros:
– Collapsible
– USB C charging compatible, no need to bring an additional charger
– The accessories are all compatible with my other waterpik sets
– It came with all the essential accessories
Cons:
– The design is awkward to hold, not as ergonomical for my small hand
– The power button is a bit hard to operate
– Water stream is not as consistent and strong as I expected
– I am a bit weary about the metal spring being exposed to the water itself as much as it is probably safe
Overall, it’s good if you really need it for traveling as it’s compact and collapsible. It also uses the standard USB C for charging which comes handy. But for daily use, I would suggest the regular waterpik which is easier to operate and you can control the setting more.

This WaterPik is pretty cool little travel gadget. In particular, folks who dislike floss and obnoxious electrical cords will find it really helpful.
The whole device condenses to the size of an sunglass case, is charged by USB-C (cable included), and has a few different kinds of attachments to customize your clean. There is a full-on brush head, a “semi-floss” brush-head, and a plastic nozzle, along with a cap to use when traveling.
The tank is big enough to accomodate enough water that you can easy get through a full cleaning without having to fill it up again, and the battery lasts for several cleanings (at least a week so far) between charges. The power on water jet is pretty strong at the lowest setting, I never needed to turn it up, although it does go up 2 more levels of power. It was also easy to drain and store.
It’s a bit more bulky than a traditional WaterPik flosser (because it’s an all-in-one unit vs just the sprayer handle with a separate pump), but this is an easy way to bring your WaterPik with you when you travel, or if you just have a small bathroom and need something that works without taking up a lot of space, this is the one.
If you DO travel with it, you’re going to wish it had a carrying pouch (it doesn’t in this packaging), especially with the different nozzles, but I suspect most folks find their favorite and stick with just the one. There’s no way to clip the nozzles to the device itself, either, so you’re out of luck from that front.
All in all, though, I was really pleased with the weight, size, and portability of this particular WaterPik.

This review is from my week from using this water flosser. I’m sure like you, I’ve been told flossing with water is better. I’ve been hesitant over the years due pain level. My initial thoughts were that the flosser is light and easy to use. It charges relatively quickly. In the week I did use this flosser, took less than 2-3 to charge, and has left over charge by the end of the week. The directions were easy to follow on how to properly use this. I personally have sensitive gums, so when I used cold water, there was some soreness, but the actual pressure didn’t cause pain. I had a better experience with lukewarm water.
The flosser was able to get through to hard to reach spots around my molars. I noticed plaque that wouldn’t normally loosen from normal flossing. I liked how you were able to adjust the pressure and speed of the flosser, with minimal pressure, I was able to loosen plaque pretty easily. Going forward, I am glad I made the change to water flossing. It’s definitely a better way to floss and will stick with it too see long term the improvements are.

I’m a water floss addict. I need it at least twice a day and always hated traveling without my big waterpik. Around ten years ago, I bought the old version of this, which had a huge base and has been my go to while traveling so I was naturally excited when I saw a new version that was considerably smaller. I purchased an off-brand travel water pick a few years ago that had a similar setup to this one, but it was too weak, the battery was too small, and it required a proprietary charger that made me never want to carry it. The old travel waterpik with the fat base also required a proprietary charger, so one of my first pros for this new model was that it takes a USB-C charger behind a weatherproof rubber cover. The hose that sucks up the water from the container is wrapped in a stainless steel spring so it should last. The sliding mechanism that makes it compact doesn’t come apart (like my off-brand unit) so there’s nothing to fumble with. Everything is compact and integrated, so it’s grab and go. My only concern with this unit is that it doesn’t come apart to clean, so the inside could get gross. It does tell you to drain after each use and I guess I can run vinegar when it gets gross but time will tell. Obviously, it doesn’t have the kick of the plug-in models, but it beats not having it on the road. Definitely recommend this!

The new WaterPik cordless slide flosser (the name is quite a mouthful) is a decent innovation from WaterPik. It’s the first cordless one that I’ve tried. So far, I’ve had to charge it once so the battery life seems to be good. It does not come with a wall adapter but has a USB-C adapter and you can use almost any USB wall adapter. As far as the size, it’s relatively compact and the “slide” feature allows it to compact to a nice size for travel or storage. It has 3 speeds which is different from the plugin model I’ve used before that had more speeds, but 3 seems to be enough. It comes with 3 different tips which is nice but has no storage for them. The reservoir is a nice size for a single use, but has a small fill hole which can make it a little harder to fill. I would think it would be good for travel, but it doesn’t have a case so you would need to make sure it was stored somewhere it wouldn’t cause anything else to get wet if you’re not able to get all the water out. It’s removable so you can dry it or clean it out if needed. My daughter uses it as well (with a different tip) and it’s a little fat for her hands so be aware of that if you have smaller hands. Overall it’s a decent unit that performs as expected.

I am obsessed with flossing. I floss after every meal and pretty much after I eat anything. I had braces growing up and the spacing between my teeth lends to getting food stuck pretty easily. I’ve been interested in a water flosser for a while but didn’t want a huge unit taking up my side of the counter like my wife’s.
This one is great for saving space, but needs to be filled up every time. If you’re not willing to fill up every use (it’s a simple process of opening the hatch on the side) you may be better suited with a full size unit. This is also perfect fro traveling, which is really its main suggested use case.
Once I filled it up the first time and selected a nozzle (there are a few different kinds and a stopper to use when traveling) I started it up and nothing came out. I had to run it without the nozzle briefly to kind of “prime the pump” and then it started working. Not sure if this is how it was supposed to work, but in any case I got it going.
I was very surprised at how hard this little battery powered thing pumped out the water. I used the nozzle with the smallest, most concentrated opening and it was really pounding my gums, in a good way. I was surprised at how much debris I saw when I rinsed afterward.
Since this is meant for travel use, the body collapses into the water chamber (make sure it’s empty first!) to make it more compact for travel. The charging port is a standard USB-C (Love the standardized charging!) and it holds a decent charge. I would expect to be able to use it for a week-long trip without charging. But if it does need charging it’s great to know I can just top it off with my phone charger.
The only thing that would make this better is some kind of travel case to hold the nozzles and maybe the charging cable. I will most likely use it around the house anyway.

I can’t believe how powerful this little guy is and the design is perfect. I like washing out my teeth after eating and having that available when I am away from home is great. I liked the packaging which felt efficient but professional with all the components neatly arranged in the small box that it is shipped in. The device itself is just as advertised, compact and nicely minimal design that is easy to figure out without instructions.
I have had 6 to 8 different portable water flossers over the years and this one is SO much better than all the others. Until this one, none of them were very portable. They were all pretty large and bulky and took up a lot of room in my suitcase. The water resevoirs were hard to detach and difficult to clean and dry out before packing. Worse, they were designed with the on/off button exposed so they tend to turn on when they get jostled inside your suitcase. Many times I have arrived at my destination with a dead water flosser. It has also led to several instances during my travels of people pointing out that my suitcase was buzzing.
It is a light, small well shaped easily packed personal hygiene tool. While I use Sonic care brushes that work well, there is always a little something left behind that only flossing can get to. Water flossing is the most productive method we have found unless you enjoy the “dessert “ found the next morning. This design solves all those problems. It is true that because the water reservoir is very small it will run out of water quickly but it is so powerful that it gets a lot done with that small amount of water. And it only takes 5 seconds to refill it again, so who cares if you have to refill it once or twice? A fair trade for having such a well-designed, compact travel flosser. The pressure is adequate for me and the food particles get washed out nicely.
As long as you realize this is really a travel device or one suited for those who only need very short cleaning sessions then you won’t be disappointed and I highly recommend this product.

I have been able to use this waterpik flosser for a few days, and then it has changed my life and view of flossing. It is very easy to use and very compact as well. Perfect for traveling or at home. My mouth has never felt cleaner! It was very easy to set up and start using. I will say your first time will be very messy if you never use a water floss device before. My mirror and poor counter were drenched my first time. But oh, was it worth it. You could also use it in the shower for a mess free experience as well. It is super easy to use. All you have to do is expand the device to allow for the water, fill it, press one button, and a way you go. It has three different tips you can use and three pressure settings you can choose from. It works very well and has great pressure that leaves you clean. I live that the charger is USB C. Only issue I have had which is minor is that it does empty quick. So you have to refill it at least at least once per session depending on pressure. But other than that it’s great! Very compact and the battery last a long time.

Note: This product isn’t intended to replace the Waterpik counter-top or advanced series models. You may find the features, accessories, and experience to be less fulfilling than what is offered on those models. This model is targeted for users that want a Waterpik experience on the go (while traveling, at the gym, at a second home, at work, or have limited bathroom space for a larger Waterpik model).
In The Box:
– Cordless Water Flosser
– Three Water Flosser Tips (Classic Jet Tip for general use; Plaque Seeker Tip for general use and implants/crowns/bridges/retainers; Orthodontic Tip for general use and braces)
– One Travel Plug Tip (to prevent leakage during transport or storage)
– One USB-C to USB-A Cable (no block/plug provided)
– One User Guide
Pros:
– Compact, small footprint makes it ideal for people that want to have a water flosser on the go that they can keep in their travel or gym bag or at work. Also great for small bathrooms where counter or storage space isn’t plentiful.
– Rechargeable battery via USB-C cable, no batteries needed. Can plug into laptop, car, wall outlet.
– Waterproof (can be used in the shower).
– Well built, feels sturdy in the hand. About the size of a large phone or medium sized flashlight.
– Smart design – the water reservoir slides out when you are ready to use and slides in when you are done and ready to store the water flosser.
– Truly cordless.
– Three pressure settings – low/medium/high.
– The Waterpik runs pretty quietly, with minimal noise.
– Easy to use right out of the box, just recommend letting it charge for a few hours before first use
– Reservoir is large enough (6 oz) to run for about 45 seconds, long enough to clean the mouth comfortably. The user guide does warn against using the flosser for 5 minutes in every two hour period. If you are someone that likes to use your Waterpik for more than a minute or two, I’d probably recommend a different model with a larger reservoir. Again – this model is for more compact/travel use. And reservoir is removable for cleaning.
– Tips are replaceable.
– My mouth does feel better and fresher/cleaner after use. I can see food particles in my sink after using it after a meal.
– Battery is rated for 23 minutes of total run time. Theoretically should only have to recharge after about 30 uses.
– Though they are not included – you can purchase the Toothbrush tip (to allow you to brush – with or w/o toothpaste – and waterfloss at the same time using the unit) and Tongue Cleaner tip as they are compatible with this model.
Cons:
The following two cons are not unique to this product or Waterpik, as they are cons for many modern electronics that are battery powered but should be noted in my opinion.
– One USB-C charging cable is provided, however no charging block or plug is provided. You will need to provide one of your own.
– No serviceable parts on the unit. I do worry about the long term ownership for this product as it is reliant on a rechargeable battery that cannot be replaced. What happens when the battery stops holding a charge after several years of use? Guess you just have to throw out the unit and get a new one.

I have wanted one of these for a while, and I am SO glad I finally got one. I really did not think it would work better than traditional flossing, but I am absolutely impressed. My teeth felt way cleaner after just one use.
This cordless Waterpik flosser has tons of features, including three pressure settings, a charging stand/cord, three interchangeable tips, and it is water resistant. As long as the charging port is covered with the connected silicone cover, it can be easily used in the shower, which is what I do. I also like using it in the shower because I fill it up with warm water instead of cold; the cold water makes my teeth hurt since they are pretty sensitive, but I have no issues when I use warm water. The three different included tips are a general cleaner, a plaque cleaner (it has bristles on the end to help scour), and a tip that makes it easy to use for those who wear braces or retainers. Depending on the pressure used, the cordless model goes for about 30-45 seconds before the reservoir runs out, but it is super easy to refill and go again if necessary.
Its compact size makes it great to use when traveling, especially because the unit itself collapses into the water reservoir. The drain at the bottom of the reservoir and on the top edges of the unit keep it so water leaves the unit/dries instead of standing and creating a possible mold problem.
All in all, I love having one of these and have been told by my dentist that it can help prevent cavities between the teeth, which I struggle with. I would definitely recommend it!

Best purchase I’ve made in a long while. Why didn’t I get one sooner?
hdtravel –
Nice unit for getting your teeth cleaner while traveling. Compact and works good. Big issue is that it does not hold much water but to make it portable that’s the trade-off all these portable units have. Fill-up – Use – fill up again – Use – you get the idea.
Twoicemakers –
Unit is good. Works well overall. Does leak between unit and water compartment.
PeterM –
Not a durable product. I did not use it excessively and did not get it wet, but the on-off button broke in 1 month.
Briana –
Worth the price to have options of water flow. It runs a long time on a single charge.I noticed an immediate difference in my teeth & they feel much cleaner than with traditional flossing. I love the portability as I travel often that was a must.
ZacharyS –
Love this so much for travel. I fill it twice, one cycle will do whole row of bottom teeth, second refill does the top row. Water pressure is amazing. So happy I can fit this in my travel kit.
user434532 –
Unit only functions intermittently. After a month, we heard a strange noise at 2AM, and could not find the source. The following night it happened again and continued several times with short bursts every 1/2 hour or so. We finally discovered that the unit was running for a few seconds and stopping. I finally had to take the unit out and place in my car so we could get back to sleep.
I will be returning to store to request a replacement by the standard cordless unit that we had for years with no issues.
JuancarlosI –
It works great. For cleaning the teeth is really awesome
bentucha1 –
Never owned a water pick device so I didn’t know what to expect. I think it work ok but I don’t think that you can completely abandon string/tape flossing.
NaomiL –
Very happy with purchase. Extremely easy to travel with and long lasting power after it is charged
ProudFather –
The cordless version of a Waterpik was a new thing for me. Overall, it works well but it simply does not have the real cleaning power that is offered in a stand-alone wall-powered unit, even at the highest setting. I like that I can travel with it and the portability. Overall, if you have sensitivities this might be a good option for you.
SemperFiKen –
I travel a lot with work and this is compact enough to fit in my travel bag, has a good assortment of tips and battery seems to last about 15-20 uses.
Cara –
I charged this properly, used it once and wouldn’t work when used the next morning.
ArmenM –
there is not enough pressure, small number of tips

I bought for the portability when I go on trips. It serve its purpose well!

Bought in June of 2023. Stopped working. Didn’t want to turn on anymore. I fully charged the battery, but still nothing. I hardly used it at all. I’m not sure if I can return it under warranty. The original USB cable got stolen along with my backpack.

Excellent product, highly recommended. It provides powerful pressure for a portable device. My dental hygienists was impressed and saw gum improvement during my last visit.

I have a base station model waterpik at one however at work or anywhere else because if my dental implants i need to often irrigate and this is so small i can throw it in my back and even take it into a restroom anywhere i am for a quick 10 second rinse. 10/10 would recommend
TheCookieDoctor –
It is probably unfair of me to only give this water pik foyr stars. It delivers on everything promised. It is powerful enough that you feel it does a good job. It is reasonably portable, if a little awkward to manipulate if you have smaller hands. And you can use it in the shower, which is a real benefit because what most people dont tell you if youve never used a water flosser is they are messy (be ready to drool). My only disappointment is the reservoir is a bit small, I generally need at least one refill for a full cleaning and that can be awkward when you’re using it in the shower. Look, this product is about form factor and it does a good job, i just want people to be aware it does have some limitations that form factor brings.
KathyG –
easy to use and small enough to take with you, if you travel.

Water pic is the perfect accessory for cleaner teeth!

Instant success! Bought for my gf and she loves it. Able to get to the hard to reach places in the mouth. Isn’t something that is cumbersome to carry around, and fits right into her purse.

EASY TO USE AND CARRY. DOESNT CARRY A LOT OF WATER BUT DEFINETELY PRACTICAL

Excellent product. I love this. I could take it anywhere.

The sliding mechanism wasnt the best, water would leak out the sides. The water pressure wasnt strong. I flossed afterwards to find it practically didnt work. I highly recommend regular flossing.
SusieQ –
I got this Waterpik for Christmas. I like everything about it. The only thing that would make it better, in my opinion, would be that the water reservoir held more water.
PatriciaD –
I love it , so much better than regular floss! Easy to use and compact in your countertop
