This Stands are great. With all speaker stands, if you have kids or pets, they can be knocked around. I have a set of Streem SR-490’s, these speakers weigh 12 lbs, and the stands hold them quite well.

There alot of speaker stands around with several speaker companies offering their own stands. This our third set of Sanus metal stands, all of which are great. They’re are well constructed, heavy and nicely finished. They will work well with hefty speakers. Importantly, these Sanus stands don’t add to or detract from the speakers’ sound. They do what they’re designed to do because of their design and great acoustic isolation. You can find less expensive speaker stands but this is one of those places where “you get what you pay for.”

Well built easy to assemble. My speakers do not have screw mounting on the bottom , the rubber pieces that protrude to hold them are adequate but could be better.
bestbuyfan –
Well-made bookshelf speaker stands. Solid steel construction provides excellent and stable foundation for speakers. Spike feet work well on thick carpet. Nice finish. Assembly not difficult.

The game seems to go on forever. Great graphics, you determine the story line.
Fogscent –
The stand it self is very sturdy and very well made, the instructions where not clear and very hard to follow though
asianOC –
it looks pretty good, solid, strong, stable stand for Pioneer Elite bookshelf speakers, satisfied
HappyGilmore –
Not much to say. Assembly was straightforward. With a fair amount of shaking the stand will wobble so might not be a bad idea to add sand when setting up.
saxonpaul92 –
Glad I purchased them as they are exactly what I was looking for.

These are nice sturdy speaker stands and can hold some pretty heavy bookshelf speakers! My only complaint is that I wish you could conceal the speaker wire inside the stand instead of running along the outside of the stand.

They fit my Tannoy monitors like a glove. The option to use the supplied rubber items rather than the spikes is good for the wife acceptance factor (WAF). If we decide to go audiophile I will incorporate the spikes, but the system sounds very good as is. Assembly was not difficult, but take time to get it right. I did not fill with sand. They are not terribly heavy, but have good mass without adding any ballast. If I were to use them in a dedicated listening room I would fill them and use the spikes, but whether I would appreciate an additional level of realism is unknown until I try it… That will be quite a while. I can say that having used them for some time now, I am completely happy with the sound and look of the system.
One more thing. They were not in stock at the store when I checked at first. I asked if I could just buy the display items. The Magnolia guy checked stock and they had just gotten in a set. Happy me. Yeah, these are pretty darned good.
I would grad as a 4 rather than a 5 only because I noticed the very small aperture for adding sand, as noted in other reviewers. Looking ahead, I would be tempted to modify them to make adding ballast easier. BUT that is future. So they are a FIVE for now.

Its specs say 30 inches, which fits perfect to save a sofa, for example, but it really are 28, which seems to be not much, but is important if you have something between you and the spaeker like your sofa
deepspace9 –
This is the perfect stand for the speaker it is holding up.

The stands are built well and will support some heavy speakers. Even with that, it loses a star because I feel it is overpriced.
Bill –
Great looking stands and excellent buid quality, speakers are very stable on the stands little rubber feet.
BigPapa –
Purchased these for my media room and they are the perfect size.
Buck86 –
These stands look great and are built very solid!!

I wanted strong speaker stands for a pair of 12 lb bookshelf speakers. They had to be able to resist bumps from children and pets. Sanus fit my needs well with these strong stands. You have to follow directions carefully to assemble them correctly however.
Anthony26 –
Solid well built speaker stands. Looks great in my home theater
Mark123 –
Good sturdy stands for my bookshelf speakers easy asssembly
Tartans90 –
Bought these for a set of Paradigm bookshelf speakers. Easy to assemble, sharp looking and very sturdy.
dallas1 –
I like them. I think they are discontinued though.

I’m using these stands to hold rear surround speakers for a 7.2.2 system. Assembly went well. Stand is sturdy.
Agent1138 –
Took a chance on these and I’m very satisfied. The instruction manual leaves a bit to be desired but I figured it out. These are nice, sturdy, quality speaker stands. They work great with my new MartinLogan Motion 15 speakers. You can’t really go wrong.

Love them durable made to look great recommend them to all my friends

this was easy to put together and the materials are very solid

Bought these stands for my Klipsch RP-160M bookshelf speakers. The speakers are big and heavy. These stands are made of high quality material. Assembly was easy, took about 30 min to set up both stands. It’s heavy and should be able to support most types of bookshelf speakers, provided how they are installed on the stands. I wish the top base, where you put the speakers was a little bigger. It’s a bit smaller for my speakers. I have to be careful when I have guest and children playing and running around in the house. The 30″ height is also a great choice if you want them to use for the back surround speakers. Overall, really good product.

Was very impressed with this stand, easy to assemble looks great and is quite stable with my speakers.
Absolutely would purchase again.
TRANSFORM –
GREAT PRODUCT AT A GREAT PRICE, EASY TO UNDERSTAND AND USE!
Lobo –
These stands are solid and stable. I put sand in the upright tubes for better vibration damping.
Alk1956 –
Good quality stand; filling with sand a good idea for sound aborbsion.
PieEater –
I have Klipsch RP250S on these stands and they are very sturdy. I filled with sand using toilet roll tubes and tape to control the flow (playground sand). Speaker wire management could be better as there are just two plastic rings to feed your wire through (on the exterior). Would highly recommend – spent a long time doing research before making this purchase.

These stands are heavy and very sturdy. Made to last a lifetime.
ColtOne –
These are very well made and do exactly what I needed them to do. The finish is nice and they assembled easily. My two issues are the following. The holes for filling them are ridiculously small and make it very tedious to fill. The other issue is with the flimsy cable guides. I had one brake in half during installation. Other than these issues I like them very much.
BayLee –
Blends in well with my Klipisch speakers. I just wish they had a better support on top. One of my speakers did get bumped off once

I have an old pair of Sanus stands that I use for my surround speakers in my home theatre setup. So when I needed to get stands for my new Elac Unifi slim Bookshelf speakers I decided to look at the Sanus stands. These Sanus Steel Foundation stands are great. They are well built, sturdy and look great. They are the perfect match for the Elac bookshelf speakers. The stand comes with rubber feet and spikes to accommodate carpet or hard flooring. It also comes with rubber pads and spikes for the speakers. The only complaint is that one of the guides for the speaker wire broke or was broken, but I was able to glue a plastic piece on so it works fine.
TodA –
Simply design. Perfect height for my needs. Plenty of damping for any bookshelf speaker
Stan393 –
These were my choice for speaker stands after reading reviews about other stands
LarryZ –
These are very solid, well built speaker stand. They’re holding 23 pound bookshelf surround speakers. My complaints are the small size of the top shelf and the lack of adequate cable management. It would have been so easy to have the option of running the speaker wire inside one of the vertical columns which are hollow. Oh well…
Harleyguy –
Had to take it apart multiple times and need to drill a hole in order for the screw to fit. Still is not level front to back.
Kcbark –
Bought these to hold my Klipsch RP-502. Fits perfectly. Quality, well made. I didn’t find it necessary to fill with sand …yet.
moe48 –
Instructions unclear as to how the plastic feet attach to the base but otherwise fine.
Hector –
Overall good product, firm, looks good, made with really good material.
Danboy –
Great set of stands. Read other reviews to get tips on assembly before you begin assembly – that is why I deducted one star (for the assembly instructions being weak in my mind). Once assembled very solid!
Kabby –
We r very pleased with the way our speaker stands compliment our home theatre system
Js85 –
Good solid stands, worked as expected and look great as well
Nice –
Great stands!
Look good in open space!
Greattttttt!
dave –
Nice weight and footprint. Good speaker/stand surface interface. Utterly nonexistent cable management feature. Two plastic tabs with holes in them is a shame. I bought a pair of Sanus stands over 15 years ago with an elegant cable solution down the pipes. Ruined the rest of the product
Victus –
At first I thought this was going to be too short but the height is just right. Very sturdy and they look great.
