    Works great at “normal” temperatures. The spring button on the back to open the two sides to fit the phone does not always open and has to be ‘helped’ until it gets warm in the car. In very cold weather the two side arms have to moved to the side manually. It however holds the phone in any direction and is very solid and does not rattle.

    Yeah, I bought one for my work truck, and it is great. I bought a crappy one for my personal vehicle, and ended up buying this one again, as it works perfectly. It has an easy release mechanism, and a trigger to immediately clamp the phone, when you insert it. Also, it has a bottom bracket which keeps the phone from slipping out. The crappy one didn’t have these features, and my phone dropped to the floor by my feet when I hit a bump (BB, why do you even sell the lame one?) Don’t waste your money on other designs. This mount holds your phone securely, and instantly, so you spend less time screwing around with the device. The mount swivels and bends easily, so you can orient the phone to your needs. Great value compared to the crappy one which was priced the same.

    I like the versatility of this product. It holds multiple different phone types of various sizes. The suction on the glass is 100 stars in my book because it has never once fallen down. I suggest this product to a lot of my friends and family who use their phones as navigation.

    Didn’t really have a chance to use this until recently. Sticks to my windshield like a “champ”. Now I don’t have to keep on repositioning my phone in the center console.

    This holder sticks well to windshield. It has not fallen off even when I adjust it. I can place it at just the perfect eye level.

    We got this item for my husband use, but to my personal opinion, the clamp to open to release the phone is a pain…not really to my liking. I would’ve rather use the one with a magnet. Other than that, pretty good.

    Ultimately returned it. There are other stands that hold better or are more universal fitting, or are cheaper.

    It holds phones pretty well but not made for all car types. My dash isnt flat enough nore has the right kind of material to stick the thing in the exact apot that i want it in and i constantly experience the whole thing falling off if i touch it in the wrong spot or grab my phone too quickly. It sucks because this seems to be the only that will actually hold my type of phone.

    This car phone stand I bought was a total waste of my hard-earned cash. It just won’t stick to anything in my car, which is a major safety hazard if it falls while I’m driving. And to top it off, it’s huge and clunky, which I thought would make it more stable, but boy was I wrong. Unfortunately, I tossed the box and lost the receipt before testing it out, so I can’t even get a refund. Lesson learned – always keep your receipt handy in case you need to return something. Save your money. I hate to say this but I would give this product a zero if I could.

    So I got this thinking find a good place for it I didn’t know it came with a vent piece and fit perfect I have 2012 Audi a6 and the MMI screen comes out right next to it

    This unit is well made and seems fairly heavy duty. The only thing is that I was hoping this was going to work for my GPS, but it doesn’t work for my Garmin Smart Drive 65, the GPS unit is too large for the holder and slips out of the holder, but again, that’s not a knock on the holder, it just didn’t work for what I was intending it for.

    I received It and it was broken but still worked and when I went to rotate it, it completely broke (my fault). Im sure it was the one device but I cannot give it a good review.
    I could have gone back into Best Buy but I was irritated and just wanted to get home.
