Pre ordered this and was excited to see the capabilities. When it arrived I was excited to get spinning. Victrola app is a complete dumpster fire to set up. Would connect and randomly lose connection to the Sonos speakers when flipping the record. Rendering it unusable and a headache to try to fix each time. Delay is around the Sonos max 2000ms even at minimum setting. Dropping the needle would be so late to the speakers it lost the full feel of playing a record. The idea of this turntable is great.. the actual usage, not so much. Was only able to get through a solid 2 LP’s before making the call to return it. YOU’RE much better off buying a Sonos amp or port and using it with another turntable. Buyer beware.

Super easy set up through the Victrola app…it immediately integrated itself into my Sonos ecosystem and sounds great. i have had a few drop issues but nothing a reset didn’t fix. I was assuming their would be some bugs (that’s the price of being an early adapter) to work through but so far the bugs are minor and the joy of listening to my records through my Sonos system more than outweigh any minor annoyances that have come up so far.

In a word, Perfect, this is as simple as sonos, however, it seems to sound even better, I hear more bass in everything and it’s so cool to not be restricted of where the turntable is placed, Vinyl lives like new!

I’ve been using this for a few days now and can say it has changed the way I listen to vinyl. My vinyl has never sounded better now that it plays over my Sonos system throughout my apartment. It was super easy and quick to setup via the Victrola app. It’s a beautiful piece of hardware (the visible carbon fiber on the tone arm is a nice touch). I have had a few dropouts here and there, but it isn’t anything that isn’t quickly and easily fixed – I would expect these to be ironed out pretty quickly. Other than, honestly, I think this is the best way to listen to vinyl.

Easy set up and integration with my Sonos system. Vinyls sounded great with this turntable and Sonos speakers

Having purchased many electronics over the years I was initially impressed by by the packaging and quality of the product and components. It was very easy to set-up and came with written as well as electronic instructions. I had the unit up and running within less than 5 minutes. You can configure it that as soon as you put a record on it automatically connects and starts streaming to which ever sonos zone you choose. I was initially concerned about the sound quality due to the streaming/sonos connectivity, however I was wrong. The clarity and crispness of the audio is top notch and I would recommend this for any audiophile who is concerned with quality to give this product a try. Victrola hit a home run with this product – A+++

This turntable checks all the boxes…looks great, simple setup and perfect operation. Seamless integration with my Sonos!

Ease of setup you’ve come to expect with Sonos. It took no time to link to my existing Sonos speakers thru the app. The sound of Vinyl with the compatibility of pumping it thru my existing Sonos speakers makes this a great addition to our audio setup. The clarity is superb and I love being able to play vinyl thruought the house now.

I’ve been waiting a long time for a turntable with Sonos integration.
The packaging felt very premium and the unboxing and set up experience was very smooth. The directions are very clearly listed and it only takes a few minutes to assemble the tone arm.
The Victrola app is also easy to use and my device was automatically found in my Sonos app. The app gives you the option to connect to an existing stereo system. This allows me to still have an up close listening session using the bookshelf speakers if I want, with the ability to easily toggle the output in the app to play music in the kitchen or living room, where I previously could not listen to vinyl based on the location of the record player.
This is a great option for people who want to get into Vinyl and already have a Sonos system or people who want to expand the reach of their current turntable’s set up.

Love the look!! VERY GLITCHY if you elect to do WIFI.
Works perfect with the ethernet cable from the turntable into the router. Fortunately, my router was very convenenient to connect to the turntable. The same thing with the SONOS itself. You have to have 1 speaker directly in the router and then all speakers works perfectly.

I’m both a huge Sonos fan and a vinyl collector and junky. I was super stoked to find hear about this new option. I previously had a turn table ran with RCA output through a Sonos amp to the system. The cost of my old turntable and amp was more than this together, and this system is better in almost every way
The unboxing was very nice, felt premium and experiential. The set up was a breeze, sans having to download a separate app (just for set up…not for using it)…super easy and intuitive. On this app you can preselect designated speakers that the system will play to within you whole Sonos system so it can be in a specific area or using your whole system
It looks masculine, bold and sturdy for me, yet chic and contemporary enough that I relocated it to our living room, whereas my old system was in my man cave (per the wife’s wishes. Ha)
The functionality is the best part. Drop the pin and you’re off. There’s a single knob. Hold it down for one second snd you’re automatically playing on whatever pre-selected speakers you designated on the Sonos system. The knob also controls volume as well which is great. So you can play vinyl on this turntable through Sonos without touching the app…pretty fantastic
Less wires and jimmy rigging than the old system, but also the sound quality is much better as well. Not sure if it’s the turntable itself being durable and high functioning or just not running it through RCA L/r wires.
Anyway if you’re into Sonos and Vinyl, treat yourself – this one is a winner.

High hopes … started with connection issues … wouldn’t find most of my Sonos system … then playback issues … a LOT of skipping even with counterweight adjustment … and dropouts of audio… maybe I got a defective one but with so many issues didn’t want to try another
LHTM –
Product is poorly designed, not well made and basically overpriced. App is required to set it up and App does not function smoothly and needs to be redesigned. Lacks automatic tonearm feature such as found in $150 AudioTech deck. The cover is awkward and not attached to the base. When finally set up it does work. However–question is for how long. And calling customer service gives you recording that says call back later. You might consider more durable turntable and a seprate preamp.

Great turntable, works seamlessly with my Sonos wireless system. Took 10 minutes to put together and connected to Sonos. Back playing albums I’ve kept for 45 years, it’s great.
StevenB –
Easy setup and connectivity with Sonos speakers is outstanding. This really is a game changer when considering a turntable to add to your Sonos system of speakers.
Storyteller7 –
I love our Sonos system with music throughout the house and when I saw that Victrola had created a turntable that was Sonos approved I bought it. We love it. It has been incredibly easy to connect and use. And it’s perfect for the Christmas season as I have brought out our old Christmas albums and have enjoyed playing them. It’s a bit pricey but I’ve not bought any audio components in a good while and we’ve enjoyed this almost every day since the purchase. I would absolutely do it again!
JasonB –
Great concept. A little on the pricey side but i felt it was worth it for the ease of Sonos integration.
Setup was easy as pie and I was up and running in 5 minutes.
As soon as I put the needle on the record it played on my sonos. Glorious!
Listened to records for days.
BUT
It started to skip intermittently. Annoying.
My unit is literally 5 feet from my router. So i know its not the connection.
Then many times when I go to play a record it spins the record but doesnt show up on the sonos app.
Very annoying that the very tech I paid extra for is not consistent.
emcaballero –
Great turntable. Quality is solid. I would recommend configuring the wireless audio delay setting to high—audio quality seems to go up significantly. Also, while the turntable works via Wi-Fi, it really depends on how solid your wireless network is. Having a fast router doesn’t necessarily mean you will have a stable connection which is far more important than speed in this case. If you’re wireless network is a question mark, try connecting via Ethernet for optimal performance.
HiFiGeek –
This is exactly what my home needed. I have other turntables that need to have extra equipment. I placed this on a table, plugged in power, downloaded the Victrola app and my Sonos speaker zones are playing the record on this turntable. Super simple setup if you already have a Sonos system. This is a must buy for any Sonos system for real music lovers!!! Great purchase! Get it!
JoetteD –
If you have ANY sonos – get this!!!! Worth the money. Sounds amazing. Easy to put together and set up. We are mad we didn’t get it sooner. Only table on the market that works with Sonos other than the 5.
Jesto –
Ordered this for my son on black friday – build quality is great – and sound is decent but i wouldnt say mindblowing. The real advantage here is that it delivers on the promise of seamless sonos integration – if thats what you’re looking for – its perfect
Scott –
This thing rocks with my Sonos system. No breaks in the feed. It sounds phenomenal.
Stubs –
This record player has great sound. It hooks very easily through an app to the Sonos system. Once it’s hooked to the system, every time you play a disc, it immediately hooks to it.
JaymeW –
I want to start out by saying absolutely love this final player for my Sonos ecosystem!! So the good things first, the record player itself is extremely high quality and has a lot of higher-end details. And the user program is absolutely flawless good job the Victoria. So far the dislikes are, the dust cover is removable but there’s no place to store it, it would have been nice to have an option to attach it to the record player if needed. The rubber feet on the bottom of the record player are subpar at best compared to higher and record players which is disappointing because it can lead to loop feedback which is most likely going to happen at high volumes especially if you have a Sonos sub, the way to fix this is to move the record player as far away from vibrations as possible but if you like to watch your vinyls while you’re listening to them this is a no-go. There’s also a problem sometimes when you listen to a vinyl and it comes to the end of the vinyl if you don’t flip it right away and start the other side of the vinyl there’s a audio delay sometimes it can take up to a few minutes for the audio to catch back up to the record player. It doesn’t happen all the time which leads me to believe that it’s a software issue that could be adjusted with Wi-Fi but I’m not 100% sure. I can’t say enough about how amazing this vinyl player is and I would suggest anyone that has a Sonos ecosystem to highly think about buying this. I’m using the (arc, dual play5’s, sub)

GOSH I want this thing to work, but unfortunately I’ve had lots of problems so far. The first one sounded terrible, so I returned it. The second one sounds great… only every time I go back to use it, the Victrola app has completely forgotten what it is, and I have to do a reset and reinstall it. It’s very iirritating. I’m also disappointed nobody seems to be able to help me. I think I need to cut my losses and get a different player, which means purchasing more sonos equipment. Very sad this just isn’t a reliable piece of gear.

The Victrola Stream Carbon turntable is a gamechanger for lovers of vinyl. No longer are you stuck with a sub-par internal turntable speaker, nor do you have to have an elaborate setup of audio devices and cabling. Super easy to set up and pair with Sonos.
Venom –
Bought as a gift for someone and got nothing but positive compliments in return. Sound quality is A-1 and great sleek design
GeraldM –
The Victrola is amazing. First album played flawlessly. Second, not so much. A quick look at the brief guide that came along with the player solved the problem. It’s flawless and fantastic.
StevenH –
Product looks great, is well constructed, and connected easily to Wi-Fi and my Sonos system. BUT, the signal drops constantly during playback. I have done all the troubleshooting… set audio delay to Max, etc. The turntable is sitting within inches of my router, and I have a professional/commercial grade router. No excuse. I am going to plug in Ethernet connection, which presumably will fix the issue. My recommendation: DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU CAN CONNECT VIA ETHERNET
Icefrog –
Great sound quality and easily integrates into the Sonos system. Mine arrived with a broken needle but they had a new one sent out promptly.
Otis –
Amazing technology & sound. Great addition to my entettsiment room!
Mark –
I purchased it to work with my Sonos system. It skipped constantly no matter how much I adjusted the two meager adjustments available. It also lost signal often. I returned it and would not recommend this turntable, especially for the price.
Stinkfist –
Did not work when i got it home….could be an isolated issue though
Butters –
I didnt think it was possible to make my sonos system sound bad. Not only did it sound horrible, but somehow it was able to reconfigure my soundbar and sub which took hours to get working again. Stay away. Truly not worthy of being a sonos branded product.
MP2018 –
Exceptional quality – having a turntable that syncs with my Sonos ecosystem has provided a new depth to my listening experience.
FranciscoR –
Looks great
Sounds really good.
Looks very nice, build quality is very nice
Looks nice on the furniture
But it does attract a lot of dust so if you have pets that might be a problem.
Their is a dust cover but honestly it looks ugly & cheap with it on and it doesn’t do much.
I would have liked a clear basic drop over plastic dust cover that covers the entire top or a flip up dust cover. For me running an extra large air purifier in the room I still found dust on this unit at all times. So it wasn’t fun to have to clean it every time I went to use it just to keep everything sounding good.
I honestly did have 1 major gripe which is why I returned it
While the records definitely sound really good I realized streaming the same exact song in another room on the same type of Sonos speaker sounded much better in it’s digital form and much noticably louder.
The record was much lower in volume output, it did provide a different audio experience, I don’t know if I’d say it was a better experience, just different.
The Victrola app was just ok.
So if your an audiophile and can’t let go of records this is an awesome add on to any Sonos system if you have the extra cash to burn.
I personally have enough high fidelity audio streaming services that I realized this wasn’t for me.

Solid build! Incredible features especially with Sonos products

The Victrola Stream Carbon was better than anticipated, connected seamlessley to my system. Rich audio. Easy install. Beautiful packaging. Sleek design very modern. Would definitely recommend as a mid entry level player.

Been waiting for some time for a turntable that will be fully compatible with Sonos. I’ve been a Sonos user since 2015! Such a user-friendly and self-explanatory system.
The Victrola Turntable is by far one of the best audio product purchased. Setting the turntable is super easy and fast. Very similar to the set up of a Sonos speaker.
Aesthetically, the look is clean and simple. Simply a modern look. The cover is good. Only thing I’d like was for the cover to be on a hinge so everything is in one place.
GaryS –
Great Quality turntable! Using it daily with SONOS which is awesome to have a turntable with SONOS built right in. Connects as a music source and plays either through SONOS speakers or through an amp to other sets of speakers!
Georges –
None of them were what I expected, good finishes but a lot of delay and constant interference.
BrandonW –
I really love my Sonos setup and I’m a child of the 70’s & 80’s so appreciate the nostalgia of vinyl, even though I’m a very digital-forward audiophile. So I was excited to expand my listening experience by re-introducing vinyl and felt this was the perfect fit for how I like to listen — app-based, sonos, lossless/uncompressed, etc.
This product really let me down. The only reason I’m not giving this a one-star is its sleek design and appearance. It’s very beautiful, and if you like an expensive piece of furniture, that’s about all you can expect.
Starting with the app, which is absolute garbage, I couldn’t get a decent connection to the device to set it up. I’m a technologist so this was not a user issue. I had to keep unplugging it and plugging it back in to try and “catch” the pairing in the app before the device would simply shut down. I was able to SOMEHOW get it set up, but could never see the turntable again, so whatever settings I gave it initially was what I got. I tried ethernet, wireless and that was it…but it was set up, and did play music so I went through a very detailed setup in Sonos, getting the EQ just right while it was playing, which brings me to the sound quality: it’s below average.
Keep in mind, this is on two Sonos Era 300 with a Sonos Sub, and all the tuning in the world couldn’t bring life to the sound. It just sounded flat, unclean, and muddled (especially in the mid-range). The highs were a distorted tinny sound and the bass was hard to hear due to a weird consistent hum at above-medium volume (yes, I reset the headshell).
In summary, it was a let down on a Saturday and I’ll be returning it (or exchanging for more Sonos gear). I remain unconvinced that vinyl is even viable…no offense to the vinyl fans out there, but I did a side-by-side track-to-track comparison and I can firmly say Digital > Analog, and it’s not even close.
EternalVinyl –
Whats not to love… Vinyl, upgradeable cartridge of endless selections, minus the tube rolling and biasing! This just works. Consistent, impressive sound, detailed and smooth & uncompromising. Get it, you’ll never regret it.
BookSeller –
Love this. It connects perfectly to my Sonos system without any extra hardware. Sounds great. Feels high-end.
KateeD –
For this amount of money- the needle which is a key part of the unit should not be falling out.
GymTV –
Works great, quality of sound amazing, and love the bunch with Sonos. Haven’t bought any other players so can’t tell if the price is worth the features & quality.
Adirondacker –
Great idea to have a turntable that connects directly to Sonos systems. Unfortunately, it doesn’t connect natively to Sonos, you have to go through a separate Victrola app that is buggy and drops connection at random times, or fails to connect without restarting the app. This makes the seamless connection idea fail half of the time. The turntable itself has a decent tonearm, but the platter and drive mechanism feel cheap – I think this is a $300 turntable with a big premium for native Sonos connectivity (that is janky and cumbersome to use). This was returned a few days ago – kudos to the customer service of Best Buy – they accepted the return without any concerns.
joseph –
Overall I love this turntable for the integration with Sonos. That being said it often has issues that I have to resolve. I have a great home network, but this thing sometimes just has streaming issues. I also have issues from the manufacturer that are manufacturing defects and was told to return it to Best Buy. I have never encountered a manufacturer that guided me back to Best Buy for cosmetic defects from manufacturing. Not sure I would purchase this again after returning it today while also looking for alternatives.
Tsutakawa –
Sounds pretty good. The app support has some weird stuff goin on though. tbh also why are we doing Bluetooth for vinyl? I use the RCA ports
