For right now all I can say is don’t buy certified refurbished. I received it and when I plugged it in it doesn’t come on. I tried multiple outlets that I mnow work and nothing happens. So I’ll return to the store tomorrow and update my review once I get a working device connected to my sonos network. At this time I wouldn’t recommend but I’m sure that will change after I get a unit that works. I love all sonos products that I have which includes playbar, 2 play 1’s and a sub. So I’m confident the sonos boost will be no different and like I said ill update my review tomorrow.

I don’t notice any better quality in the wifi when I put my speakers in the next room.

I had some issues with a couple of Sonos speakers around the house occasionally disappearing from the system. I added in a Boost, and everything has worked seamlessly since. For the amount I have invested in Sonos speakers, this was a no brainer.

Bought a new pay-as you-go phone. Working really well due to patient sales person’s ability to set up phone and walk me through all the changes I learned.

Upgraded from the Bridge to the Boost. I haven’t noticed a difference, so I suppose it works great.

Bought the refurbed Sonos Boost. It works just as intended and frees up the home network while giving a dedicated Sonos network.

I’m a huge fan of other folks returning stuff, BBY refurbishing it, & me saving $. I’ve got 30+ Sonos speaker in my house. I needed 4 Boosts strategically placed throughout to make sure I don’t lose connectivity. Boost works for me!

It works decent. I am a Sonos fan and they do a good job of building good products.

Bought the boost to replace the brige and I love it enhanced my sonos sound.

I was wary of purchasing a refurbished item, but it looks like and functions just like a new item.

Fixed my system and the “drops”. A perfect investment is you have a Sonos in your home.

I realize that I was purchasing a refurbished item… I have done it many times. The minor marks, blemishes or missing docs, box etc.. no worries. This item had a broken button that was clearly not working or attached to link this to your system. I guess this time i should have just spent the extra money. I have never had a bad experience with buying these items from BB.. I guess i should think about it more carefully..

Excellent product. Works great! Works great! Works great!!!

After setting up this device I have no more music/sound interruptions. Simple to setup and worth the price. All speakers go through Sonos router device which is plugged into Ethernet.
ChopperFan –
Never had any issue with any refurb or open box product with BB

After researching and finding out that this helps our speakers connect it was a no-brainer. After purchasing this we no longer had connectivity issues.
ToolTime –
I was experiencing some intermittent dropping of Sonos components and decided to give this component a try. It was fast and easy to install…no more dropping or connectivity issues to report. Solved my problem quick and easy.

The sonos boost does a great job of stabilizing the Sonos network, especially when you have many components located in different areas of your home.

I understand that refurbished items often don’t have packaging, or even manuals, but I received the one I ordered without even a power cord. A replacement cord cost more than the refurb item discount.
Apparently, buying “certified refurbished” items on Best Buy is not a smart move. Returned it.

Great for uninterrupted connection on sonos speakers
