Sexy fans. They come with 64 LEDs 30 groups are addressable which makes four unlimited color combinations.

These could be so amazing if Thermaltake gave a darn about their software. The fan controller is not fully compatible with Ryzen CPU’s which in my case meant having to unplug and plug the controller back in anytime the computer was restarted. The controller is inside the case so this is not feasible. This was the dealbreaker for me. Google issues with Riing and Ryzen and you’ll see people complaining all over TT’s forums.

In fairness, when the controller worked, the RGB and fan control worked well. The software looks like it’s from 2005 and it’s hard to use but once you figure it out, the RGB control is pretty insane. There are two “rings” of LED’s on the top and bottom, and then the center of the fan has a ring of LED’s as well. This means these fans are the brightest I have ever seen. I think they have around 30 LED’s total (Riing Quad has 54!). The effects are really cool and with all the LED’s you can really customize your colors. There is also separate creator software TT makes but I didn’t check that out.

In short, only buy these if you have an Intel CPU. I really wish I could use them with my build, but I will be settling for the Lian Li Uni fans instead.
