    When I unboxed this item it had scratches on the top and a dent in the door. It operates ok so far. I called customer service and they said only the store could help me but that they couldn’t connect me to them. Wish I had ordered from Amazon instead.

    microwave works well so far. salesman was a complete zero. delivery was terrible. we were told we would be called 30 minutes before delivery. this did not occur … microwave was left on our front porch (clearly visible from the street). i had to get help to bring the microwave inside the house, remove the old unit and install this one. the delivery personnel were long gone and unavailable. also, the shipping crate was battered on several sides … but the microwave appeared undamaged once we opened the carton.

    I only had this product for about a month and it works great so far. No issues with the setup and it’s a nice heavy duty microwave. My previous Sharp Carousel microwave lasted for approximately 20 years before it stopped working. Great brand!

    Replacement for the Sharp purchased in 2005.
    Miss the “Breakfast” and “Rice” features that were on my old one.
    Sharp customer service wasn’t much help when I asked about some cooking settings (which were automatic under the Breakfast button on the old one) that weren’t in the instructions.
    It seems to work ok. A little noisier.
    Not many models in stock when I need a replacement.

    I bought this microwave because it was the size I needed and it was supposed to be 1200 watts. It is very weak. I normally microwave my coffee for 1 minute 30 seconds and it’s super hot. With this unit I have to go at least 2 minutes and it’s not as hot as I would like. Pot pies will not cook properly, it takes forever to reheat leftovers. Baked potatoes take about 12 minutes. Definitely disappointed in this unit.

    Like it a lot. Easy to install: just plug in cord. Easy fit. Dependable: had my last Sharp Carousel for 20 years. Both 1200 watts, but this one seems to take a little longer to cook.

    Door activated light and cooking options only became functional after repeated hard slamming of the door, which mysteriously must have aligned the door posts with inner system.

    This microwave oven is the worst! It DOES NOT WORK! After about a week of very light use, where it did not work perfectly every time, it now goes on for 1 second and then shuts off. I’ve tried many different settings, but that is what happens. I’m so upset because I also bought the wall trim kit and had the whole thing installed at great expense. Sharp used to make good microwave ovens. That is why we bought this one, but it looks like their quality and quality control has gone downhill significantly. What a huge waste of money!

    I orded this microwave to replace a Model 530 that was installed as a built in. While I ensured the outside deminsions were the same, I failed to realize the location of the “feet” on the new unit were different. That fact made the existing built in hardware useless! The control panel is not lit so make sure you have bright lighting before use.

    The Sharp Carousel is a great replacement for our last Microwave. The size is perfect for our large family and user friendly for all ages. The Sensor Reheat is not always accurate, although it’s spot on most times.

    Great microwave. Plenty of space to cook what feels like a turkey, with a large, sturdy turntable. Also love that when it’s done cooking, it doesn’t continue to beep.

    Seems to be working well so far. Points off are mostly because for as much as it costs it came with a missing leg. Easily mitigated with some cardboard underneath, but that definitely feels like something that shouldn’t have been an issue.

    After purchasing this microwave, it died in just 7 months. It randomly shut off and would go dark. I contacted Sharp (one of the worst companies I have dealt with in a long time) and after several emails they sent a replacement unit.
    Fast forward to nearly two years later to the day, and the wave guide burns up. This is the small piece of metal on the right side of most microwaves. Needless to say a scorch mark, flashing at the waveguide and melted interior plastic was obvious. Of course I unplugged the microwave and contacted Sharp again. They asked for pictures. After several rounds of “customer service” they escalated my case. Now they are trying to dismiss it due to the microwave not being clean enough.
    If you want to USE the microwave for anything other than looking at it and a clock, I suggest you avoid this brand at all costs.

    Good microwave and good value. Spacious. I like the quick option for the first few numbers to just press a button to microwave for that number of minutes. If you want a different amount of time just press time cook and input your time.

    Love this microwave. Going on 3 years now and no problems. Love the fact that i can just touch 4 and start and will go 4 mins lol up to 6 mins without having to hit time first. Works great i usually knock of 30 sec to a min when cooking because ot heats food fast.

    I would give it a no star review but it’s not an option.
    bought it in 2-19 with a 2 year warranty. I shouldn’t have paid that either.
    I warm or cook anything for 5 minutes and then it shuts off and needs to be reset!! DO NOT BUY!!

    Have been using this microphone for awhile now. One of the best I’ve ever had. Took a hot minute to figure out some of the bells and whistles ( only because I didn’t read the manual), but now use them almost exclusively.
