    Very hard to understand how to use. Often you think you have started the machine, but you need to clear all controls and reprogram. Even with extra dry, the dishes are damp. You will need to leave the door open after using to allow water to evaporate. There can be standing water in the bottom after the dishwasher runs the full cleaning/drying cycle and turns off

    Immediately after the dishwasher was installed and before the installer had left, I went to inspect the unit. When I opened the door, it almost came off in my hand. It wasn’t attached on one side, I assume due improper assembly. I was unwilling to take a chance on replacement with another unit of the same product. I returned the unit and ultimately purchased a different brand dishwasher.

    I absolutely love my Thermidor dishwasher. It is superior to any other I have owned. The drawers/shelves are well designed to hold more. I also love the additional 3rd shelf that holds the cutlery It is so quiet when I’m using it I have to check if the light is on to make sure it’s on. It cleans the dishes so well.

    So disappointed! Always wanted Thermador but my Kitchenaid dishwasher was much better. This one leaves dishes wet most of the time, it never seems like detergent is completely rinsed. There is no heating element. There is often an unpleasant smell from the time I got it. When I remove The filter at the bottom to be sure it’s clean there is always water just sitting in the drain. My Mom has same one in her newly built house and says she tried to warn me but our house already had it installed and I didn’t realize it was the same one she spoke of. Buttons are temperamental as well and often times I open it to discover it didn’t finish a cycle.I would not recommend this product at all.

    Flimsy construction. Drying agents necessary for even minimal drying result. Not as quiet as Bosch standard models. Rack design not particularly easy for loading. Generally not impressed with Thermador dishwashers

    We bought this dishwasher to replace a 10 year old model. After having used it several times, we like it’s ease of operation and quiet operation. We particularly like the way it holds dishes and it’s rack for silverware.

    Thermador dishwasher was installed 8 days ago. To date it hasn’t washed a single dish. Following directions carefully it always starts and its blue light comes on and then shuts itself off after one minute. Do not know it is defective or we were sent the wrong directions. We have Best Buy technicians scheduled to come and check it out on Dec. 27. Earliest we could get.

    This dishwasher has plenty of room and cleans your hard-to-wash pots and pans perfectly. I did have a leak a couple of weeks after it was installed and the geek squad came out to fix the problem which was easy. The extra sprayer was just sitting in the front basket and was blocking where the cleaning pod would drop in. No big deals the service was quick and he was very knowledgeable. I do love the remote start that is built in as well

    I have had a Thermador dishwasher before and this particular unit is the midpoint price for a Thermador. It cleans OK but it does not have a good dry cycle even though I use extra dry and it’s quite noisy. I would rather buy the more expensive Thermador dishwasher but unfortunately it is back ordered for many months so that is the reason why I decided to take this instead. I like the home connect functionality of it where I can do a remote start.

    Thermador Dishwasher purchased less than one year ago. Very disappointed. The machine inexplicably goes into “Demo” mode. Resetting the machine is stupidly complicated: hold reset resume for 3 secs until display shows 1 minute; close the door; wait for blue light at bottom of machine to go out; open the door; turn off machine; turn on machine; select cycle. Its ridiculous.

    I bought this Thermador dishwasher to replace a Bosch model that developed a mysterious leak after about six years of good service. (I would have preferred a Miele, which are reportedly much more durable, but there are simply none to be had anywhere.) If you like the industrial, pro-style look, this Thermador with its beefy bar handle fits the bill. Like any modern dishwasher, particularly a new one, this Thermador does a perfectly good job washing dishes — no complaints there. But it has several characteristics I’d classify as minor annoyances: First, it’s pretty noisy. You can hear it mumbling, grumbling, and sloshing away in the next room, so much so that if you’re watching TV after dinner you might have to boost the volume a notch or two. Second, the integrated controls to turn it on and off, select cycles, etc., are maddeningly difficult to actuate — there’s no haptic feedback and at most a feeble beep that’s difficult to hear (and sometimes not even that) when you press one of the buttons, if you can even figure out where on the perfectly smooth panel to put your finger. So I stand there, repeatedly mashing my finger on the control panel and only succeed in turning the thing on about fifty percent of the time. Third, you need a degree in electrical engineering to figure out how to connect the dishwasher to your WiFi network — a complicated, multi-step process involving those persnickety controls on the dishwasher, obscure codes flashing on a tiny LCD screen, a poorly designed smartphone app, and, just for good measure, the configuration settings of your WiFi router. So I’d give it five stars for appearance and washing performance, but just one star for noise and ease of operation, for an average score of three stars. By the way, a lot of people complain about modern dishwashers in general not drying dishes particularly well. My own experience is that if you use a sheeting agent as recommended (or plain vinegar), your dishes, utensils, and plastic containers will come out clean and spot-free, if not bone dry.

    It’s very very noisy dishwasher, i can’t even watch tv while dishwasher is running, inside racks don’t fit so many dishes and cookware, racks are not designed properly, it’s doesn’t dry dishes properly, I had ge cafe was very quiet and It was so much spacious compared to the thermador dishwasher, I would not recommend this dishwasher to anyone even though it’s free, maybe pay more and upgrade to higher models.

    The machine looks good and does a good job cleaning, and it was free with other Thermador purchases, BUT the touchpad is a pain because you have to push the buttons numerous times before they work, especially the “start” button, which has to be pushed anywhere up to ten times before it responds. Such a simple technology and so screwed up here.

    It’s tough to write an accurate review for Thermador. They cannot seam to live up to their delivery commitments. Every time I follow up with Thermador I get a different answer. I was told my dishwasher was delivering today 12/19 and when I called because it didn’t come in I was told it is 6-7 MONTHS out. This is the worst company that I have ever worked with period, I will never ever buy from them again.
