    I just wanted to share my thoughts on the Sonos products. Overall, I absolutely love their sound quality and design. However, I recently purchased the Sonos Roam and I have to say I was pretty disappointed inty. It just didn’t live up to my expectations, so I ended up returning it. Despite this, I’m still a big fan of the brand and will continue to use their other products.

    These are so excellent for sitting outside by the pool! I considered getting the bigger Move but this was perfect. The sound quality is excellent (and loud). Ended up buying two to cover the yard. I needed a WIFI extender to help with the backyard so the sounds doesn’t drop but otherwise thrilled with my purchase.

    Return window passed and it has orange light visble sometimes. Maybe used aboht 5 times total. Doesnt power on and nothing else working. Absolute piece of junk and waste of 100 some dollars. Im not buying any other sonos product ever again. This has been the most frustrating experice in recent years when this product is supposed to work seamlessly with ease. I am so mad i just dont know what else to write.

    First, I already have several sonos products, with the soundbeam gen 2, sub mini and a pair of sonos SLs. I was wanting a Sonos speaker that I could take with me and that had Bluetooth. Speaker sounds great, and with an emphasis on voice clarity, which I prefer. Doesn’t get real loud, but I don’t care about that as long as it sounds good, which it does.

    We have a Sonos system with an Arc & subwoofer. The sound is great. We wanted to add a wireless speaker for outdoor listening & added the Roam. The connectivity through our WIFI is inconsistent. After a long troubleshooting session with Sonos tech support, they determined that our Verizon router incorporates an “extender” (model CR1000A) & that extender conflicts with the Roam. Their suggestion was to upgrade the router, but we have no issues with the WIFI otherwise. I discovered that you can connect the roam by Bluetooth instead, and it works more reliably.

    This little speaker packs a punch and it’s a SONOS! What more do you need? It’s easy to travel with. If you’re hanging out by the pool you don’t have to stress since it’s water proof. I now buy these as gifts because they are so awesome.

    We love Sonos speakers and the new Roam doesn’t disappoint! It was a gift for our daughter so she could connect her devices in her room and also have a speaker to go. The team members at best buy helped me find an open box option which helped on the price and make this a no brainer. Sonos are our go to speakers and we’ve had great luck with them through Best Buy.

    Growing up a huge fan of Bose, I have come to the realization that Sonos has the best speakers on the market.

    I purchased the Sonos Roam for an outside deck, installed under the eaves to protect it. I had a long USB cable already there, to keep it plugged in 24/7. That never worked as the juice was never strong enough to charge it. I gave up doing that as the battery life is decent. The sound is great relative to its size, but it still can’t beat my JBL Charge3 in sound. The Sonos fits the bill, and am pleased with it.

    Never mistreated, kept indoors, never left the house, looks like I bought it yesterday, and it died within 16 months.

    Sonos’s response is to mail it back to them and they send a 30% coupon for a new one. No repair option. Even at 30% off this is an expensive speaker compared to others. A premium product like this shouldn’t fail in such a short amount of time and if it does the manufacturer should stand behind it.

    When I was searching for a fix, I can say others have had this brick on them as well.

    I’m not replacing it. Terrible value.
