Good quality for the price. If you bought two stands that are of similar quality and a cross bar it would probably be around the same price but you get a carrying case for easy transport so I’d say it’s worth getting this kit.

The Port -A-Stand is what you would expect for the price. It’s functional. The carrying case is a good ideal, however the zipper broke on it the first time I used it. So now the carrying case is useless.

It’s not the sturdiest one but also not the flimsiest one. So quality wise somewhere in the middle – priced correctly.
One biggest minus is the included bag. It’s not worth even 5 bucks. Came alrwady with holes and the zipper is totally underdesigned – it’s designed for wallets if…

I’ve been using the cheap background support stands you can get off EBAY. They are OK for a couple of project but just don’t hold up. This Savage stnd was well reviewed on a number of site. It’s a huge improvement and fairly robust. I’m using it at the full 10ft opening with a muslin backdrop and it’s very stable, with only a minimal sag in the middle. The lateral rod locks closed but does not need to be locked open. In fact to get the pins to line up it should not be locked. Available at a very good price from BestBuy.

This stand is much better than my last. Sturdy and easy to use.

Easy to setup and use. Great value for the money. I think it was a good purchase

Really 4 5 stars. Its an excellent product, but not very heavy duty. One really great feature is the pole for the backdrop is variable length. This makes it easy to mount backdrops of various lengths.
The carrying case is poor quality, but I expected that given the low price point.

I needed a basic backdrop kit to really dive into product photography as well as headshots, but I wasnt ready to invest in something too expensive before Iearned how to use everything properly. I think this kit is a great one to start out with. It’s pretty decent quality and the price is doable if you don’t have a huge budget. I would definitely recommend this to any photographer, whether new or seasoned.

A little flimsy when pushing the height or width but still a great product for the price. Glad I bought it!
