As expected, ViewSonic has delivered an excellent portable monitor. The screen is bright and alive. I like the fact that you can charge your devices off of it when it’s on AC power. AC power is not necessary … it runs just fine from my laptop’s USB-C port.

Great monitor, don’t need to fuss with it if you’re using usb-c. Just plug it into your laptop and boom you’re off to the races. 144hz is nice! Only downside is I wish it was built more like a tablet instead of a monitor, just doesn’t feel as portable.

Mini HDMI input seems slightly bent and no longer functioning. Only used it for 2 months with no cord pulls, drops or any obvious incidents that might have caused it. Frame seems to just be a very thin metal and seems that the cord provided might have been hanging down/pulling and caused the issue…

Pros:
– Works on my Macbook Pro, Asus Zephyrus G14, PS5 and Switch.
– 144hz refresh rate. FreeSync Support.
– Portable. You can bring it with you for the library, park or camping.
– USB-C powered. Just and play. No need for drivers. No need for those rounded proprietary connectors.
– Super slim. Around half an inch thick.
– Has a built-in stand.
Cons:
– No VESA mount support. Does not have holes on the back for a VESA mount if you want to mount it on a stand.
– Has a mini-hdmi port instead of a standard hdmi port. Probably has to do with the super slim profile.
– Speakers are not very loud. This must expected for a small portable monitor.

It’s a good monitor. Plug and play right out of the box. Works amazingly well with my M1 MacBook Pro via USBc. The only issue I have is that the reds are orange and no amount of adjustments makes that any better. I don’t know if this particular monitor has an issue or its across all of this model. I am going to exchange it for a new one to test it, because I do love the build quality and specs this this offers. I will adjust my review accordingly.

This little screen has been a rock star.
Very easily portable I’ve had no issues bringing it anywhere and it connects to any device I have tried to plug into it. So far it’s my 2nd work monitor and my main gaming monitor for when I travel and it’s a necessary item if I’m going away from my apartment.

It slides right into the shoulder bag next to my 17″ laptop and makes an excellent extension monitor. Windows 11 recognized it immediately. I’m feeding it signal through the HDMI input and powering it off the laptop through the USB-C input.

I purchased this monitor over several other options primarily due to the size of the screen and also due to the fact that the back and stand are constructed of aluminum. I do not use this for its’ intended use as a gaming monitor, but as a second screen when traveling with my work laptop when I don’t have access to my dual monitor and docking station setup that are in my office. The colors seem rather dull but in fairness I haven’t really tuned the picture settings much. No dead pixels or other irregularities that I’ve found so far. My favorite feature is that I don’t need to use the included power adapter when I connect to my laptop via usb-c. Would purchase again.

The portable monitor is a great size and easy to travel with. I’m a product designer and use two of them to save space on my desk along with my 32” ultrawide screen. The display colors are decent. They are mostly used to monitor emails, work chat, and for the web. I did test with my gaming PC and it’s fine. Just a bit too small for serious gaming. The downside and as expected, small screen = small sound. Can’t knock it for that because like I’m said, something to expect.

I primarily use Linux OS-es and this works great via the included HDMI port. I purchased this to provide a second monitor while traveling with my laptop. Many earlier portable monitors I saw only connected using USB, so you had to have drivers to run the display and most didn’t support Linux.

A great external travel monitor, but it feels a bit fragile. The large screen is definitely for the people who use and needs excel along with their laptop monitor for more productivity on the go. I really wanted to get the LG, but it was out of my price range. This is a great alternative.

Great monitor to travel and utilize as a second monitor. I use this with my mac via usb c and my desktop via hdmi. Both gives me a maxium of 144hz. You can also use this as a gaming monitor and although its 1080p it still looks good. Very good investment!

For the remote worker or traveler who occasionally works from public spaces, hotels, etc. this monitor is excellent. The resolution and brightness is perfecf and is simple to connect to MacOS. I would jusr be aware that it is fairly large and may not fit into smaller backpacks. It barely fits in my Wenger backpack but the protective sleeve protects the screen!

This is a great monitor so far. It’s nice and light weight and it makes it great to connect with just one usb-c cable to my Lenovo X1 gen 8 work laptop! It’s nice not having to have two power plugs and a connector to run everything. The display is great for work and I don’t doubt that it would be great for gaming.

Awesome portable monitor. I use this as part of a mobile gaming pc build for when im traveling. Great picture, very bright. Requires usb-c for power (at least in my experience). 4 stars only due to the speakers being quiet and poor quality.
