    We’ve been using this about one month with no issues. I will say that older Vornado products seem to be better quality and I did return a different model to purchase this one. Overall I’m satisfied with this particular model.

    We had another vortex space heater for our basement and got this one for the bedroom to be able to heat up the room from bed with the remote on cold winter mornings. Both of our vortex heaters are the best we’ve ever had. Quiet, super effective, and warm up the room VERY quickly! I did a lot of research on heaters with remotes and timed shut-offs before purchasing. This one was my top choice and did not disappoint! Only wish I would’ve bought it sooner! 🙂

    I wanted a space heater that was attractive and blended in to my decor. Unfortunately it lacks in quality. Around 30 days it started with faint tinny rattle. Which has now turned into a really loud obnoxious tinny rattle.

    Quieter than whisper quiet. Does a great job.love this particular model more than the other two Vornado space heaters we bought. They are quiet too but not this quiet.

    Don’t waste your time. Died within the first 2 months. I didn’t buy warranty and would have if I’d of known it would of died so quickly. Better yet, I would of never purchased in the first place.

    I have older heating units in my basement wall, but this little heater is far better. It heats the basement quickly and keeps it at whatever level you want it, It also does all of this very quietly! Love it!

    Warms great in any room. Has a timer which it is perfect. I had no heat in my bathroom last winter and just brought this before taking a shower.. perfect.

    I bought this when I tried converting my home to all electric. It was great for the master bedroom and office but not quite good enough for the living room. (I ended up going back to gas heating)

    Awesome Heater! I needed for my employees during the winter months at each workstation. The Safety features are great. So if they are accidentally left on or tipped over, it will turn off. The large display is awesome!

    I bought it for my kids bedroom, It works fine, the only issue is that it doesnt detect the temprature correctly. For example, the room temprature is 70 F, this heater shows 78 F.

    This is really sad. I only use this space heater consistently in the winter months. That’s about 3-4 months for me. So I got 6 months(4 months in 2021; it died on me in the middle of 2022 winter) of use out of this heater before the fan died on me. It turns on, but there is no heat production and no moving fan. I will not be purchasing from this brand again as the cost benefit is extremely low. The quality is not good to only be lasting 6 months. Its only in my bedroom as well. What a waste of money.

    This heater broke after 2 1/2 weeks, so it survived just long enough to make it past the best buy return deadline. I will be forced to approach the manufacturer to honor their 5 year warranty. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing this heater, it will break in under 3 weeks

    I think now I understand why some reviewers complain about the noises this heater makes.

    I purchased my first one in Jan 2022 from Best Buy and that one works perfectly and quietly even on high heat setting.

    I purchased a second one in Jan 2023 again from Best Buy but the second one makes a huge noise. You can even hear the motor grinding. In addition, the heat coming out of the second one is both significantly slower and less warmer compared with the first one.

    My wild guess is the second one was manufactured during Covid when there was a big shortage of chips around the world so the manufacturer used some replacement chips that do not do the noise-control job and fast heating job very well?

    I’ve used this heater for 5 months now and I like it better than the newer version! I think this slightly older model is better because it has a metal construction, the fans spin quieter, and the physical buttons (versus digital buttons on the newer one) are more responsive.

    To be clear, I own both this model AND the newer plastic/digital one and the main differences are that the newer one has a slightly stronger fan, full plastic body, and has a digital touch control for it’s operation.

    I personally like the older one better for the reasons previously mentioned.

    One of the best heaters, electric or otherwise, I have ever owned. This Vornado doesn’t feel like it’s giving much heat off until you realize that the room has significantly warmed over a 15 minute period – 12’x15′ laundry room from 55⁰ to 65⁰ in just under 30 minutes. The included remote control was awesome for when I moved it to the bedroom.
