    This device only works for 2 pronged Fuses. I have a 2021 Bronco that uses 3 prongs so this didn’t work for me. Same happened for my buddy’s car it’s a 2021 as well.

    This is required if you want to allow your Rexing dashcams to be able to detect and record parking lot bumps/jolts. I jist wish it was included with the camera.

    Not only was this item a couple of days late but when I opened the box I found the item in a zip lock bag. The item had obviously been installed in another car. It had zip ties on the wires. The wire ends were cut off and had used crimp connections. Also included a hand written note that pretty much stated they were unclear if it worked at all. Seriously Bestbuy. I spend thousands with this company and you send me somebody’s used broken item when I clearly purchased a new one.

    This kit is necessary so you don’t sacrifice an auxiliary power outlet to use the dash cam system. Works as intended.

    I ended up purchasing a new vehicle shortly after buying this item. Because the item is incompatible with my new vehicle and it is now beyond the item’s return date, I will not be able to use it. While it is my fault for not realizing this item would not work with my new vehicle and delaying installation, I really wish the item’s return period was a bit longer. My recommendation: do not buy this item unless you are ready to install it immediately.

    Very poor installation instructions, had to use YouTube as a source of information. Also kit came with only set up for standard ATC fuses while many vehicles use micro2 fuses which meant I had to purchase additional fuses and fuse taps which severely delayed the installation.

    Easy to install after some research. They definitely give you extra cable length so you should have plenty. I prefer to have dash cam hardwired so its not taking up an accessory port. Gives a clean look too when cables are hidden

    It sucks. I give you my business and when I need to ask questions I get an AI with voice prompts that make no sense. Someone there needs to rethink the call center. Like having human interaction

    Bought these accessories to go with the rear view camera (REXING M2) i purchased. They help hide the wiring throughout the car making it a very neat setup. I had best buy install the camera with these accessories and they did an amazing job. I am extremely pleased with the entire setup. Only thing to mention, when you purchase the rear-view camera – make sure you get the needed accessories for the installation. I didnt and had to go back again for the install once i purchased them. I wish best buy would have told me this when I bout the rear-view mirror/camera.

    I have had it for a year so far and it still works great. It was also compatible with my Honda vehicle. I wanted it so that I didn’t have to plug the power into the cigarette lighter each time I entered my vehicle.

    Shopped a lot of different products; bought the Max with no regrets. Got the smart hardwire kit and let Best Buy install it.
    Parking mode can monitor. Max often on sale for about $200.00. Rexing and Best Buy support are excellent too.

    Not much to say here it is as advertised. Professional install recommeded. Helps keep your dashcam powered while hiding wires for a clean lookong install.

    This hardwire kit works well. I have installed one in both my vehicles. They require a bit of planning on how to route the wire properly, but took me about an hour on each vehicle to install. It frees up the “cigarette lighter” for other accessories. As well as it hides the wire going to power the dash cam.

    My Rexing V1P Plus 4K records randomly when the car is parked. I bought this smart hardwire kit which is supposed to turn the unit on when the vehicle is turned on and turn it off when the vehicle is turned off, which it does randomly. I end up with hours of footage of my garage. This fills the card up fast and the camera glitches out and stops recording when it’s full. I might suspect that I had the yellow and red wires switched, but it’s random and does not always record while parked. It only has three wires and the black one is a ground so there aren’t many ways to wire it wrong.

    This was needed for the installation of my back up camera in order for it to be hard wired. I didn’t want to have to plug it in the cigarette lighter & unplug it. It makes all the difference!
