Good product. Ridiculously overpriced. Wife can’t get the small one’s lid tight enough so the blender will recognize it therefore can’t use it. I’m going to try using an oil filter wrench to tighten so the magnets will line up.

Huge Vitamix fanatic, but this product is not the one. Glad I reviewed this as late as I did. Whatever triggers my Vitamix to read that the blending cup is on, is no longer triggering. I can no longer use the product. Will not allow the blender to work anymore. I had about 3-5 months use out of this. And when I did, the cup wasn’t the best either. The interior design isn’t friendly to where the vortex properly mixes everything inside. A lot of shaking and reblending to get a proper blend. Wish I didn’t buy this.

honestly cleaning it is a pain, some times food gets stuff beneath the blades and you cant remove them to clean it so you have to fill it with soap then blend to really get it. The price is also a bit much for what it is would be nice if the cups and blades were also sold separate. I don’t really see a point in the small cup that it comes with, just make the item cheaper at that point.

I love my Vitamix and this accessory adds to its versatility. Nice to be able to make small batch smoothies and the small bowl makes it easy to make nut butters. Not as powerful as the standard container and blade, but you just have to chop ingredients smaller. I’m impressed by the build quality, thickness and weight of the product. The price is hefty, but I was able to offset it with Rewards and gift cards.

Placing the cup onto the base is the most difficult step but once you place the cup onto the base and make sure that it is tighten by turning the cup clockwise and start blending you will love it.The smoothies are more concentrated and better if that is at all possible.I am glad that I purchased this and would definitely recommend it for a person of 1.

I purchased these the same time as my Vitamix. I make my morning juice smoothie and coffee drinks in my tall cup everyday. I use the small one for salad dressings, nut butter, a quick ice cream dessert, and more. I need to order more of the containers as one is not enough. Making a small serving of salsa in it right now. 2 minutes, a few healthy ingredients and the best salsa ever!

At first, it can be used once, but later it doesn’t work anymore. For the same price, you can buy a whole set of other brands of high-speed blenders, not just two cups. It takes a lot of effort to twist and open it, very troublesome.

I thought it would be easier to blend a single serving of a thick smoothie and a chocolate mousse recipe. Wrong. Doesn’t mix, I have to take it apart, manually stir, repeat the blend, repeat again. Takes less time to just do it in the 64oz container that came with the ascent. I missed the return window. Dang.

Nobody can touch Vitamix in quality and capability. These are pricey accessories but one must understand they’re built to last decades. I used to be a chef in the 00s and we were using Vitamix blenders and food processors from the early 90s still – they’re that good. Home grade stuff seems right on par for home use.

As an every day user of my Vitamix, I was very excited to add this to my kitchen. The larger cup makes cleanup from protein shakes a lot easier and faster. The smaller cup is also very nice for blending snacks and for salad dressings. I can’t say that the quality of the blend is exactly the same as the larger container but that is expected.
