    My stand had none of the QA issues some reviewers have shown. Paint, glue and edges were perfect. The rubber holds the laptop securely from sliding, and is at the perfect angle and height for me. But there is no latching mechanism to hold the laptop to the stand, nor to the desk top. I probably would look for these features if I had kids or big dogs around. I’m really puzzled by the use of “for MacBook” in the description. Maybe Twelve South thinks only Apple users can afford this pricey stand. Just measure your laptop width and see if it overlaps the stand horizontally. Just ignore the occasional moans emitted from the stand if you place a windows laptop on it.

    I loveeeee 12 south products. This stand is perfect for typing on my MacBook. Not uncomfortable at all I know most people use it for elevation for a Bluetooth keyboard. Nope its perfect neways.

    I can’t even explain how awesome this computer stand is. It is simple, out of the way and great quality. What I like about it is the grips on the ends and it holds the computer very well. Since it is so simple and not bulky, it fits perfectly on my desk and not in the way which is my favorite thing about it! The quality of it is great and very worth the money!!

    They really worked to get this at JUST the right height for your eyes. I mean, it is SPOT ON.

    Packaging is top notch. Unboxing is pretty high class.

    No QC issues here. It is solid, simple and angled just right to allow maximum air flow, It is also low enough to allow you to type on it if you need to .

    I love it.

    This stand is great for viewing while on stand, and terrific for placing while hooked up to dual monitors. Also great airflow, study construction and perfect fit. The only negative thing I would say is that it was hella pricey, but hey, I will never have to buy another one since it’s build so well, so there’s that.

    The best laptop stand. It holds my laptop perfectly. My laptop is MSI VECTOR GP66 / 15.6’

    Although it not folded, it is not that bulky when I’m carrying it.

    I use many GPU softwares and render a lot.
    It cools off my laptop while running these softwares.

    I love this stand. It’s simple and well-designed. Includes slim padding so the computer stays securely on the stand. The angle is great, so it keeps the monitor at a nice distance from me.     The new MBP 16″ fits comfortably on the stand. The rounded base gives you a bit more space to set additional accessories around the base. The angle sits at about the right height for me 6′ (avg torso size in std chair). One con is the USB C hub i bought does not have enough lenght in coord for it to neatly lay underneith the stand. I may end up using 3M velcro strips to attach to the back to reduce tension on hte USB C ports.

    All and all I love it

    If you have a wife like mine, this is fantastic. The slanted angle it holds the keyboard at makes it almost impossible for friends to pile garbage on top of the computer. Otherwise it is exactly what you would expect out of a bent metal computer stand.
