If you or your university student need a financial calculator for a business/finance class, the BA-II is the one to buy. It’s approved for most major standardized tests and most textbooks have step by step instructions for solving problems with it.

For a relatively inexpensive calculator it works fine. Just don’t like when the settings revert back to rounding up because it caused me to get problems wrong.

Mom821417 –
This product was exactly as described. I am using it for my Master’s Finance course and it is working perfectly.
Rosart –
It’s a nice financial calculator. It takes some getting used to. Some issues I have with it are the small window, lack of visible parenthesis, and the inability to “correct” mistyped keys. I tend to type very fast. I am also used to a 10-key pad with the numbers reversed to the calculator, and lighter keystrokes. These have made my learning curve a bit steeper.
