    Well constructed, something like this should be in everyone’s toiletry bag. Hotel bathroom lighting can be hit or miss, this mirror is large enough and bright enough to compensate, whether for shaving or applying make-up. A definite winner.

    Vanity Planet – LED Mini Travel Mirror – White

    The travel mirror lid opens and rotates to allow the lid to be the adjustable stand for the mirror. It is lighted having 3 types of lights – bright, warm & cool – that you activate by the touch button in the lower part of the mirror. If you hold-touch the button the light type you’re using will brighten or dim as you prefer. If you simply short-touch the button, it will go to the next light type. Finally, another short-touch will turn the lights off.

    It comes with a type A USB cable so you may plug it into a computer or a 5V power supply you may have to charge the mirror, but it does not come with its own charger . The battery is built-in. We purposefully left the mirror lights on for over 4 hours straight and the battery was still providing power. I didn’t leave the lights on until the charge expired, so I’m not sure how long it will power the lights if left on continually.

    The outer surface is a lighter gray plastic, and it hasn’t been used enough to know how well the exterior will clean up over time.

    The mirror does not have a magnification feature.

    The LED Travel Mirror is slim and easy to use and pack. Its approximate size is 5″x7.5″x0.5″.

    One proviso is that the mirror doesn’t fold back on its base all the way. My wife, who wears glasses, found that, after setting the mirror on the table and moving the mirror to its farthest back angle on its base, she had to move back from the mirror too far (without her glasses) to see her face completely in the mirror. She ended up having to elevate the base on something to raise the mirror up to see her face closeup without stooping down in the process. If the mirror portion folded back further on its base, this would correct this issue.

    One item that would be nice to be included with the travel mirror would be a simple open-end cloth sleeve where the mirror could slide into for additional protection when traveling.

    All in all, for the money, this is a versatile and useful travel mirror.

    The mirror is small and nice. The three different light setting is also nice.

    Taking one star off is because you can’t adjust the mirror and it needs to be propped up.
    Overall, it’s nice.

    This travel mirror is great. It charges using a USB cord. The cover flips over to become the stand, which can be adjusted in any position. The lighting is great and is easy to control with a touch sensitive button right on the mirror surface, which is very large. You can go from bright to dim in various hues (white to yellow). I never thought I would be excited over a travel mirror but this one has all the features needed for applying make-up or just viewing. Definitely recommend!

    The Vanity Planet LED Mini Travel Mirror is about the size of an average personal tablet. It’s similar in size to an Apple iPad Mini, but much lighter and thinner. In fact, the mirror is quite lightweight. This can be packed in a backpack, a carry on, or even a purse and you wouldn’t notice it.

    It will need to be charged out of the box. Because this mirror is designed for travel, I tried to see if it would charge on my Halo charger via USB (the mirror comes with a USB cable but not an actual plug). It would not. I needed to plug it into an actual power outlet in order to see the indicator light come on.

    [Small side bar – I’m concerned about the new standard with electronics coming with a USB cable and not a cord. On one hand, it’s great. They are compatible across devices, are detachable, and easy to store/pack. On the other hand, it’s another piece you may have to purchase if you don’t have a spare block to use or forget to pack one. This may charge in other USB chargers (I didn’t have a hub to test it) but it’s something to keep in mind.]

    The mirror folds out and stands up on its own. I didn’t like the angle, though, and that is not adjustable. I had to push the mirror back further than I would like to see my entire face comfortably and lost some of the benefit of the lighting options.

    There are multiple lighting options. I think it could be a bit brighter, but it’s still miles better than any hotel mirror I’ve used.

    The mirror does not have magnifying (or it’s so subtle that I don’t notice it). I have traditional vanity mirrors that came with a smaller 15x magnifying mirror for close up work. Those attach with suction cups. You could attach something like that to this mirror, but that’s yet another thing to remember if you are traveling.

    All in all, I think it’s a great mirror for its intended purpose. I look forward to using it on my next trip.
