    I bought this so my Christmas lights could be controlled without having to reconnect all the time . Not only is it extending my wifi coverage it definitely made everything I connected through it respond so muck quicker so far its only 2 months since purchased it’s really complemented my wifi devices .

    This extender has been a game in my house. My 2 story house was having issues receiving Wi-Fi signal throughout because the router is upstairs. Placing this at the base of my stairs has given my downstairs the ability to hold several devices, including streaming on my smart TV.

    Was a tad ‘unclear’ in the setup (this could have been because my router is also TP-Link) but once I was able to set it up it works like a charm – gives me a good -10db gain where I needed.

    We have Kinetic as our service provider. Signal with them is low at best. TV constantly cycling for signal, especially in the evening. Phone service with a different provider. Constant complaints when I’m talking on my phone that my signal keeps cutting out. Purchased this TP-link as a result of reading the reviews. Simple enough to connect. However…we are not seeing any noticeable difference in speed or connectivity. My iPhone 11 continues to cut out and the TV is not much better. Our modem is upstairs in the master bedroom. Put the TP link at the foot of our stairs. It’s definitely in a great midway point in our 2000 SF home.

    While connecting this extender, I discovered that my old router 5g was not working. Bought a new router, a TP-Link with the Onemesh system, now I have a 5g connection. Easy to set up.

    Would not recommend if u live in a rural area. We have hughes net and this would not help our internet at all. Although i have heard good things about this product.

    It’s good I did extend the WiFi just a little bit but not as much as I need it to and makes its own separate WiFi name instead of just using the same credentials

    Did not extend any bandwidth. I ended up going with a TP-Link W7200 Mesh 2 piece system. Unfortunately, it did not increase the bandwidth on its own, until I utilized my current Nighthawk AX6 router and ran the Mesh router through it. Have the 2nd unit next to my desktop and ran an Ethernet cable from the unit to my tower. Went from 500MB download to over 800MB, which I pay for.

    Bought this so I can extend my Wifi to the living room area and the outside cameras on the front of the house. Simple to use, easy to set up, I really like in the app that it shows what is connected and I can stop wifi for that certain device. Definitely recommend if anybody is looking to extend their wifi to other areas of the house.

    I am really disappointed in the performance of this range extender. The Geek Squad installed it, but it does very little to strengthen the signal. In fact, I still lose my wifi signal from time to time even with this device.

    I have poor WiFi strength in my office which is at the other end of the house from the router. With the extender, the signal is stronger and speeds are faster. Of course, it is not as fast as having the laptop near the router, but much faster than relying on the weak signal without the extender. This is what I expected. The range extender was easy to setup.
