    Not a lot to say, but Best Buy installed a remote start many, many years ago and it recently started acting funny. Was afraid it might start when the hood is open so I decided the ball bearing switch may be at fault, so I got this replacement. Install takes some knowledge as it’s wired through the firewall into the remote start control box.

    Bought this switch to add extra lights to car trunk. Used the tilt switch to activate a relay which powers the lights. After adjusting the angle of the switch to make sure lights always shut off when trunk lids is closed, everything worked perfectly. Having the device pre-wired makes it very easy to connect to anything, rather than just having small electrodes requiring wires to be soldered to the switch.
    Great little device.
