I’ve always had to put some kind of flavoring in my water, not just for the taste, I can’t stand the smell of city water. I can’t drink out of plastic either…the smell is just so gross.
This filter allows me to drink water again and actually enjoy it. It removes all of the offensive smell, not just most of it. It tastes clean and doesn’t have a flavor, which is how clean water should taste. I replace it every 6 months, the old one twists out and I pop this one in and have been using it for almost two years and I drink a lot more water now.

Works really well, though doesn’t last as long as it advertises. I am unsure if it’s to do with our water quality or not, the filter slows down dramatically after a few months of use to the point that it’s painfully slow to use and it stops sufficiently producing ice. The filter light on the fridge doesn’t turn on either so I’m not sure what the problem is. Up until that point it works well though, just wish it would last as long as it’s meant to on the filter box.
