    I was kind of skeptical when I bought this because it looked like this was a return, so far so good. I was looking for a wifi extender that access point. This had exactly what I needed where I can change the Ethernet port as a input. I did this using the app for TP Link. I have two cameras and a mini split that uses the extender. They run great in real time with maybe a half second delay. This device saved my frustrations of a wifi extender. A little advice just be patient when setting up.

    I was told by staff this would get me stronger signal outside. It didn’t work. So, if you’re trying to do that, don’t get this.

    For reasons unknown, my wife’s laptop could not connect to the household wi-fi. The TP-Link RE505X extender solved the problem! Not a bad price, either, considering the improvement in our home environment.

    Needed just a little boost to extend my wifi to the basement, and this did the trick, worked like a charm. Now have full wifi coverage upstairs and in the basement. Got it on sale during Christmas, so was half price making it well worth it.

    this works i have my main one in the room and i have this in my living room. this can only go to 50mbps on a 5g and about 20mbps on a 2.4 still is all you need for web browsing and or netflix

    Works better than my old company provided pc internet adapter in my signal crowded apartment. Temporary fix until I upgraded the internet USB adapter itself. 300 mbps to 150 ish in best case scenario.

    Since I’ve been having trouble to get wifi in certain room in my home, I’ve been searching for a new wifi extender, and this was perfect, very simple to set up, you get the app and plug it in, pair it to your existing wifi and your done, I really do appreciate the Ethernet connection on the Tp-Link makes playing video games more enjoyable in my room.

    If you’re looking for a good WiFi extender then TP-Link is the way to go. I have used a few in the past and I have one set up at my residence. This one was set up at my friends and it works great for his needs considering the house is difficult for wireless signals. Speeds are strong, signal is great and very easy to manage with the Kasa app.
