It makes using multiple devices simple. I only wish the directions were more straight forward or had video assistance. Turning the beep off took two days of research lol

Best Buy~
Love the remote “BUT” is fails over and over, staying connected to components via sensor needs IMPROVEMENT I have had issue after issue, same problem does not work ~ It turns on the components TV and Volume and that’s it, Extremely FRUSTRED !!!!!!

remote is working fine, but charging base is not charging. geek squad found low battery on remote after being in charger for over a month, they charged remote in their truck in short period of time, and plugged power directly into remote temporarily and said get new charging base.

Michael, our Geek Squad tech, was excellent at programming this remote.

This $600 universal remote is not as robust as its predecessor or the programming is flawed. I have another appointment for next Thursday to see if it can be made capable of preforming the basic functions of my entertainment system.

My logitech harmony started acting up, and I could not find any other remote to replace it that could do the same thing, then I found this one. it’s probably the most expensive remote out there, but once it’s set up, it’s the best thing ever in my opinion. I really like it, and I have had it for a month or so. I have seen bad reviews about it because you need an expert to set it up for a fee, I totally understand the sentiment. That said, they are not designed to be set up by regular users like us commoners. As as I was told, and based on my own research, these are remotes that are used for big establishment with lots of TVs and other electronics that need to be controlled by a single remote. I took the dive knowing all of this. My advice, if you’re only using a 3 equipment set up, it’s best to use a regular universal remote like the insignia remote for 50 bucks from best buy, those worked really good as far as my experience. Overall, the remotes are the best at what they do, and if you have a best buy tech like the guys that I had, they will hook you up to your satisfaction. I really appreciate the geek squad guys expertise and professionalism, and so far I’m satisfied with the purchase.

Straightforward design, easy to use, and reliable. All in all a good product. Drawback – proprietary software needed to program new components.
Installation –
Easy to use, easy to charge. I wish the Salisbury, Maryland store offered this instead of cheap remotes that only work for a limited time.

Not sure if to blame the remote or service! Was never told that it has to be an agent to reconnect my cable box after it was dropped.
