    It’s nice and sturdy as I have expected from Sony. The reason I only put 4 stars coz there’s no way to secure it while holding the unit with the camera. Since it’s a little heavy too. Someone can easily bumped you and drop it. It would’ve been nice to have a hook for a wrist cord for security like with the smaller gimbal/tripod or the camera itself.

    Very simply, it does a great job with all of its functions.

    Setup in-camera was quick and simple (using it with the ZV-E10). I have not had any issues with connectivity or button response as of yet.

    One plus to this shooting grip is: if you have your camera mounted on another tripod/stand/etc., you can use this as a your remote to start video or take a picture.

    It’s not a required purchase for your camera, but it is a useful addition.

    This is fantastic. I think this should be a required purchase for compatible Sony cameras. It connects instantly and I love that I can customize its functions. I use it with a Sony RX0-II.

    It’s very good quality. I use it with my Xperia pro-I.
    However, it can only do horizontal and sometimes I really need a tripod for holding my phone vertically.

    Handy item but seems to be for specific cameras only. It wouldn’t work at all with my FX3 and only some basic functions on my A7RV. This seems more made for the 7C sized/style cameras.

    I bought the Sony Wireless Bluetooth Shooting Grip and Tripod for my upcoming trip. It is one of the necessities for your vlog setup. The shooting grip is easy to setup and easy to use. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase from my favorite store, which has been Best Buy since 2007.

    Love this. I use it for my Sony phone. I took a star away because it could be more flexible when it comes to the neck. But most people probably use it for their cameras which if you did, you’d want sturdy in the neck. Could be a little longer though.

    The Sony remote was very useful with my Sony EV-Z10. I am able to start and stop record and take photos without having to use the actual camera itself which is very useful in unique situations.

    I was unsure if I should buy the official SONY Shooting Grip or go with a cheaper 3rd party grip. But this grip is as advertised in regard to the features included and it is surprisingly sturdy. Definitely spend the extra this officially licensed product, the grip has been very useful for my wife’s official company videos and social media uploads. I would highly recommend this product if it is within your budget.

    I purchased this to A Company, my Sony NZ-V1.  It’s absolutely indispensable. First of all it functions as a combined tripod or handheld for the camera. Most importantly, you can use it as a remote control. Either when it’s attached or detached from the camera as a pairs with Bluetooth. Moreover, you can take photos or video without having to switch the camera into the appropriate mode physically, and just use the buttons on the Remote, which is a Big timesaver. All in all it works as advertised and high quality.

Only knocked off 1 star because of it’s price. I feel $100 is a fair price to ask for this device, but you’re getting Sony workmanship at $139.
