  1. SeanW

Used this tripod 5 times and the ballhead screw threads expanded causing the ball head to not reattach. If i could give this item negative stars i would. Best buy was no help whatsoever and they essentially said your out of luck. Garbage, thanks beat buy and sunpak for wasting my time

  2. Alii

Hard to use, stops slide constantly and don’t tighten enough to hold a large lens/setup.

  3. Benie

Is good tripod good and very handy for traveling specially for thighs spots

  4. DakotaG

Bought 1, got 1 use out of it before the threads on the head stripped, second one I got it happened again. Poorly made product and I want refund

  5. Haily

This tripod works great for the price. I was pleasantly surprised. The adjustments don’t slip so it stays at the perfect height. The only thing it’s missing is a level but my camera shows me when it’s level so I don’t personally need that. Great product overall.

  6. ElijahB

A fantastic tripod for the price. Nice and compact with reasonable height and stability.

  7. user741308

Horrible, so cheap it made my camera broke. It fell and yes the legs were stable. Also it was my fault to try to be cheap. I have a 3200 camera and tried to buy a cheap tripod. If it’s for a phone then maybe. But I wouldn’t buy it for a camera unless it’s an inexpensive camera. It’s easy to use just cheap and unstable.
    I wouldn’t buy it.

  8. CodyC

Does the job well, portable, knuckles are a little annoying but good for the price

  9. MoeF

Love this tripod, feels really solid yet light. Highly recommend. I use this tripod for my second camera during wedding filming.

  10. djjess

This tripod is very sturdy with good build quality. Its ability to fold into a very compact carrying size is a huge plus. I’ve read other reviews that say the screws on the legs become lose and have to be tightened after every use, but I have not had that problem at all after a month of heavy use I have not run into that problem. The only drawback I’ve found so far is the twisting mechanism to extend the legs makes set up take a little longer. The quick release plate also have a twist mechanism.

  11. Anthony

This tripod is very durable. I got it for my wife because our old one finally broke after a few years. She did not want to even try it because she saw the adjustment knobs being just that, knobs. I am glad I made her try it. The material and build quality of this tripod could not be any better for what we need it for. Everything is metal, the knobs have rubber so it is easy to grip to loosen and tighten. We have not had one issue with this tripod yet

  12. JessicaC

I bought the open box and it was missing a piece. I understand why it was over half off so I wasn’t upset about it. I ordered the original part that is was missing and it’s a great stand! I have a heavy camera and it works great. Very sturdy. It’s nice and I’m glad I made the purchase. The only reason why I’m giving it a 4 star instead of a 5 is because the missing piece. Would I buy it again? Absolutely would! Honestly, I recommend buying open box excellent condition because it saves you so much money.

  13. RodrickA

Works great. I use it with my Nikon D4s and a 24-120 f4 lenes.

  14. Carly

Only thing id mention is extending the legs out is kinda akward. You have to make sure they are all the same level & do it 1 at a time, 3x per a leg for a taller view for camera

  15. SheltonB

Very durable Tripod! And great features with adjustable options!

  16. DavidM

This tripod stores really well because it folds in on itself, has plenty of wiggle room for height for different shots. I definitely recommend this stand and couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

  17. TommyN

Very good entry level tripod for the average photographer. Probably not a professional level tripod, because those usually are hundreds of dollars. However, it has many of the same features as proffessional tripods at a fraction of the cost. Definitely recommend going for this tripod if you are a beginner or just want an all around good tripod. Wouldn’t recommend anything with less value than this. Especially when it comes to the legs manuverability and mechanism.

  18. GameReview

If you are looking for a durable tripod that is easy to hide away look no futher.

  19. Austin

Very surdy tripod that works for just sbout any situation. Fits easily in my my camera gear

  20. Jacko

Lightweight, folds up nicely, and extends tall enough for most shots.

  21. Natedowg2000

Little on the heavy side but relativly compact and very sturdy, i have yet to find a way to have it point at an 85 degree angle up but inhavemt played with it that much yet so i couldve forgotten to try

  22. Ramdas

Excellent quality and very handy to carry in flight

  23. Videogal

Great quality! It is easy to use and also easy to store. Has it folds up and goes in a small bag? Lightweight.

  24. Cool

I thought this thing was good for making YouTube videos with my expensive Sony camera, but you can’t tell if it’s secured properly. It comes loose you tighten cause you’re afraid of it dropping your camera
And the head comes right off. Cheap piece of plastic broke right off in my hands. The most important part of the thing is to hold your camera up, this could have easily broken my $3000 camera on several occasions. It worked for about 3 months at my computer desk before the head fell right off. I can’t believe they’d sell such a death trap like this.
Just make it so no matter what, my camera won’t fall off the tripod. That’s what I want. This had a metal pipe with threads that loosely wobbly fitted another metal pipe with threads. The delicate cheap threads wore out and it falls right off!!!!! No security- it’s like balancing your camera on top of a shelf hoping it won’t fall. Perhaps I can rig something to make it work again. It would be good otherwise

  25. MayraD

Easy to use but little plastic things fall out quickly when adjusting.

  26. Varo

Recently purchased this and it has been the best tripod I have used for my camera. It is lightweight, durable and can be very compact! You cannot go wrong with this one.

  27. Louis

Super sturdy, well built, camera feels securly attached. But it’s a little on the heavier side.

  28. Sandra

Not the quality I was looking for at this price point

  29. pvainer

When use is not good. The price is expensive about product

  30. JasonF

I wholeheartedly recommend this camera stand it is well-built, stable, and costs very little when compared to other big name tripods!

  31. Diana

I purchased the open box online & it was in pristine condition EXCEPT it was missing the quick release plate that holds your camera to the tripod. Not a huge deal on its own as it was significantly reduced in price because of said missing part. My only issue was no where on the Best Buy website did it list that. When I went to pick it up – it was noted on the package, so had I of bought it in store, I would have known. It would just be nice if there was a notice section on their website to list any important details such as missing parts. Otherwise in excellent condition & love that it comes with a carrying case!

  32. Sony35mmreview

Very good. Saved me when shooting fashion from a bad spot, used like a monopod. I wish it worked a bit better, easier with the head vertical, however I could learn to make this work with more practice. Being available on the store shelf was a major factor in this purchase.

  33. BryanM

The device was broken when purchased. The tripod head fell off with the camera on it. How do use tape to hold it in place to get the shot I need it would not buy this product again.

  34. Nckstagram

Terrible quality… the bottom parts of two of the legs fell off and now I have to use duct tape in order to use the tripod. There’s no way to contact the manufacturer via email… Save yourself $100+ and find a more reliable tripod.

  35. MatthewK

Excellent product worked with my camera well and definitely has good high adjustment also very versatile to work with other items like your phone a led light that has a 1/4 inch thread great product would definitely recommend

  36. MatthewMH

Love this item would recommend to my photo friends

  37. Abraham

Great Product! The Locks for the legs make it super easy for setups!

  38. Jawless

Its almost identicle to the Three Legged Thing tripods highly recomend this

  39. rjjones92

great quick tripod if your in a pinch or traveling. If you have larger cameras look for something a little different.

  40. Brent

I use this to sell live on whatnot, it’s sturdy and I can trust it.

  41. HOONIIGEN

I bought one myself and the girlfriend, excellent product

  42. Jode

Had to return, the head was not steady enough to hold my camera

  43. dakewlndn

Replaced my broken tripod of a different brand.
Light weight and appears to be very sturdy
Had zero issues after 7 photo sessions.
    Super easy to adjust

  44. PaulS

Nice, light and compact. Holds the camera just fine.

  45. RickC

PHENOMINAL tripod. its hard to travel with a tripod on planes for carry on so this is PERFECT

  46. DoriH

This is an amazing tripod. Small lightweight but super durable, extends and breaks down easy. Fits great in the backpack.

  47. yzev

good for photography and light, amazing functionality

  48. ShawnO

the big benefit of this is the small profile, being able to fit inside of my backback. makes traveling with it way easier.

  49. PeggyD

Works perfectly with our camera and makes taking pictures much easier

  50. RobertH

This tripod is very intuitive to use, folds compactly, and keeps a camera stable!

In particular, I found that the grips on the legs are quite good, and so I can often just shift the legs around to get the framing I want when the height is close-enough.

It’s also extremely compact for something that has this range of heights.

As for cons, I’d say it’s not a quick set-up — it takes time to adjust the telescoping legs, and in particular to get them about the same length unless extending all the way. Also very much a nit but I found that when tightening components on the poll it causes the camera view to drift up ever so slightly right before it locks in place — this only really matters with zoomed lenses, but worth considering when framing your shot.
