This is almost a spiritual successor to advanced wars. If you played advanced wars back in the day then you neeed to play this game.
Cat9 –
The game starts you out on Hard mode, which is punishing beyond the first mission or two. So I went down to Normal, but that’s still hard. I could go down to Story, but the lower the difficulty the less stars you’re allowed to earn per mission. And stars are how you unlock concept art in the gallery. Ultimately if I just wanted the story I could have simply watched a Let’s Play on Youtube.
MarcoPolo –
If you liked advance wars, this is a great title to pick up. It keeps the core mechanics of advance wars and adds enough differences to keep it interesting and fun
Electro –
Good game. Similar to the old advance wars, but not exactly the same
Dachancellor –
Fun turn based strategy game that scratches the Advance Wars itch.
