Not quite perfect. Had an issue with the first one has to trade it out. Fantastic for work, expensive but has value. I wish it was a little bit taller of a screen. I also wish that the stand was about another inch taller just for my situation. I don’t think it has the greatest resolution possible. But I definitely think that if you’re just buying this for every day use and that isn’t that important to you it’s a great purchase because it’s essentially combining three screens into one giant screen.

When you run this monitor at 240hz it shows scanlines. I wouldn’t recommend it at all.

This is one you look for. The higher the resolution, the more choices you have for activities on the big screen. If you’re skilled at multitasking, you can do multiple things on one screen. It’s great for gamers too; it’s like combining a game console and computer into one. The 240Hz With the screen space of two 27” panels offers for the price I paid was worth every penny. It’s like experiencing those graphics during game in your real life more like you are watching the movies.

I work on excel spreadsheets all the time for work and i love being able to see so many columns of cells at once. And it looks stunning when playing games that support the resolution. Games that do not are quite unfortunate.

Got a good deal on this model, the issue is the clicking warping noises samsung monitors have when they heat up and theres no way yo get rid of it until they make changes to their entire set up, im able to get passed it by having a regular tuned hdr on but the darks and whites are closely accurate. 1ms is true as well but watch out for dead pixels!

I thought these would be awesome – they’re just ok. Honestly its not that much better than having 2 monitors, they look good but they are ginormous. We had an issue with one of these where the screen keeps going black but to be honest the shear size of it stopped us from taking it to the store to be looked at. I wouldn’t buy these or any other widescreen monitor again. I tried doing some trouble shooting with the total tech agent, but all he wanted to do was send me into the store. The issue is small enough and happens infrequently enough that I’ve kept it – but I wouldn’t recommend these. Also no inbuilt speakers – it is on the specifications.

Ultra Wide FTW!!! Using this monitor is slightly overbearing initially but once you get used to it well the space it opens up is crazy! You can be incredibly productive with a side of efficiency due to the screen space.
In games that support the screen size its amazing to help see things more frequently and at a wider view than others.

Takes a bit to set up – Samsung takes their cable management seriously (but looks awesome!).
Two screenshots below – one at 1080, other at 1440.
If you go HDMI, 1080 is your best bet. If you go Displayport, Mac has no problem driving it at 1440.

Great! As usual with most 240 monitors, turn off G-sync to avoid flicker and random black screen issues. Had some trouble with high FPS games and screen going black for 1/2 second, then reconnecting. Just like my previous 240 refresh Samsung, it was all GSync. Soon as I turned that off no issues since. It is a really, really good monitor especially at that $899 price point. Do yourself a favor if using for work, download MS Powertoys and get your FancyZones set. It’s productivity to the max.

I’ve owned 2 of this model and one of another Samsung ultrawide. They’ve all gotten dead pixel(s) within 3 months and now there’s no comp available to swap it with. Still probably the best Super Ultrawide so if that’s what you want this is a great option, just hope any dead pixel(s) are off to the side. Seems like either the quality of the tech or the production needs a couple more years at least to improve. Unacceptable QC at this price range.

This Monitor is pretty amazing. I like how vivid the colors are. Im using it on a racing sim and it seems like the perfect screen for that application.
It says black on the description, but the back of the monitor is the white one with the cool round light design.
The only think i can see as a down side is the weight of it.
May want to get help mounting it if you are afraid of dropping it.

Worked…for about 6 months. A green pixelated line showed up and would not go away. I had to call Samsung since it was outside of the BB return period. Samsung is sitting on the warranty claim and won’t RMA or send a tech out in timely manner. I will not be buying from Samsung again.
