As I’ve seen on other sites, you must follow the instructions very carefully. The graphics provide very important details of assembling the stand that may not be listed in the instructions. Upon inspecting all of the pieces, 1 out of 4 of the back panels was bent. I’m assuming this was due to how the items are packaged as the box showed no visible damage and the panels were packed in the center of all the other items. This wasn’t too much of an issue at first, but as I continued to assemble the unit, I noticed the bottom base screw hole was too wide which caused an issue with the end panel. I requested replacement parts from Walker Edison, but I suppose due to the pandemic, there were delays. After 2 weeks of no response, I ordered a replacement. Since the base defect was noticed further in the assembly, I decided to build the replacement order. In the new order, one of the back panels was once again bent. So I decided to use parts from the original order to resolve any possible issues with the replacement unit.
After countless hours and a couple assembly mistakes, I finally got everything together and love it. When I started placing everything in the unit, I saw the wiring holes to the back panels needed to be flipped based on my setup—the only modification I decided to make. The panel holes are supposed to be up top, but many of the things I have in the cabinet has wiring closer to the floor, so I flipped the back panel. This made running wires to my receiver so much better than the design.
Pros: Beautiful once pit together.
Cons:
Quality control issues—the holes for the base and the shelving was too large. 4 holes for the shelving required me to use glue from the WE Cabinets to keep the shelf support pins in place.
Although this is MDF, the wood design is a wrap. So it can be easily damaged if scratched. So for the cost, I expected more than a wrap.

This is a higher end furniture. It’s components are pressboard but there is a thin layer about 1cm of a harder board applied on all sides of the pressboard to add strength and also make it look closer to real wood. The frame is metal with a powder coat that makes it look like cast iron.
Putting it together was easier than most furnitures.
Only con I had was that the inside shelves go all the way from front to back which meant I couldn’t run cables from the rope shelf inside to the bottom. Also the back panels that close in the unit, I ended up using because they only had port holes for cables on the top.
This cabinet is meant to either have equipment on the top or bottom of the inside shelves.
I ended up just removing the backing labels.

Excellent stand that looks great. Mesh doors let out some of the heat from electronics stored inside. First delivery was damaged in warehouse, but Best Buy staff let me know promptly, and had another one to me a couple of days later. Very happy with the product and service.
