    If you use your composter as much as I do then you will need to buy these replacement filters. They last only up to three months so having additional filters ensures you can keep using your composter without it emitting awful smells into your home. If they are in stock I would definitely recommend buying several pairs.

    Honestly haven’t had to replace the filters yet, but looking at them and the unit it looks super easy to change out when need be. The filters do a wonderful job of cutting smell from compost… can’t even tell when there is food to be composted and not.

    These are very effective and easy to install. I love my FoodCycler, but when filters need replacement there’s a noticeable odor while it’s running. After installing these replacement filters it’s running odor-free, and turning kitchen scraps into a wonderful soil amendment.

    I needed new filters. I think they are tad pricy, and for me seem to last 8 months.

    These filters greatly reduce the odor from items that are being processed in the foodcycler. They seem to be effective for about 3-4 months, however it probably depends on how often you use the foodcycler.

    Our FoodCycler had been without new filters for awhile. What a difference they make when running it.

    These are a must buy for the Vitamix food cycler composter machine. The machine requires 2 filters and they recommend changing every 3 months or so. The only downside is that Vitamix was never able to confirm if they should be tossed in the recycle bin after use.

    We decided to ditch filling the landfill and got the Vitamix Foodcycler. The filters last long enough to justify the costs.
