    I would give it about a 4.3 – great sound, descent user interface. Unsure if it is an open box flaw, but I can’t seem to play music while it’s charging a phone (USB mode) and it won’t charge anything on Bluetooth mode. I’m sure I could figure it out, but fact remains. Bass boost is nice, haven’t blared it (maybe a “diet” blare) but so far no cracking or anything. Lightweight considering it’s size, I actually make the effort to bring it into whatever room I wanna use it.

    A great sounding speaker but would not play the usb for some unknown reason and then it froze up. I couldn’t get it to play anymore. So i took it back and got a refund.

    I bought this speaker, thinking that Samsung model really by their name behind this. It was really  disappointing coming to learn that once I get past a certain volume it sounds very grainy and robotic. I got it for a party that I was having the same day and it was completely useless. Upgradibg to a jbl. Lets see how that goes

    Not loud at all thought they would be louder. They aren’t even loud when they sync together the volume goes down don’t know why

    This Samsung speaker is pretty decent. It gets plenty loud. My only gripe is that it sounds a little muddy. It’s not as crisp or clean sounding as some speakers. I wish there was a way to tune it a little better. I bought this as a replacement for a 10 year old Bluetooth speaker. It does the job, but it could be a little better.

    This Samsung Sound Tower was bout “open box excellent condition”. It does exactly what I expected, and sound quality is great. The only bummer, and reason for the 4 stars instead of 5, is the power cord was not provided. It was part of original packaging and should have been included in the purchase. I had to buy my own.

    We use the speaker for birthday parties, gatherings and at baseball games. Works well for these situations. I can see where being able to link another speaker wirelessly would be beneficial. I’d suggest that route if you’re purchasing this speaker for a house party or maybe an outdoor party.

    The MX-ST40B is rated for only 160W but packs a punch, producing good bass when in Bass Boost mode while retaining sound clarity for mids and highs. It’s a step up from its predecessor rated at 300W. Party lights and DJ modes are also lots of fun. Great buy!!

    I really like my speaker I have a couple of blue tooth speakers that I use for different functions, I really wish it came with a mic . I purchased one and it didn’t connect with the speaker! I’m about that because we love karaoke!

    Compared to some other speakers in the price range, this one is pretty sad. The bass is muddy and the sound is not as full as the Sony or JBL rivals. If you can get it fir u der $250, then it’s worth it.

    This speaker gets the job done. Im using it as a cheap alternative to fixing the stereo system in my car. Its… Fine. The bass can really boom with the bass boost mode on. Towards the loudest end of the range, the sound quality does take a slight dip. Ultimately, for the price (i bought an open-box item) it’s probably the best that exists out there. Just know that if you really want to shake your windows (or neighbors), you might be better served upgrading to the next model up or one of the JBL partybox speakers.
