  1. Sharkbot

So far so good. It does what it’s suppose to do. The only thing i have to do is make sure every thing is off the ground so it can vacuum

  2. Katief

The vacuum is perfect bteer than the other ones.out there

  3. T123

The app doesnt always work so well, but the vacuum does a great job of cleaning, and works great with pet hair.

  4. TONYLISA

Was easy to setup.. worked perfect the first few weeks… seems to get confused now. Also has a mind of it’s own.. starts by itself at random times.

  5. zsjhqs

very suitable for my house, plan to buy another one

  6. Spontaneous

So much better than the bobsweep experiment we tried first. If you’re going to buy a robot vacuum, do yourself a favor and buy one with laser / lidar, that can actually map and be aware of it’s rooms/spaces. The speaker/voice on this unit is a little quiet, and you need to use the mobile sharkclean app to really get the most out of this unit, but it works very well so far.

    ⚠️ WARNING ⚠️
Product requires mandatory registration to use app-enabled features, a fact that I’m generally not a fan of, but understand in some cases where it’s necessary.

  7. Poorsha

Very much quieter than older vacs we had, and it cleans better. I like that if fits under furniture and does not bang into objects. The app is easy to view and use.

  8. Overtok

Was a little hard to connect to wifi but overall a good product. Picks up all the cat hair

  9. Timothy

Cleans well. Has three modes to choose. Eco mode is quiet but not as much suction. I think it’s a great feature we have used a good amount. Goes to its dock and charges. It actually does, unlike two other brands we have tried in our home. Fantastic value for the price.

  10. Cranickh

I love this! I have an area rug that has a thicker pile and it runs right over it! Its so nice having to come home to clean floors. I have 3 dogs, 2 cats and a toddler and this makes my life easier by having one less task as home. I still use my Shark upright vacuum about once or twice a week on the rugs but this robot vacuum helps with upkeep of pet hair and crumbs from my toddler

  11. David

Cleans better than previous model. Very happy with this unit

  12. Sportslady

I love Freddy (nickname)! I only wish Freddy could remember (2) maps instead of (1). 🙂

  13. HAlejandroBG01

EXCELLENT PRODUCT, THE SYSTEM IS IMPRESSIVE, HOW IT DETECTS THE WALLS AND OBJECTS, CLEANS VERY WELL, YOUR WORK IS NOTICED, 100% RECOMMENDED

  14. LIsaB

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she was delighted to receive kt. She did have problems with it and Shark sent her a brand new one. This vacuum is very powerful and organized.

  15. Jackie

Let me start by saying this , haha, I was totally skeptical that this would work as I wanted it to due to the fact I had a dog that sheds soooooo much and when i broom it’s impossible to get every Hair. BUT this met my expectations and more! I love to walk barefoot most of the time and let me tell you how impressed I was when I got up once it was done cleaning to feel my floor so clean ! 10/10 would recommend to anyone with high traffic in their home or fur babies. Oh and my first run of “baby zhark” was amazing. My dust bin had so much hair and debris in it. It was astonishing. Worth EVERY penny, thank you !

  16. CJH13

Easy to assemble, looks killer, we have a new puppy so we have not constantly run it yet. Will come back with more comments on that.

  17. jlhemcmis

I waited a few weeks to get some “miles” on this before I reviewed it. 4-STARS, only because it goes back to the dock @ 60% battery. Lots of reviews have said the room-mapping was bad. Not in my ranch style house, which has: 6 rooms, 2 hallways, and 2 baths. After the initial exploratory run the AI had the basics. It only improves and adapts as it runs each successive Clean operation. Only thing is me having to remember every time to empty the bin, right? This is a must do, especially if you run in “MAX” mode. Others have complained, “It is So Noisy”. Compared to what, a “real” vacuum? Not even too loud in MAX. Nothing to watch TV and have this thing do the housework. Supposedly it is Alexa and Google compatible. But, it has its own App anyway.

The Shark Clean App (i.e. the vacuum) setup was easy, once I followed the instructions EXACTLY. But there are limitations that make the operation less than. Editing Rooms and Zones sort of corrupted the MAP and I had to start over. In the end, if you don’t ask TOO much, you can really get all you need.

Oddly, the RV2001 robot AI seems to see my dog and follow it around. I’ve really only run the Clean Full House once or twice. There is a Scheduling feature in the App that will someday get used, but for now I like the interaction and manually pick rooms to clean a couple at a time due to the battery issue. Maybe my timing is just lucky but I can walk in a room and tell it to go do the hallway, and IT DOES! It was going to anyway, but…

I am fighting the urge to give it a name and ask it to dinner. If it could just scrub toilets.

  18. Catblue00

Love this vacuum! I love that I can have it vacuum anytime from the app on my phone. Does a thorough job cleaning! Leaves pretty neat and tidy lines in the carpet. The house just feels cleaner while I’m not able to vacuum from doing other stuff around the house or while I’m at work

  19. Guyy

One of the best purchases I’ve ever made. It’s been life changing.

  20. Justin

After initial set up, you run a quick mapping of the house. Very accurate floor map. From there, very easy to create rooms on the map. This vacuum will not bump in to the wall like older style robot vacuums. Very efficient, row by row and does a great job. The only draw back is the design of the dust cup is faulty. It collects hair and debris and it’s hard to get out unless you physically scrap it with your finger. Which is gross and shouldn’t have to happen. Based on videos of others, they have the same issue. I hope that Shark rectifies this issue in future generations/models of robot vacuums. Otherwise, I cannot complain!

  21. Coffeedrinker

Makes cleaning easier. It took a two set up runs go map out the house but after that performed better than I thought it would. Has good suction power. Don’t expect it to be faster than regular vacuum, takes about 90 minutes to vacuum my whole house. You can choose your areas you want vacuumed. Very happy with my purchase.

  22. Jrich

Does an ok job. Fills up quickly on berber, and gets stuck a lot.

  23. JustSomeGuy

I had a Neato Botvac Connected before getting this. Neato’s app is a lot better, doesn’t require me to constantly log into it like Shark’s does for some unfathomable reason, and the mapping was a lot more precise. Shark’s mapping is much less accurate.

But it does a pretty decent job at cleaning so I guess we’ll keep it. It’s not as good as the Neato at cleaning edges that have dirt or debris though, so around the cat’s litterbox it can leave litter behind near walls. It also seems to take slightly longer than my Neato to clean the same area.

It doesn’t bump into things as much as my Neato did, which is good and bad because it could easily go a little closer to edges without bumping into them I think.

If it weren’t for the annoying App, it would probably be a 4 star device.

So far nothing has broken on it after almost 2 months. The whole reason I bought this was because of how unreliable my Neato was.

  24. ChefMan

I bought this for my son and his wife. They are busy people and their upright vacuum has been broken and operates with difficulty but they are frugal, and the price was right, so I spent the money and they lovelovelove it. They are over the top delighted and say it’s the best household gift ever.

  25. 3dvizwiz

For the price, this little robot vacuum performs (and then some). The Shark app is great, easy to use, and while I’ve read some reviews that it’s loud, it’s certainly quieter than my previous Neato, and so I’m very happy.

  26. Beefcat

Like most Shark vacuums, funtions and cleans well. Software, however, needs a lot of work. Starts and stops outside of scheduled times, along with other software glitches. Nobody likes being woken up by their robot vacuum repeatedly in the middle of the night.

  27. Emily

Seriously had high expectations and it did not disappoint. Easy to put together and get started! Fits nicely in a corner and is extremely smart and rarely bumps into anything. I have a lab who sheds A TON and this has helped us with allergies from all the hair in the house. I end up dumping out a full tray pretty much each time it goes around the house!

  28. Sharklove

Love it! Set it off at 3 am daily and wake up with a clean house!

  29. Myappleformychildren

I brought this vaccuum robot for my mom. She is 93 and can’t sweep like she use too. She programs it for 2 days a week..it works wonders.

  30. KathyB

For vacuuming this is a 5. It keeps disconnecting from the APP and I have to delete robot and add again. I have slick tile floor and the mop can not move after the mopping pad gets wet. Its like a car trying to get out of mud. I gave up on the mopping feature but worth keeping for the vacuum.

  31. Nelly

Works really well when used properly. We have a very cluttered house with 3 children and it is able to navigate around almost everything. There is the occasional hiccup where he gets stuck, but we don’t blame it. The app notifies you and you take care of it. It can clean in the middle of the night however we’ve found that it can have difficulty finding its dock afterwards so we typically schedule cleaning for mid day where it has light to assist in navigating.

We schedule cleaning one room a day by using Alexa. Hopefully the app will continue to be updated as it still is limited.

  32. NoGM4me

Great little machine. Setup is a little weird. When he maps he adds a bunch of rooms you have to delete and adjust. Once it’s set up it’s great.

  33. Dave

Cleans a lot better than anticipated. Very quiet. Better than my old Roomba

  34. Tyler

This is a good vacuum. My wife and I are hard on vacuums we like are home to be vacuumed a couple times a day. It has kept up good.

  35. TuscPhil

I received the RV2001 as gift. The unit seems to vacuum good but the mapping app is the poorest I’ve ever seen. The robot will often get lost and then run out if power trying to get back to home.
If it just has to do one room, it seems to find its way back home but if its two on other side of the house, you will have to carry the criter to home base

  36. radio

love it!!! I have a friend that bought one – so I wanted to try it.

  37. Nobreak

This vacuum is the best. It is a life saver. My home 90% carpet and cleans all my rooms.
Once you get your home mapped, you can pick which rooms to clean per the app and the Shark does it job. I am very happy with my purchase.

  38. erixo

Way cheaper than Roomba but it does the job so well! I bought a Roomba first and returned it because it didn’t have the room-by-room navigation. I’m so happy I ended up buy in this one.

  39. RokuReview

Love it, upgraded our previous Shark to this one and not disappointed at all. Wish I would have done it sooner

  40. Hhhh

Works great. I have animals and it cleans the hair off the floor great

  41. GamerStud

Love it! So convenient and it works really well. It saves me so much time.

  42. Zeke

Works pretty well but sometimes the sensor doesn’t track the obstacles and unit gets hung up

  43. Sydney

So far, so good with this. It keeps my house spotless!

  44. Neelu

I gifted the roomba to my daughter who has no time. She leaves it to work and comes to a clean apartment.

  45. LittleChipper

Great robot vacuum. Replaced an old I-Robot and this works better than the I-Robot and has a larger bin.

  46. Theshark

Fantastic machine cleans very well. The sharks bristles catch up pets hair fantastic. I would recommend to any pet owners, even short hair you will be amazed.

  47. EllisD

no more dust particles floating in air after sweeping! we run it 3 times a week and couldnt be happier

  48. Hanna

It can act dumb sometimes BUT it picks up hair very well. It has trouble picking up little stuff though. But I almost have a 100% hair free home

  49. KentuckyFab

Works great on low pile carpet and bare floors. I do not recommend using where you have high transitions between flooring types (I.e. carpet to hardwood or tile).

It tends to “yeet” itself up onto objects instead of noticing their presence, then gets stuck and cannot continue vacuuming unless you physically move it – which completely defeats the purpose of running it at my office at night!

  50. John

    Bought this in “22”
Over all does a decent job cleaning
The App sucks. Cant access it to change parameter. We re arrange furniture every once in a while and we cant remap the area. Loses connection often. Has issue finding the doc as well. Sometimes gets lost under the couch. Not stuck just loses
Wouldn’t buy again since the app doesnt work right.
Also, I bought thinking “self cleaning meant it was one that emptied itself. This is not the case. My mistake but I feel the description was a little deceptive.
