Incredible projector. not the easiest to align with the screen the for the first time, but the results are incredible once aligned. Great picture, fast responding OS, wide range of apps available. Speaker is a bit weak, but works in a pinch. highly recommend!
Macho9556 –
The best UST projector on the market. Colorful and vivid images

This thing is all-around beautiful. Very sleek design that can fit into almost any decor. The picture is very sharp with crisp colors at 120″. For those of you who are casual gamers, I’ve been using this with my PS4. I’ve played a ton of MLB The Show 21. The input lag isn’t very noticeable. It may have a better response than my old 65″ 4K Sony TV. I’m not much for FPS games, so I can’t speak on that at this time. I haven’t noticed any stuttering, ghosting, or lag when watching movies or streaming.
There are only 3 drawbacks I’ve found so far.
1. It’s so expensive I flip out anytime my kids get near it. We actually put a baby gate around it to protect it.
2. There is no boom in the sound. It’s very clear audio, but absolutely no bass. It’s really meant tobe used with surround sound or equivalent.
3. It’s a pain to center up on your screen. I’m sure it’s the same issue with all ultra short throw projectors. It does have adjustable feet.
All-in-all my buyer’s remorse wasn’t too bad so I guess it was a reasonable purchase for my conscience to handle. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who can afford it and want a giant beautiful image on their wall.

So i was pretty hesitant to drop that dollar amount into the unknown – claiming 4k results… that said, our family is very impressed. you will find it hard pressed to find flaw with the picture quality when paired with the ust screen (i am using the si screen option). i went 120″ due to simple room capabilities and have not looked back. bb magnolia set everything up after exhaustive research related to room / screen height etc. we are having countless movie nights and havnt looked back since.

For years I been wanting a movie theater like experience at the house. This projector has been breath of fresh air experiencing entertainment. From the vivid colors to every detail displayed. Easy to install.
Be advised when buying this projector that it needs to be paired up with a UST projector screen. Anything below .5 gain such as the Darkstar Elite would do the trick. If you do not invest in a good projector screen you won’t get 100% of what you paid for. Screen needs to be Ambient light absorbing.
From Gaming to movie watching. Everything looks stunning. Competitive FPS shooting games such as Call of Duty and other games may give you lag.

Samsung Lspt9 is amazing! Very happy w/picture quality/detail even w/o screen. Screen takes it to another level of awesome! software easy to use with wifi. I would set up “Smarthings” app for remote mobile device right away, remotes are very difficult to get right now even direct from Samsung if soemthing happens to original.

This is my 3rd laser ultra short throw project. The technology has finally evolved to a point where regular front projectors become obsolete. The image quality in terms of color, contrast, motion and resolution are breathtaking when matched with a Screen Innovation short throw screen. As usual, I ordered the whole package from Best Buy / Magnolia. I have used BB installation services many times and this time there is also no surprise, Great products, great service. Five ***** STARs.

Great service, the tech team was on time and very professional
Kannan –
This projector is offering great brightness for a projector product line. I have already own a samsung smart tv and its operating system is very user friendly and easy to operate. I would recommend this projector to my friends.
Laserprojector –
Clear image during the day time, has alexa and all the apps.
3LaserLover –
Picture is incredible! Very happy with the projector. Only annoyance is with a UST everything is “special” (and more expensive). Screens and audio setup are not as simple and much more expensive than a traditional.
Bolting7 –
This exceeds my expectations in almost every way. Setup with the wall-mounted Elite Screen takes a little patience and trial-and-error, but once you get close there are alignment options in the setup controls to really fine-tune your picture to your screen. Paired with the Sonos Arc and Subwoofer, it is a great home theater experience! From movies to sports, everyone wants to watch this.
BJCW –
Bought this for a dedicated home theater to be built in basement. Got it for $1500 off regular price. Was so excited to check it out, I set it up in our living room projecting onto a tan colored wall. OMG!! Even during the day with plenty of ambient light coming in, the image was crisp and colors great. Even better at night. I love this thing. The 130″ image I projected was only 9 inches from the wall. It was such an immersive experience and the built in speakers are actually pretty decent. I can hardly wait to get it set up in a dark room with a proper screen. This is my first projector and I know it’s expensive, but it is so worth it!
Billy –
Outstanding picture…overall good brightness. Make sure you get an UST screen to get the most out of this projector.
Boug –
I’ve got this projector paired with a Vividstorm S Pro 120, along with Klipsch Reference Premier with a Denon receiver. Even with full daylight coming through a side window, you still get a pretty good picture, but at night (or a dark room) it really shines. I really enjoy how easy it is to use as a television (with Samsung TV), and how awesome it makes movie nights with good surround. The projector itself stays quiet, and isn’t noticable while watching a movie. I haven’t connected my Switch to it yet, but it won’t break my enjoyment if it ends up being a little laggy.
It’s spendy, and if you want a crisp picture during all hours you can certainly save with a TV (and not having to purchase a separate screen), but you don’t get the same experience as a giant 120″ picture in your room. Plus, if your screen is retractable, you can put it in front of a window, block daylight, and retract your screen and still be able to see out of your window. The screen is a must though, and finding furniture to fit a 107″ width screen if you don’t plan on hanging it can be a bother.

What a difference! This is my first projector, and I can’t believe I’ve waited this long to get one as a home theatre enthusiast. I had a 2018 75″ Sony 4K and the picture quality on the LSP9T is just as good, if not better, and the screen is HUGE. When I watch a movie now I feel like I’m in the movie! Thank you to the BB sales rep who recommended I upgrade to a projector. Buy this, you will not be disappointed!
Craig –
I am writing about my brand new Samsung LSP9T projector. I was going to build a movie room in my basement…that is, until I started realizing the overall cost. To put together a pretty great room, all included, it was going to be in the neighborhood of $50,000-$60,000. I say that because if you are also looking in that direction, you can get a quality of the movie room for a fraction of the cost with this ultra short throw projector. now, I’m not saying it’s inexpensive (try to get it when it’s on sale…by the way, I bought mine at full price, about $6,500, but it went on sale the week after I bought it. IF this happens to you, call their ‘price match’ hotline or whatever, and they will honor the discount. I was willing to pay $6,500 for it, but wound up getting $1,500 back! Heckuva deal if you ask me! As for performance, several key points – 1) it can operate to the full 130” screen. Moving from 55” above a fireplace mantle to the side wall is incredible. 2) You will have to address daytime light in the room…ambient light does affect the contrast/ability to see the screen…but then again, that’s why you don’t have a window on the side wall of a movie theater room. It performs EXCELLENT at night if you have windows in the room like I do. I will be getting light cancelling curtains eventually. 3) Everywhere I read, they recommend a screen, and that might help with my 2nd point, but just on my regular painted white wall, it seems to work just fine. I will eventually paint the wall using matte gray paint, or screen paint gray, but for right now, i think it does just fine as it is. 4) I paid $200 for the total tech thing they offered, but the way I split up payment (about half on a best buy card, half on my own credit card), they said I can either pay no interest for 24 months on the card, or if I pay the entire amount off in 30 days from purchase, I’ll get $200 store credit (so, basically pays for the total tech…and/or I can buy something else, like speakers. Because I heard horror stories of the LSP9T not working out of the box, I wanted to have a) the ability to return it without a restocking fee, b) getting the total tech got me 60 days, not 15 days to return it, so no restocking fee and 60 days to return (I kept the box just in case), c) full Geek support for the 1st year, so if the lamp goes somehow in the 1st year, they will replace the lamp, or entire thing in the 1st year, AND a 2nd year coverage of just parts…for as much as I paid, if it doesn’t break down in those 60 days, it better not break down for the life of it (which is on average, 4 hrs per day for 17 yrs!!!. 5) Speaking of speakers, the actual sound bar on the LSP9T itself is very serviceable. It not going to give you surround sound results, but I found it pretty great. 6) operating system – I’m a Samsung guy, so my phone is Samsung. Most of my TV’s are samsung…and i promise you, I get paid $0 to say that. the operating system is very easy to manage (2 of my tv’s have a very similar system, so already knew how to operate it). I was able to download apple TV+ which was not loaded when I got it. All the apps work just fine. 7) The room I have this in is 9 or 10 ft high…I recommend buying a low-profile table, as the screen will take up most of your wall. If you have a low ceiling, but have a regular tv height stand, you’re not going to be able to get the maximum size out of the projector. 8) even though the device has an auto-dimmer if you accidentally pop your head over the top of the lens, just be very careful…the 1st time I went to look at something in the back of the projector with it on, it did delay to turn off, so I almost caught 2,800 lumens right in my eyes…don’t do that! You’ll see the one picture my dog appears to be close to doing that. I assure you he was far enough away, and I don’t let him get anywhere near it.
I’ve only had the projector for about 2 weeks now. But, I must say it has impressed me every step of the way. I need the light cancelling curtains to see if there is an improvement to daytime tv watching, but night time tv watching is pretty incredible. I don’t see it as an expensive $5,000 purchase…I see it as paying 1/10th the cost I might have paid if I went forward with building a home movie theater for $50,000! AND, I’m getting the same screen size. And I have $200 towards getting a surround sound system to add to the room…very satisfied…so far!
Dune –
I also was able to get this on sale for $5,000. Wonderful picture. Easy to set up and get going. It does take more time to align everything up and some settings are a bit confusing since im not a projector expert but overall i was able to get it up and playing video games and movies within 30 minutes.
Kkkrystal –
Best home theater ever.Fun of movie night with family!
Patrick –
Fantasy projector for my media room. Love the smart tv features with Samsung products. Makes streaming very easy.
MovieWatcher –
A+. WOW! This system brings a new dimension to watching anything
Deki –
Really strong red color forcing picture to look to redish
TerenceD –
This is a great product. Movie nights are great and this projector is sleecker than the one I was going to purchase before this one.
MWR1 –
This is one of the best products out there. A must for cinema lovers!
JOB1951 –
Beautiful, bright, sharp, vivid picture. I never thought I would spend that much on a TV, but it’s almost as good as a theater. The sound is not bad, but that had no bearing on the purchase.
SergioSR –
Never thought a projector would look as good as this Samsung. When it comes to TVs I always went for Sony’s flagship but when paired with a good projector screen this projector is impressive. I purchased it open box back in September 2021 and paired with a grandview ust screen. My family loves it.
qianqian –
Very blurred during the day,Not worth it ..……………..
MaxM –
Decent picture in a dark room but barely useable in a bright room. Returned for a much brighter unit that came with a screen.
TeeJay –
Purchased about a year ago when it was first released. We recently had issues with hundreds of pixels going out, but after shipping it in to Samsung, they were quick to send us a new unit and it is still covered under warranty. The projector itself is absolutely stunning and with the right screen and enough light mitigation, it can be played in the day, you’ll ideally want to avoid direct sunlight on it though. I actually think this is better than movie theater experience if you pair with a good surround sound also. Couldn’t be happier with the purchase.
Only down side is I will say it stinks that it is $1,000 off already less than a year later. I wish they would have priced it like that orginally.
David –
Best UST projector there is.
Picture Quality is amazing.
Buddy9 –
Fit my needs perfectly. Good 4k quality picture. Good price from Best Buy! Relatively easy set up.
great –
excellent device, great look , great performance
love it
BestEarbudsEver –
The Samsung Premiere Short Throw Projector is an absolute replacement for the traditional television. The Premiere Projector is very sharp and is everything I hoped it would be when deciding to purchase. The advertised screen size is 130 inches, but the Premiere easily displays at 150 inches with 4k clarity and color. The Movies exist in my media room!!

Great product exceed expectations. Highly recommend. Awesome picture
glaney –
Love it. Works perfect for my home theater. It’s pricey, but worth it. Picture quality is awesome, easy to setup (just take your time). Highly recommend!!
LalitG –
Excellent projector love it so far. Excellent addition to our home theater.
Soundandvisuals –
I upgraded from the lsp7t and saw a huge difference in accuracy of colors and brightness. Also sits much closer to the wall, which make our movie room look much better.
Kace –
I literally just picked this up today so hopefully I’m not speaking too soon LOL but this thing is cool! I can’t believe I never knew how amazing projectors were; or maybe just this one? I have it playing on a large plain textured white wall. No screen or anything and it’s perfect for me. I was looking for something easily hide-able for my minimalist vibe bedroom and this is nicer than I imagined it would be. I’m stupid with setting things up and this was so easy to set up, barely needed to adjust anything luckily. The speaker is amazing quality also. I’m just truly impressed and in love and I don’t think I’ll ever buy a normal tv again. Projector is the way to go!! I hope the quality lasts and doesn’t give me any issues but the quality is so good!!!
Ahmed –
Wonderful picture quality. Operating system is good. Sound is good but with this price should probably buy a sound system. Make sure to use a good clr screen
Craig –
The ability to use this during the day on a white wall without a screen is a miracle. My wife loves it just as much as I do. This has been the only A/V purchase ive ever made where she’s actually excited. Not to mention it looks great while turned off.
AJ334 –
I have been with the Samsung Premiere for several years and decided to buy one for each room in my home equipped with a high-end ALR screen. Day of night this is a great choice.
Subhash –
Best picture quality and sound (40W) thats possible from a ust
Foxw –
Absolutely perfect! Words cannot explain how gorgeous media displays on this projector! You really have to see it to understand!
KSCh –
Mesmerizing picture quality, easy to use OS, quick install, comoatbility with aonos earc soundbar, era300 speakers and subwoofer! 130+ screen size with no loss in clarity!! Setup is super easy with the samsung app. Worth the price! Only con is the frustating alignment system with difficult to access 2 front feet. Highly recommend this instead of a tv.
Jamin –
I was talked out of getting a 100″ TV and going with a projector instead, and it definitely seems like the right move. I can be on my desktop on the other side of the room and not have trouble making out any detail or text.
Empire13 –
After much research, I decided to go with this UST projector and could not be happier. Even with light in the room, you get a great picture and when you completely darken the room, there is no movie theater that can compete with it. We got the 120-inch screen which is also a must. I only sits about 20 inches from the wall, so there is nothing to trip over or interfere with the picture. It also hooks up well with my Amazon 4K cube and into our tuner with 7.1 surround sound. This unit will give you an amazing experience for both sports and movies. Peter at Magnolia put together the deal and made sure everything was perfect, going the extra yard.

Tony is my Superman hero. He is awesome as always.

I don’t know – I am 6 weeks and 4 in home visits in so far, and the job still isn’t complete due to missing or damaged items. Nice tech guys, not their fault. So far I have wasted 18-20 hours of missed work waiting around for service calls, and have at least one more to go (assuming it gets corrected that time).
Vman –
This projector is a replacement for an Optoma P2B bought roughly 1.5 years ago. I had NO idea how comparatively puny the Optoma picture was compared to the Samsung….not to mention the added features of the Samsung such as built in ATSC tuner, streaming apps and in home network streaming capabilities. The Samsung is twice the proce of the Optoma but every penny’s difference is there in the Samsung.
BUY the Samsung if you can afford it. You’ll be glad you did.
Happy –
Picture quality and viewing experience is amazing! The kids love playing video games on here and they haven’t noticed any lag when gaming. Setup was easy, sleek design for a piece of equipment that always has to be out and visible. If the wife would let me and i had the wall space, I’d have one in every room! If i had to list a CON: I was worried about kids touching or bumping cabinet it sits on and affecting the projection on the wall as its very sensitive to that( I’m sure most projectors can be sensitive to movement, but this is my first). My kids 2,7, and 9 have been very cautious around it.
