Dishwasher will not dry dishes Completely, unless you use a Rinse Aid. You must run hot water in the sink for one minute before Use. A less expensive dishwasher does not go through this routine. Very Inconvenient. This was suggested by a Viking Technical.

Cleans well, very very quiet. DOES NOT DRY. I even put it on the setting for “High Gloss” that supposedly dries even more, and my dishwasher is soaking wet when I open it in the morning. This dishwasher doesn’t use a heating element to dry dishes, it uses the condensation method. I believe that means that there needs to be really good seal between the top of the dishwasher and the countertop. Maybe BestBuy install didn’t do it correctly, but I can’t be sure. All I know is, I have a brand new dishwasher that doesn’t dry my dishes.

Not great, buy something else!!! We’re on our 3rd until, 1st one damaged, 2nd one installed but didn’t function, 3rd unit so far so good. Best Buy had the worst customer service, such a hassle to get any service until you escalate it.

This unit replaced a 2006 model. It is much quieter and does a great job washing dishes and pans. Takes a little time to get used to the touch buttons but they work smoothly. With the new government regs anout no heating elements this unit does a good job of drying with the stainless steel interior

Error code E01 could not be corrected nor repaired during the second year of the manufacturer’s warranty. I now get why Best Buy “threw in” this dishwasher when they sold us the Viking Range. Very unreliable. Repair technicians have been dismissive of the brand after three visits.

The dishwasher is well made; the only problem I have is programming the dishwasher to work. While, I understand to make it more sophisticated but at the end of the day it’s just a dishwasher with the purpose of cleaning dishes. Simplification should be the norm, I had to go to YouTube videos to understand how it works!!

This Viking Dishwasher is amazing!! It cleans everything spotless, even baked on food that you would think you wold have to scrub off after the wash cycle. Not the case at all!
I also like that there is a light that goes on when you open the door.

While I like this dishwashers looks. It does the job cleaning. It is very quiet! However I gave it 4 stars due to the awful drying of the dishes. The unit stays wet inside and you ultimately have to dry your dishes as you take them .I also do not care for the silverware tray. Would I purchase again probably not ! Having to dry my dishes takes away the greatness.of using a dishwasher.

So far the first one needed to be replaced the cheap kick plate came off while opening first time cracking and the front was dent and it did not drain all the way first use on normal setting
The Second one delivered would not even turn on. Viking should check each appliance before shipping and they did not. Now waiting another week for a third! IT WAS FREE though since I spend 5k on a Viking range- which also has a repair need from Viking needed before I can use it.
I will say though great customer service at Best Buy from our consultant Marvin in the San Rafael Best Buy who has bern great as had been the total tech team. So responsive so I have no complaints there.
I am just baffled by Vikings poor quality in such innovative high end designed appliances.
Since this dishwasher is free I have to stick with it so hope third time is the charm!

Our house had a newly remodeled kitchen – all Viking. In less than 3 years from new, the oven failed three times and was replaced with a GE; the fridge is noisy, cold water doesn’t work, and the ice maker is intermittent; the microwave display can barely be read in a dark room and the dishwasher completely failed and will be replaced with a Bosch. Anyone who buys Viking will have reliability problems – stay away!

The dishwasher is not what I expected!! After three weeks the insulation is hanging out of the bottom. My service appointment has been a no show twice. I called Viking and was told someone would be contacting me about service. No answer yet. Very disappointed with my purchase!!

DO NOT BUY. I would give zero stars if that were an option.
The only thing worse than this dishwasher is the Viking customer service – unprofessional, inexperienced, rude and ZERO SERVICE. The company does not stand by their products and they are not like they used to be.
I’ve had 4+ service calls on the dishwasher. The soap cartridge didn’t work. The computer needed to be replaced. The dishwasher only works in quick wash mode. The dishwasher leaked all over my floor and damaged the floor.
The layout is terrible; you can barely fit anything in it. The dishes are SOAKING WET – there is NO DRYing. Even with sanitize or other finishing options.
There are plenty of reputable and more cost-efficient brands that sell a better product than this trash with a brand stuck on (literally).
Spend your money on a BOSCH or save your money and get ANYTHING else.

Below par quality control: The handle came missing a set screw. A replacement came with the handle slightly dented that was not caused by shipping.
